Going: Find Flight Deals Reviews

It's 2024. We have non-commercial, non-governmental individuals flying into space. But some developers haven't figured out how to format a screen for landscape mode on tablets. No worth any additional time, to me.

Going as far as I can see has no way to easily search dates. An arrow has to be pressed and it moves over one date. No way to search month to find dates your looking for.

No way to erase my account. I want to delete it completely, there needs to be an option for this. Going is only for domestic flights now without paying premium. Just doesn’t do anything for me as i only fly internationally!

App opens to splash screen, and then… does nothing. Just cycles endlessly between (presumably sample) deals to Hawaii, Tokyo, and Paris. Can’t click on anything, can’t scroll anywhere. Just a screensaver. Let it go for a few minutes, just in case it was loading reeeaaalllly slowly. But no dice.

Bummer. Was looking forward to having this on my phone. Will delete and try again later I guess.

I have an older iPhone mini and I cannot get to the sign in button on Going Home Screen, which makes it impossible to sign into Going and thus worthless. I can see the sign up for free button and the top edge of what looks like it should be a sign in button but I can’t scroll to see it.

I took the trial on the full version as I am an international traveller and get exhausted looking for deals. Once installed I put in my next destination, Manila in the Philippines. Not found. Then put in five more recent ones that are more off the beaten path: Yerevan, Tashkent, etc. App did not recognize any of them. I plan to go to Dubai next year so figured that would be more popular and yes it found that airport. But none of the other airports were found and I was not able to save any future alerts even for Dubai. So far I see no value and cancelled my subscription. Appears to be functional only for very popular destinations although I was surprised that even Manila was not found.

my 8 year old can find the same deals on google, and the flights are 6 months sooner…

Paid $49+tax for Premium then paid another $199+tax to upgrade to Elite a few days later so I could see international deals (with that said, this app should be refunding me my initial $49+tax).
My Membership Status says Elite but I cant access any fare “deals” claiming I need to upgrade to view. At this point I’m only seeing what a Free Membership would get.
I’ve SENT SEVERAL REQUESTS FOR HELP
and even tried calling them on FB but no help.
Extremely FRUSTRATED.

The deals look great until you see they're with certain airlines that won't even give you a carry on. So by the time you customize your flight, the price is far higher than promised. This would be remedied if you could filter airlines or include bag costs as you can with Google flights. But Going has zero customization settings. Makes it pretty pointless to use. Google flights is far more effective

I love looking for deals on this app (one of these days I’ll find one that actually works for our schedule). However, Going is super buggy. The filter feature completely unavailable, when looking for flights it jumps back to the first flight that was popped up on Going , etc. Until Going is better developed I’m this app to continue using the website.

Just downloaded Going . Did a couple of test searches. For both, Going showed fewer deals than the same search when logged in via the web. Am I missing something? No point in using Going if the web provides better results.

The deals in Going are worse than I could find using Google flights, Skyscanner, Expedia, etc. Because of that, there’s really no point to use Going .

First, it takes too long to open. You go through the same process and wait every time. Then you get info that is less tailored than the emailed info than I get as an elite subscriber. This removes more value than adds to it.
Please create a way to customize and let me “skip to intro” like on Netflix or something. You’ve established your brand already if someone gets Going . Now make Going better like apps should be. Thanks

Going takes forever to load, if it ever even does load. The information within Going is not as detailed as the website and doesn’t give you any information about the deals other than the deal price and the base price, which makes it difficult to gauge how good the deal is. These issues render Going more or less useless — you’ll be done with your vacation planning with the website before you’ll pass the loading screen on Going .

The website is great to find deals. Going is not. I could take a flight to the other side of the country and come back before Going loads. I get notifications about flight deals but when I click it it just gets stuck on the opening logo animation screen.

The 2 stars is mainly because you offer a great free trial unlike many other companies and the website is good.

However, It’s clear you invested more in UI Design than you did in UX or Engineering.

I’ll just stick to the website :)

Apps okish just hard to find where your tracked flights are very buggy and crashes often

I love this service, but lately I have had to use the website in-browser because Going just won’t load. It won’t budge from the loading screen. I haven’t been able to access it in a couple of months now, so I am hoping there is a fix soon!

Edit: Thank you for your response! it’s still not fixed, unfortunately...just sits on the blue “G” screen indefinitely.

This is not a write up about the service just Going . The website of this app is clear, quick and informative, but Going lack the experience that I’ve grown to know from the website. It’s very slow loading and becomes frustrating.

I know this is probably just a technical issue, but if Going can be as quick as the website I would use Going more.

Going takes a bit to load. Also I want Going updated so that it will go to Going by default not ask me to log in on the website alone or at least give me the option of app or website as most emails now do.

Love the service but Going is pretty buggy. The filters on iOS don’t work or the button doesn’t open. I find myself just navigating to the website to really be able to sort and filter through the content I want to look at. Otherwise a great service but Going experience needs a little work.

I was part of the beta program and rarely had an issue with Going but for some reason I’ve had nothing but issues with the new app. It rarely loads for me and just gets stuck in the purple screen. It’s unfortunate because I absolutely love the service!

This is one of my favorite apps this year. I’m guilty of not making vacation plans all the time, but now this app gives me new vacation ideas every time I login. The best part is the inexpensive flight costs Going finds now makes it easy to plan and pick my next adventure! Thanks this app!!

Going is really easy to use to search for flights with options for airports, airlines, and more. It’s also great inspiration. I wouldn’t think to go to the website but if I have some extra time to kill, I’ll open Going and search for cheap flights from my closest airport.
