Do NOT waste your time like I did. You will get ZERO from CellNetworkFinderandRadar except a MILLION pop ups asking for your money - your review - do you have a problem - we are so busy. No joke - it is unusable! You actually have a pop up that says you are so busy!!?? You are all EPIC liars!! You are not busy - You are sitting around doing Nothing to make CellNetworkFinderandRadar even remotely usable - I understand everyone needs to make money - but CellNetworkFinderandRadar was designed to ONLY get more money from people. Go ahead - if you are reading this - you are thinking that this time it’ll be different for you... you will download it anyway - just like I did... then I only ask that you post a review like me for others to learn... and then delete CellNetworkFinderandRadar ... this useless... burning garbage... waste of space of an app.
Trying Times

It’s difficult at times finding an app that actually does what it says. I give this one star, as it does load. What happens next is disappointing. Trying to find my service towers prompted a .99 upgrade, OK I thought. But alas the upgrade only worked one time. However the upgrade loaded a button on the map for the purpose of a power search to find my towers and all it does is trigger CellNetworkFinderandRadar to ding me for the same upgrade again, which even if initiated, Apple Apps store recognizes I’ve already paid for this even as CellNetworkFinderandRadar doesn’t. Wow, Houston, we have a problem. App needs some help. There are other apps but none seem to work as well as they used to. There is a tower on a hill that I can see from my house. It’s not that far away and has been there a number of years, so it is not a new tower. The old app found the tower and identified it. Only one of the apps I downloaded today see it and allows you to drill down to the specific carrier and whether it’s 2-3g or 4g. And guess what! It ain’t CellNetworkFinderandRadar and it is still free. Hmm. Go figure.
Kind of sleazy

Looks promising when you first open CellNetworkFinderandRadar . But, you will find yourself getting “stuck” in a purchase prompt loop of you decline to purchase a “feature” (I use that term lightly, these “features” tend to be trivial). For example, you tap on an icon that seems like it should do something, but then you are prompted to pay; such as having the compass line up correctly to the map. If you decline to purchase, CellNetworkFinderandRadar does some weird thing that automatically try multiple extra times to initiate a purchase. You are then basically stuck in this purchase prompt/decline loop until you kill CellNetworkFinderandRadar manually (by double clicking home and swiping it up). I’m very puzzled by the developers motives on this, and puzzled how it passed Apple’s QA.
Scam & Horrible Support

CellNetworkFinderandRadar is a complete scam from what it seems. I purchased a $0.99 upgrade, and could not use the features after purchase, even though Apple recognized the purchase and I have the receipt. I tried to “Restore Purchases” and made sure I was on the latest version of CellNetworkFinderandRadar , but I still do not have my feature that I paid for. I then decided to try buying it again since it was only $0.99, and had the same issue once more. After that, I attempted to contact support. I got a response that asked for more info, was very vague, and honestly overall unhelpful. I responded back, and instead of trying to help me, they never responded again. I have yet to receive the feature I paid for, a few weeks later, and did not receive a refund of any sort. Complete and total scam. From reading the other reviews, it seems that I am not the only one with issues of CellNetworkFinderandRadar scamming. I would give 0 stars if I could. Would not recommend.
If you download CellNetworkFinderandRadar, it will ask you to purchase in-app purchases to get it fully working. Which is perfectly fine as a lot of apps do this; however. CellNetworkFinderandRadar DOES NOT WORK. Once you make the in-app purchase and try to use the feature you just paid for, and Apple prompt will pop up asking for you to purchase it again. Even if you restore your purchases. Nobody appears to be fixing this either. So they are just simply sitting back and collecting your money.
Now I’m even having trouble with Apple refunding the money back to me because they said it’s “not eligible for a refund” without giving any explanation why. I mean seriously, it’s only $.99 but c’mon...it’s the concept of it now. All this is now is an app in the Apple Store no less...robbing people of their money and getting away with it. So that’s exactly what’s going to happen if you download CellNetworkFinderandRadar and purchase anything inside it.
Don’t waste your money. This app should be removed from the App Store.

I bought CellNetworkFinderandRadar to conduct an independent review. The accuracy of towers located through CellNetworkFinderandRadar on the maps feature are non-existent or so far off it leaves me to believe they are plotting the locations using outdated data, not tower signal based GPS coordinates. I went to a known tower (AT&T) location, parked within 10 meters of the tower site and attempted to locate the tower. It was not found. I drove to locations where CellNetworkFinderandRadar indicated towers were identified and they were non-existent. Every feature requires an upgrade, however, when the feature is purchased, any subsequent use of the upgrade requires an additional purchase of the previously made upgrade. There is an “error” message the pops up that indicates CellNetworkFinderandRadar cannot connect to iTunes. These are just a few of the issues with CellNetworkFinderandRadar , there are too many to write about. I was using a Gen 2 iPad Pro, and iPhone X, both with iOS 11.3.

I've had CellNetworkFinderandRadar for some time. I've known it to want $ before actually trying to present any information. Any feature you need, pay $1-3 per use, each time. Open it, no gps, shows me NYC. I last used this at Fort Knox 2 years ago trying to find actual cell towers, configuring best areas to set up cellular hot spots and avoid interference from on-post radio transmitters. Even then, 1,000 miles from where I am now, it only worked as a peek; it opened up and showed you your immediate vicinity and a bunch of icons for various alleged towers that did not correspond with reality. To specifically look at anything, anywhere, on whatever map cost $$. I would pay a few dollars for CellNetworkFinderandRadar if it weren't riddled with add-on, in-app purchases for anything you want to do or see other than just turning on CellNetworkFinderandRadar ! I'm deleting it, now. I hope it changes and becomes a bit more stable and a lot less greedy. - Major P, US Army.
Total Scam

by Litylemoe7
I’m surprised that CellNetworkFinderandRadar made it past Apples testers. CellNetworkFinderandRadar is a total scam. It does not show many of the towers that I know exist. Stand near one and CellNetworkFinderandRadar does not locate it. So I tried the Tower Power Search. It immediately asked me to purchase thus function and do I did thinking this would help. It did not. CellNetworkFinderandRadar did not show any additional towers that I know exist. Then when I went to use thus feature again, it asked me to purchase the feature again. I refused. When it suggested I use the Location Tracker feature to better find towers and keep towers in view as you pan around your map, it asked me to purchase this feature. And so I did. It worked one time. When I went to use the feature again it again asked mdd Ed to purchase the feature. I did, thinking that maybe my purchase didn’t go through the first time. But no, I have multiple purchases on my card on my Apple account. These are one time use features. Every time you want to use a feature it costs you. A complete scam. Apple should take CellNetworkFinderandRadar down.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD - SCAM

Downloaded CellNetworkFinderandRadar and was instantly bombarded with in app notifications to basically use any function or feature of CellNetworkFinderandRadar . Purchased one feature and it would not work. Tried utilizing the basic features of CellNetworkFinderandRadar only to get bombarded with more in app purchase notification to do even simple tasks like zooming into the map. Got frustrated and just purchased the full unlock for $9.99. After purchase, still none of these functions or features worked and I was still bombarded with in app purchase notifications to purchase features that I just unlocked with the full unlock. When you click to report an issue with the developer you are prompted with a notification. Only asking you if YES or NO would you like this developer to reach out to you.
I wouldn’t mind paying for added functionality, but CellNetworkFinderandRadar is grossly incomplete!
I moved the map to Philadelphia covering from the airport to the northeast, and it displays ZERO TOWERS!! Get real!
When I look near my house in New Jersey, within 2 miles it only shows 2 towers, where there are dozens, and most have been around since the analog phone days! What is going on here??
All the pretty displays and search capabilities don’t mean anything if you don’t have the tower data. Do us all a big favor and take this out of the AppStore.
UPDATE - 22 June 2012
CellNetworkFinderandRadar doesn’t follow the conventions most other apps use. BEWARE! Full unlock is $9.95, but it’s only for one month! By any definition I can think of, this is a subscription, even though the description of in-app purchases says nothing about subscription ... it works out to almost $120/year! If you’re not willing to pay this subscription, look elsewhere. Even if you are willing to pay that, you’re not done, Power Search is more money!
It should not be a guessing game, to figure out the complete cost/capabilities for any app, regardless of how good it is.
Free is too expensive

You cannot do a single thing in CellNetworkFinderandRadar without an upgrade pop up asking for money. And when I say not a single thing I mean not even it’s primary function, tower information. If you just want to see a map of where towers “might be”, get it. If your looking to get any information about that tower it’s going to cost you. Want to know what frequencies the tower transmits? That’s an upgrade. Want to see a picture of the tower? That’s another upgrade. Tap on the tower location and a blurred out box pops up and disappears 1 Second later(your preview).Want CellNetworkFinderandRadar to refresh itself during your session? That’s an upgrade. According to CellNetworkFinderandRadar there’s a tower in my neighbors yard....there’s not. Uninstalling it immediately. For free it was just a waste of my time. For money? Heck no.
Worse than worthless to me

I wanted to find out which T-Mobile tower my phone was connecting to for 5g to help determine the best place to mount an external antenna on my home if I get T-Mobile home internet. Basically CellNetworkFinderandRadar uses your phone’s GPS to tell show you where you are on a map in relation to where it thinks nearby towers are located. So, nothing that you can’t get on several websites. You can unlock features that make CellNetworkFinderandRadar more user friendly, but not more useful, for $9.99 per month! Worst of all, CellNetworkFinderandRadar failed to show the 2 T-Mobile towers nearest me, and showed a different location for a tower, only blocks from my home, that definitely doesn’t exist. Nothing but an annoying waste of time. Worse than worthless.
It shows towers. That’s about it.

by Ian_da_mux
All this is good for is seeing where towers are. And even that is questionable. CellNetworkFinderandRadar is terrible to use as every few seconds you’re met with a pop up asking to spend .99 on some feature. Even after you foolishly pay.
I even paid .99 to see photos of the towers, and when I click “tap for live view” it either closes the window, or asks me to pay .99 again.
All CellNetworkFinderandRadar is, is a way for the dev team to nickel and dime people. Everyone who downloads this and pays a penny to these people is a sucker. And I’m one of them.
When you’re on a rooftop trying to aim an antenna, it’s easy to spend a dollar…

by Hgtkfggg
I THINK CellNetworkFinderandRadar works, but it never ceases to quit asking you to spend another dollar to unlock features you have already purchased. When you are actively trying to aim a cell phone signal-booster antenna at a tower you cannot see, you will generally spend another dollar rather than take the time to figure out if you already purchased the feature (or if you actually need it). My advice is try to find a different app that does the same thing but does NOT constantly beg for more money.
It’s really nice to be able to see where different network’s cell towers are, but CellNetworkFinderandRadar is excessively pushy about offering in-app purchases. You get offered while moving the map around, there’s a section that lists the upgrades in the menu, there’s even an upgrades section just a bit farther down in the menu, that also contains all the upgrades! What’s worse is that you need to check the FAQ to see which upgrades only need to be purchased once, and which ones are only active for the current session. It’s far to easy to blow a dollar on an update that you don’t stay in CellNetworkFinderandRadar long enough to use. Plus… The FAQ says that ads have been disabled for everyone, but CellNetworkFinderandRadar will still happily accept payment to remove them. This needs to change!
The fact that CellNetworkFinderandRadar doesn’t refresh automatically, that there’s no compass running, that I can’t see a picture of the tower, etc is enough to tell me that I haven’t purchased the relevant upgrades, without being constantly told it’s an option. If I wasn’t nagged about these and if they lasted longer, I might be more willing to pay for them. As it is, CellNetworkFinderandRadar is in extreme danger of driving users away by acting too desperate for money.
Everything in this app is our card from a dollar to $10 every time you click anywhere it pops up
2023-09-05
by BugsYexley
Every time you click on anything in CellNetworkFinderandRadar it pops up another thing that you can very easily end up charging to your iTunes account from a dollar to $10 for any extra thing you do on the screen
I think that’s almost as bad as malware installed on your phone and for whatever reason it does not seem to update Verizon towers that do you know are local to where you are standing
Not sure what is lacking but CellNetworkFinderandRadar is about 80% good and careful what you click on or it will cost you much more than you bargained for
Needs support ASAP

by Double Nope
Well several issues. First it is a promising app, seems to find towers accurately and that is what it is meant to do. However, after having upgraded several options, when I try to apply those options, CellNetworkFinderandRadar keeps acting as if I’m going to need to purchase them again, as well as giving some kind of error connecting to the iTunes Store. However if I click restore purchases, it does. But I have to do this over and over again. Then CellNetworkFinderandRadar wants me to rate it, fine. But when I want support? Error time. Come on devs, seriously? What’s worse is that it gives the excuse of how busy they are...I don’t even see a valid reason I need to know that. I have spent money and I’d expect some kind of support since that option is given. The devs need to know that the customer is busy as well and has chosen to use their product. That’s what’s important here. Without the customer/user using their app, they’ll be out of business. Get a grip!

I have found out so much but if you could tell where you can get more information about each tower. I my case I have a cell tower on my property that’s an ATT but ATT claims that’s not thiers and I’m left hanging. I made a complaint with the fcc and they sent the fcc a letter then closed the complaint saying ATT took care of it. I’m showing 5 towers within a couple blocks of me but my phone doesn’t communicate with any of them. So CellNetworkFinderandRadar has given me such valuable information but I don’t know what to do with it. Regardless of my issues CellNetworkFinderandRadar is fantastic.
This is a very useful app

I had purchased a cell booster at great cost which didn’t improve my cell signal at all so I was in touch with the vendor who asked me where the tower I was aiming for was located and was my antenna pointed that way. I looked on line for a recommended app to locate cell towers in my area and this is the one that was highly recommended. I had some difficulty obtaining it and sent a message to the developer who responded quickly and helped me resolve the problem. I am very satisfied both with CellNetworkFinderandRadar which I can now use and especially the helpful and quick responses from Mr. Balli.
I’ve been paying for CellNetworkFinderandRadar for over a year with no problems with his last payment I’m paid through the 30th of this month But every time I go to use CellNetworkFinderandRadar I can can’t use any of the functions and he keeps asking me to pay after I’ve already paid the full unlock I’m signed into Apple and then it says you are paid till the 30th and then I still can’t use the functions please advise how to fix this thank you
Wasted my time (and 99 cents)
2024-12-16
by Mr.MostMostDope
Seems almost useless for my needs. No filters(or I can’t find them) to show only towers broadcasting your carrier’s signal (in my case, Verizon) I did the 99 cent in-app purchase for “Power Search” and I couldn’t tell that I’d gotten any new feature(s). I only wasted 99 cents and some of my time, but hey, it’s the principle 😉. I just wish there was an app that would simply show(in order of preference), for the tower from which my phone is currently receiving a signal, 1) real-time compass heading to tower 2)current signal power being received in decibels 3) tower distance and 4)tower GPS coordinates
AVOID THIS SCAM

by IChris36
Want to actually, you know, USE CellNetworkFinderandRadar? Try a tap and watch in awe at the immediate prompt of a purchase option for EVERY INTERACTION.
You must purchase the “image preview” option to view pictures. $0.99
You must purchase the “compass upgrade” option to use the compass. $1.99
You must purchase the “carrier tower power search” option to search for towers. $0.99
You must purchase the “geocoded address search” option to search for a location on the maps. $0.99
You must purchase the “custom map style option” to change your maps. $0.99
Word of advice for the developer(s): CellNetworkFinderandRadar HAS potential. An improved UI (and I mean IMPROVED), more cohesive unity among the design, and an all-features-in-one price (you know, just price CellNetworkFinderandRadar itself—don’t charge for each feature) would make this an acceptable and useful app.
I would pay for an app like this if it were better put together and not a scam like it’s being run.
Total Fraud! Avoid AT ALL COST!!!!

by ScatterNoise
CellNetworkFinderandRadar is a total scam and should be removed from the store. I don’t mind supporting a developer and proceeded to pay for all the in app add-ons only to discover you don’t own that feature forever. You must pay every time to use it. There is no mention of warning of any kind that alerts you to this. On top of that, the “features” are so buggy they fail. If you wanna try again, well that’s another charge. I never even got to verify or use the data CellNetworkFinderandRadar supposedly offers because it was too buggy. Don’t support developers like this. They give the good ones a bad name. APPLE - PLEASE REMOVE THIS JOKE OF AN APP.
Apple allows this fraud?

I bought my first hand held GPS in the late 1980s and used it in Somalia when on the ground. It told me everything I needed to no about locations I needed to find or identify BUT fast forward to 2019 and this worthless app can’t find old or new cell phone towers, even when you drive up to them and are less than 100 feet away.
In short, this developer somehow found his way past the “Apple Fraud Team” but you can bypass this scam artist and avoid buying CellNetworkFinderandRadar and getting asked for more money to hopefully make it “sort of” work.
Read all the one star reviews here (and there’s plenty to choose from) and they speak the truth about this worthless app.
Every time you try to do something with CellNetworkFinderandRadar, they try to charge you a dollar for it. No; not a dollar to turn on the feature, like most apps do... another dollar EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU USE THE FEATURE.
Don’t want to pay for individual uses of each feature? Pay $9.99 to turn them all on. No, not $9.99 once to buy all the features... $9.99 EVERY SINGLE MONTH, over and over and over again.
This greedy developer is crazy if they think CellNetworkFinderandRadar is worth more than maybe a single $1.99 purchase at most. No way you s it worth paying through the nose like they want.
Nice but flawed
2024-12-16
by Rich9454a
I have same issue as the previous reviewer but 6 months later - so nothing has been fixed. Purchases for an upgrade are repeated over and over. The geocode location upgrade is no where to be found. Maybe it’s only in the subscription upgrade, but then why say it’s an option? It is very important to me to be able to see all service providers because I want to change due to poor coverage by my current service. But Verizon towers do not appear on the map. Sprint, TMobile and ATT do. Very flawed product, beautiful UI. Wish the dev would get it all fixed
Extremely Aggravating advertising
2024-12-16
by Jarredkp
I want to like CellNetworkFinderandRadar. It seems to have good information, but it is nearly import find due to the advertising. Every time you touch the screen another pop up happens. It makes it very hard to test CellNetworkFinderandRadar to see if it is worth the extra money for the features.
It would be great if it let you find local towers without ads and then tempted you with upgrading to get the information or extra features.
Make it more functional for testing and I may upgrade.
Are there better mobile tower apps?
2024-12-16
by Newtown Pippin
CellNetworkFinderandRadar is very slow to display its data, even when connected with 4 bars of LTE. I question its accuracy because sometimes I drive to the location it indicates a tower is yet none is there. Aesthetically, it has room for improvement — a simpler, cleaner interface without tacky animations would be preferable. I understand that the publisher is trying to upsell the user to the paid version but (tasteful) advertising would be better than nagware.
Misses
2024-12-16
by Gerharf
Ok app but it appears to miss towers, along the highway for example, and here it misses rooftop cell sites. Anytime you want to look at a site they ask for more money. Look at it but don't spend any in-app money. However, I just pushed refresh and it suddenly showed a lot more cell sites. Doesn't show more than a few Sprint sites.
CellNetworkFinderandRadar has cantankerous moments, but it has been decidedly helpful. We have a wireless home phone/internet system that depends on good RF broadband. By using two external antennas, aimed based on the apps identification of active towers for our carrier, we have improved the signal significantly. We dropped our DSL service. Additionally, while traveling in different states, CellNetworkFinderandRadar has been useful to identify tower locations and thereby help us decide when or where to accomplish tasks that are slowed by poor signal strength; for example, sending photos.
Awesome

by Google Search Search
So I have been useing CellNetworkFinderandRadar for quite a long time now, since 2014, and it's pretty good just say it's awesome. It's also good because you can browse for towers like Verizon or anywhere. Also, the ability for you to be notified when you towers are added or awesome, so you know when new towers have been added by notification. I also like how it tells you how many towers there are wherever you are at.
