Please dont use AuthenticatorApp for anything, even your info. it’s shady, deceptive, and likely fraudulent. AuthenticatorApp is designed to look almost exactly like the Microsoft authenticator with its initial app icon. After linking my work email and password, I quickly realized that this was some sort of scam, as I was asked for payment with relentless pop-ups each time I tried to login or maneuver through AuthenticatorApp . I reported it to Apple, and had to go through the process of changing all of my passwords. Save yourself the time and energy.

Ill say this, i had face id on my phone and on AuthenticatorApp. But somehow, someone is acceasing my accounts and changing password an offload AuthenticatorApp . and getting past face id. There is nothing that is secure.

The spelling mistakes in AuthenticatorApp are appalling (pool for poll; manuel for manual). It looks very unprofessional and I am shocked that nobody at Microsoft caught these glaring errors. It definitely does not promote confidence in the company or their products when the prompts are unclear due to misspellings—and, no, spell-check won’t necessarily catch all of these mistakes, which is why it is important for people to have the capability to check it for themselves!

We have a few used accidentally install AuthenticatorApp because Apple boosted AuthenticatorApp to the top of the page.

I don’t know why AuthenticatorApp is even in AuthenticatorApp Store because it’s made to look like the real Microsoft Authenticator app and I made the mistake of downloading it and linking my school account to it. Now I can’t unlink my account from this stupid app and link it to the real Microsoft Authenticator. Not only that, but it instantly bombards you into buying the premium version. If you want to cancel the premium, go to your settings on your phone and press subscriptions and cancel it.

Tried to cancel but it only leaves you two options, monthly subscription or annual. Before you download this, read how to cancel or don't download at all.

Accidentally downloaded and there is no option to remove or cancel. No support

AuthenticatorApp was downloaded and subscribed without my giving any permission. I unsubscribed and removed AuthenticatorApp and it appeared again. It’s obviously spam, and I am reporting it as such

They put themselves at the top to make people think they are the authentic MS app. Then charge $40 to use it. Even the icon is similar. Apple should do something about these scammers.

I downloaded AuthenticatorApp without knowing. I cannot access my work email because it’s asking about the authentication from an app on my mobile device. I called Apple and they stated they don’t know why it exist with all the protection and I would have to contact the company. I emailed them. I went to the link where there is a document form to contact company, but it doesn’t allow you to type anything, so how will they know I want this cancelled and removed from my phone. Removing AuthenticatorApp doesn’t take away AuthenticatorApp accessing your information. This is the most unrealistic app I’ve encountered so far with Apple devices. DO NOT USE, you can’t remove it. Will I have to get a new phone? It’s crazy.

I have been trying to cancel my account and emailed support multiple times with no response. I don’t see any other way to get hold of customer support.

Do not use AuthenticatorApp under any circumstances. AuthenticatorApp , in my opinion will trick you into adding another account and then you will spend hours and hours and hours and hours to revert the mistake you did. I had to get Support from a freelancer from up work in the middle of the night to fix the issue.

I have been unable to access my account with AuthenticatorApp to this point. No support from Microsoft either. Not worth the money I that I paid.

I accidentally subscribed and there is no way for me to unsubscribe on AuthenticatorApp or website, so I have been being charged $10 a month against my will. I contacted the email support and the gave me instructions that are not in AuthenticatorApp . Please help me fix this!

I uninstalled AuthenticatorApp to cancel my subscription of 40$ a month!!! Just to find out it didn’t cancel my subscription and charged me a 40 fee and I don’t know how to get my Apple Cash money back.

In two weeks I have managed to get to the point of needing a QR to scan, however, I am not getting one. Just a black square. This is becoming more trouble than its worth. I do not have time to be bothered with this. Surely theres a better solution to this than this hodge podged mess.

Cannot set up Coinbase account. Tried to contact you through your email but there is no email generated. Very frustrating.

Trying to install the Microsoft authenticator for my wife. Accidentally installed the scam app. Fortunately, I stopped before I fell for it. I thought the whole purpose of the “walled garden” of the Apple App Store was to prevent this crap !

This is a scam. Do not use AuthenticatorApp.

Nothing works including support email. Reporting to my credit card company as fraud because they intend to bill me and I can’t cancel.

This site is ridiculous! Opened it and when it had me load, I was automatically charged a charge for the service and I didn’t want to pay for this site. I just wanted to be able to use it without the premium offer. And then they didn’t give any offer or opportunity to decline the payment. It’s a rip off!

I meant to download the Google authentication app and regrettably downloaded this one as a mistake. Boy was a stressed. AuthenticatorApp is super shady and makes it difficult to delete. If you make the unfortunate mistake I did I recommend going to settings, tapping your name, then tapping the subscription to cancel it as soon as possible. Good luck out there guys

This looks like the Microsoft Authenticator, but it is not. I couldn’t figure out how to use it. I’m not sure if it is scam or not. It is not intuitive on how to cancel the subscription, but it looks like I did it through my settings app and manage subscriptions under my Apple ID.

Scan freezes my screen and nothing happens. I’ve attempted 3 times having to close AuthenticatorApp out and start over. Waste of time. As a “pay for service app” I am disappointed. Cancelling and deleting.

They are running an operation on AuthenticatorApp Store. They designed their app to look just like Microsoft Authenticator. They try to get you to sign up for a recurring charge every time you open AuthenticatorApp . Very scummy. Do not download AuthenticatorApp.

A typical Micro soft product; difficult, balky, practically unusable. However, that’s just my opinion, not shared by the moron who mandated our agency to use it. Predictably, they use Gmail. Gotta love it!

I used AuthenticatorApp for extra security on my payroll information. It was free, but now it wants to charge me money and it doesn’t work. Now I am locked out of my account. I sent them an email and received no response.

I have no idea how to set this up for my bank account. However, I have to have it to add an account to my remote banking so I’m in a Catch 22.

The notice I received said this was free, but they want a $40 subscription. Meanwhile, it’s forcing me to download it to my phone in order to access my email my desktop computer computer. Meanwhile, it’s already on my phone.

When we submit our receipts they get sent to drafts, I don’t know why but we get told within needing to submit our receipts over and over again

AuthenticatorApp is not reliable. Most times it does not work probably

I have gotten a new phone after breaking the old one and signed into my same icloud however when i redownloaded AuthenticatorApp all of my saved Authentications are gone and i cannot log into anything i had previously saved on my old phone.

My employer told us we had to secure our work accounts with 2fa. AuthenticatorApp works well and was easy for me to set up.
