iStreets - Google Street View™ Reviews

Okay, so if I could, I’d give this 0 stars. It COMPLETELY lies in the images of iStreets on iStreets Store. The first and third. The first one, it shows that you can pretend to walk around the streets of whatever street you desire (WITHOUT PAYING TO LOOK UP A LOCATION) . You can see people, buildings, etc. In the third, it shows a bunch of color, like green for greenery and forests around the area for example. But guess what?? Nope. Not at all. I was trying to look up my school for location and it tried to make me pay for it. RIDICULOUS. I couldn’t zoom in on the streets, and this “subscription” is unbelievably ridiculous and annoying. I would call this review’s title “BAD” because it’s only the truth. Thank you for reading this and I hope they discontinue lying and ripping off people just because they want money 💶.

I’m young and I try to find apps like these to help with my states for school then I found this one I saw the pictures and decided to down load it it looked cool until I hit the search bar and it said you had to pay for it and the price is high I wouldn’t download this unless you desperately need it

this app should be ashamed of themselves for selling an app to users like me with the promise of full functionality forever and then suddenly taking away my rights to use it. Now they want the money I paid for the usage of iStreets not just once more but every month.
What ever happened to honesty. I should have been grandfathered in. I heard that is what they were planning on doing. I think they changed their minds because the cost of iStreets is too expensive and no one hardly is paying to use iStreets now.

You can not use this without paying a monthly to yearly fee. To me, Google Earth or many other free apps do just as good a job. It has a feature similar to yelp, but I would rather use yelp. If u have money oozing out of your pores, it might be something to look at and see if it is worth it for u, but being that I don’t have money oozing out of any orifice in my body, I don’t think that I’ll be paying a monthly fee for something I can already get for free.

Looking at my own home and the changes it underwent, the views are at least 3 to 4 years old - Of course we had the pandemic .... but it is now time for everything to be refreshed as we start a new chapter! Go for it Google!

Great app, just wish it was free

So I can't get many games because my ios won't update anymore it's stuck at 9.3.5 and I was like sweet a maps that works except when I got it you had to pay for EVERYTHING you had to buy a subscription to look up places and also buy a subscription to just put down the person! So if your looking for a good free maps DO NOT CHOOSE THIS ONE ITS NOT FREE.

This is the classic bait and bam pay the subscription or do without; I wouldn’t have downloaded this in the first place if they had charged a fee;
Too bad, it was quite useful to actually see where you are going, rather than relying solely on gps. If you are a visual oriented person like me, it was great; but not at the price they want. I deleted it. I can ask “Is this the place” for free....

Previous purchasers are supposed to be grandfathered. You are allowed to add new and extra features available only to new subscribers, but you are not allowed to take away features that original users had. You did exactly that. If you remedy this situation soon I will update this review, but if not I will be reporting iStreets to Apple for violating its policy.

The pictures are hi-def! I live in a private court. They came in and took a shot of the whole court. Way cool. Trying to figure out exactly when it was taken.

About a week ago I paid $2.99 for iStreets. Now, just out of the blue, I cannot use iStreets any longer despite having paid for it!! I have to pay a monthly subscription of $2.99!! Where is my money?? Total rip-off. Stay away from this crap.

I've had iStreets for quite awhile, really enjoy it. It's fast, easy to use and a great add-on for Google Maps!

Advertised as free for today but the moment you try to use the street view ( only reason I downloaded) it asks you to pay to unlock full functionality. More like unlock for the only feature you wanted. Total clickbait. I will be deleting.

I’m not paying even a two month old can do better than this it’s probably those teenagers that think they can make a bunch money On an app And think people are dumb

I couldn't believe that IStreet, after using for years, suddenly ceased working in any capacity, so after I deleted and reloaded, ......unknowingly the $updated$version......
which was 100% useless......

unless I agreed to PAY for a subscription.
GREED.

It's that type of highway robbery tactics and filthy greed that absolutely disgusts me.

Thankfully other street apps perform the exact same way...even with ads that I NEVER look at..as I'm only on less than a minute.

You could drag down the little person for free and you just didn’t have to buy premium.I think that’s stupid.l don’t recommend.
I wish I could rate this zero stars.

Can not see half of street view when using that mode. Can not use app support with out signing in to that Facebook crap. I guess developer don’t use iStreets.

I’ve enjoyed using street view to revisit places I’ve been over the years, here in the States and Italy. But with it free on a desktop/laptop browser, I’m not paying for a subscription.

I don’t like iStreets I’m nine years old and I don’t have any money for a trail and this is not the real deal😕 so I don’t recommend sorry that I don’t like it but I still hope you can do better next time.

Photo of input addresses are close but not spot on. Maybe a close intersection, maybe a house across the street, maybe not even close to the address. This has lots of problems. Good idea but poorly executed.
