It’s not opening and I can’t delete it either!

As a new Taylor County resident, I was hoping to find a news app to keep me up to date here in my new community. What I get with KTABKRBCNews is loud, obnoxious ads, most with no way to silence them other than closing KTABKRBCNews . Not sure how others are able to overlook this anti-feature - deleting this wholly insufferable app today in favor of KTXS 12abc News.

Not sure what was done or if the iOS update is no longer compatible but KTABKRBCNews just crashes when trying to read news items.

Last update really messed up app. Doesn’t transition from one story to another. Links on bottom of story to you to top of page instead to different story. It’s so bad I’m about ready to delete app.

Ever since the update, the videos don’t work any more. They become “snowy” like old black & white TV’s of the past with the message “a playback error has occurred.” This needs to be fixed.

Are the stories only updated Monday-Friday? They seem to never change over the weekend.

I like the content and the up-to-date notifications. My only complaint is the lack of proofreading and editing of the articles. Don't be in such a hurry to get the articles out that you don't take time to do that extra, but very important step!
It tends to distract from the newsworthiness of the piece.
There are seriously many of us readers who are educators, top-notch paper writers who edit articles, emails, papers, projects, presentations, etc. on a daily basis. I can't speak for everyone, but I would be glad to help for little to nothing.

Use it all the time.

Layout, content and functionality of this latest version represent a vast improvement over earlier versions. Spelling and grammar still need work. Postings occasionally appear rushed or sloppy.

What is there is usually informative, but a lot is missing. Coverage of the Hanley fire was abysmal. But sometimes there are things the other news outlets don’t have at all, such as the big oil theft at Nolan last year.

The very recent, latest version is a huge improvement and is much more thought out & useful. There are still small errors such as spelling and in some details, such as referring to Winters Freeway as "the interstate"

Keeps me up on the activities, where I should, and shouldn’t be.

This is my “ WHAT’S HAPPENING NOW” app!!! ALWAYS up to date on the LATEST news in & around Abilene !!! THANK YOU BCR!!!

Love the local news just wish they updated over the weekend and covered a little more often on Eastland County. Good job otherwise
