Hello there,
For anyone who’s reading this including the developers of this app. Instead of using the desktop version of this app on my computer it feels flexible, and adaptable for me. Because using this app allows me to switch to the desktop version on my computer, and the iOS version on my iPad as long I update Moodle .

I don’t have much to share regarding Moodle for students, staff members, and instructors. It’s been helping me to succeed in my courses, and studies. Unfortunately, I won’t share as much details I won’t bore you with. I failed few classes not because of only procrastination, and few other reasons. I’m wishing parents to stop assuming kids or the younger generation to be on their phones, and computers. I don’t appreciate complaining. Anyways, it was a great app to access and check on any updates, announcements, and changes to assignments I am going to do next, or currently going to work on.

I use Moodle far more than the actual website and it enables me to do 90% of my work from my phone. After learning a few tricks, I’m able to type my essays and assignments, save them as word documents and submit them (so far) with no issue. The only thing that is a little annoying is that I have to login to the actual website for discussions when the teacher uses specific plugins not supported by Moodle . But it makes online education a lot more straight forward and I highly recommend schools to use this

I’ve been using Moodle version of this app for about a year with very few problems, but within this past month I have had a lot more than I normally would. At first I thought it was just my account or my device that was the problem, but a few of my classmates have had the same issues.

Often when I try to click a link in Moodle , Moodle does not respond. It also takes me back to my login screen and forces me to log back in wayyy more often than it used to. It does this even if I’m actively using Moodle .

I hate to give Moodle such a low rating, but I hope this review catches the developers’ attention so that these issues can be resolved. Thank you!

Moodle may sometimes not allow you to see files, or upload them to your college courses, but it always gets the job done. I high recommend downloading it and setting up with your colleges’ this app server it’s gonna be a real life savior if you’re like me. I always upload all my works to OneDrive, so all I have to do is give it access on The files app, and I can manage all of my files in one app in case in tuning late and must upload an assignment real fast.

Love to have Moodle, which makes working on an iPad for school so much easier. I’ve been using Moodle for years and they’ve made many improvements. Very happy to see split screen now work (this is so important). I wish in file uploads, it didn’t have “shared file” and “file” (this is a bit confusing) but nonetheless, being able to upload my homework from my iPad is a huge convenience. Very satisfied with Moodle and looking forward to see what improvements they continue to make.

I am a new user and thoroughly enjoying Moodle for my online class (ITTF). Most of the handouts print easily; however, when I try to print my submissions, I run into more difficulties. I have learned to force my printer not to print the last pages (with the dark background) so as not to unnecessarily use my toner.

It would be wonderful to have access to a blank page to record questions, insights, and journal entries that could also be printed after each week’s lessons.

So, I have been using Moodle ever since I started college. It helped a lot since Moodle had the courses and everything you need to participate in classes. Since the iPhone recently got an update for home widgets, I was wondering if this app will have as well? I’m really looking forward to that update one day since it has been over 4 months since the last update.

Moodle is a simple school program that helps me easily check my assignments and schedules. I don’t need to log in every time and I think that is the most useful thing of Moodle. Also, I don’t need to use WiFi to check some assignments and calendar that I already opened before. Some programs such as Cengage assignment page won’t open through Moodle , but it does not matter because I can always open that with safari or chrome app.

The format of this app is very simple and straight to the point. There’s no need to dig deep to find what you’re looking for. When a good professor that understands entirely Moodle prepares their class it’s noticeable. Some professors are new to the platform but since it’s simple enough it’s not imposible for the students to sumbit assigments or tests.
I wish the size of the letters could be edited when taking tests because I find it very small.

What is the point of asking for a review while the user is submitting an assignment or test?? It’s not even funny the amount of times this has happened while time is limited for the submission of tests and additionally they have the step of marking if you’re sure you want to post that document after you posted it. Sometimes even letting you think the work has been submitted only to sign in later and for the program to say you’re hours late for delivering the work when you submitted it in time. Submit means submit not draft. When I hit the yes I want to submit button it doesn’t mean oh I'm not so sure about this.

It seems fine most of the time, but there are some issues. The first is that at times when I scroll down, the screen starts to spaz out. This happens at random times on any page. I strongly dislike the fact that my downloaded documents can only be opened via this app whereas before I could open it without issue. Good overall

I’ve used the this app app for all of college since I do not use a computer but rather an IPad+keyboard combo. Suddenly now every time I login, I get a login error and Moodle refuses to load. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and the problem is still there. I can login from my browser but the this app app had the great advantages over the browser. From the this app app you could send documents/pdfs straight to OneNote and just print the pdf in OneNote. Now when I go to the web browser and try to print to OneNote it only prints as a url to the OneNote page. PLEASE FIX THE LOGIN ISSUES!!!

Moodle is overall great 😊 but it does lack of some adicional features I mean I really don’t know what but I think it would be really cool if you had different things you could in Moodle that you can’t do on the website buttt I love the new progress bar for each course it helps keep track of all my activities

Overall, great app. I do have an issue with the lack of notifications. I can put some reminders and activate them but for some reasons I don’t get some notifications. I’ve checked my notifications configuration to see if I’m the one who doesn’t have it on, but it’s not like that. Everything else works perfectly fine.

Since this program was made easier and better for students, I no longer have to create accounts for myself on several social networks and do not know where to get the booklets.

It needs better accessibility, a way to see your classes in the main screen with out having to search for them, easier way to upload files etc. Should be easier & more accessible to use, more user friendly. Regardless I do enjoy being able to turn in assignments from my phone because I do not always have access to a computer.

I wish my school would use a different platform. So many bugs! I can’t even scroll up and down without the screen glitching out. It doesn’t matter what device I’m on, the screen glitches back-and-forth just from scrolling, and I’m on The latest version after the supposed “bug fixes.” This is just one example, there are many others too! like how I couldn’t even see my text as I was trying to write feedback for the developers.

Moodle was great and then it stopped working with my school and well now I’m out! I don’t know what they did to Moodle but it is a pain and I wish they would fix it this was a great way for me to do homework and be on the go with my kids as I do schooling online. And having this from my phone was way easier then logging into my browser and now I don’t have it and it makes it harder for me to do school work on the go! Also we do use this app on our school portal so I don’t understand why the apps are not working FIX IT!

this app works out great. I can get my work done and submit it to my teacher in just a few minutes. Only thing I am wondering is why the letters on my work show up tini tiny on my teachers screen when she receives my work. Probably just a bug but it still gets to hr and that’s what matters. Overall, five stars for this app.

Love this app! The way that you register your login is pretty weird but other than that it is 100% functional. It could look a little nicer, but otherwise it performs perfectly. I've never had a glitch or bug, and Moodle is easy to use for college classes.

Moodle -and the this app platform- overall just needs a lot of work. It’s extremely unorganized, annoying, and there always seems to be something wrong with it. I don’t understand why professors in this state won’t adopt blackboard! Why are they (we) settling for trash like this that barely works?! There’s just too many things that are wrong with this app to even think of one thing right.

The layout on the mobile app makes navigating it pretty easy, my only complaint is that when you exit a class it asks “are you sure you want to return to dashboard?” Which I think is unnecessary. What is EXTREMELY annoying is that when I’m scrolling through my classes Moodle is so sensitive that it’ll open the first class I touch even though I’m scrolling. If I have to scroll to a class that I haven’t opened in a while this app will open up 3 more classes before I am able to open the one I want because it is so sensitive. I have never had this problem with any other app, and I use this app on both my iPhone and iPad so I know it’s not my devices that are the problem. It’s also VERY laggy.

I used to LOVE Moodle last semester. Since it updated, I HATE it!!! I don’t like how i can’t go straight to my grades. Also, i don’t like how i have to select topics. It used to just be where I could scroll through my topics. I never know which tab things are under so it’s annoying to have to try and guess which tab to select. Please change it back! I even don’t like the site page it brings me to every time i open Moodle . It’s just not as functional as it used to be. Don’t think i want to use Moodle any longer.

Moodle makes it SO much easier to get to my coursework, message my teacher, and see my calendar of due dates than going through a web browser! I wish I would have downloaded this Day one of the semester. It would have saved me a lot of frustration.

Moodle is completely useless with it not working half the time. It’s a mess trying to turn work in through it or even check what assignments you have. It’s honestly just easier to use the website through the phone instead of this. This needs to be fix the layout and how you turn in a word document by having to go through the whole ordeal of putting it in your share files and then turning it in.

I use Moodle during class. Pull up the syllabus and other documents that the professors have recently uploaded... I see that I cannot upload my documents from my iPhone or iPad the more option is not properly executing to open up the files in the device.

The layout is getting better. Unfortunately there are a lot of unnecessary items taking up precious space that could be hidden behind a menu. Contact me I’ll let you know.

In the meantime, there are two major issues that need to be addressed
1. Being able to save and print descriptions of assignments. Save to files (iOS)/ AirPrint
2. Being able to send this app feedback.

I've used this app before but usually not as a mobile app. It's hard to access my courses and there's no menu on the left side as there is on the desktop setup. I literally end up having to go through the course catalog just to get to my course. I'm not super impressed

The navigation overhaul with this past update was a HUGE improvement. It is finally intuitive - I can get around without thinking and just get to where I need to go. Great work!!

I used to be able to see which courses I was taking on the homepage of the website I was using now it only shows search courses or courses categories. This just makes me have to go search my courses I can’t even save them so they can appear on the home screen.

Moodle makes it so easy to see my classes, know what I’ve seen and not seen, look at grades, contact my classmates, just keep up with school. I like it so much better than the website at school!!!

I wish there was a way to only view the classes I am currently taking. I ⭐️ them so the current classes pop up first but there’s like 20 other classes on there too that I have taken before. Also problems with glitches.

I love Moodle. It makes it so easy to take care of assignments like, keel up with grades, etc. my only complaint is that it doesn’t take advantage of the full size of the iPad Pro 11” screen. It is simply booted off from Moodle version for the iPad Pro 10.5”. Please update this.

I appreciate how Moodle will give me an alert a hour before something is due. However I wish there was an update that allows us to receive an alert when our grade changes.

Our students are complaining the Moodle is difficult to use and in some cases they get booted out without warning. I know this app is a volunteer community but it looks like this version needed more QA.

It’s frustrating when they come to us and we have to tell them there’s nothing we can do.

Please address or roll back to the previous version.
