4 months agoTicket Code: NAUMLE Madrid/Barcelona Oct 19. 2023 This was a very bad and traumatic experience for me. I arrived at the Madrid train station at 09:30 AM and got in line for security baggage check. I showed the security guard the ticket with the information on my phone and she was very rude and abrupt and told me I needed a ticket. I tried to explain to her that this is my confirmation and ticket. She demanded that I get out the line as she couldn’t help me. I scrolled to ”downloading” and nothing was happening. I tried for several minutes and it wasn’t downloading. I went to the Renfe customer service office and had to take a number to be served. By this time, it was about 09:50 when my number was called and the agent said that he couldn’t help me because I didn’t book with Renfe. I missed my train to Barcelona. I was taking a cruise out Barcelona leaving 17:00. I had no alternative but to buy another train ticket with Renfe which cost $70.80 EUR. The first available was at 13:00, arriving at 15:30. I got the cruise terminal with no time to spare to board my cruise I am requesting a refund for this journey. Thank you, Eugene Gonsalves image1.jpeg
