My baby is 8 months old amd was trying to find activities near me. I couldn’t get it to suggest things age appropriate and instead found soccer classes and all sorts of other things for children, not babies. When I searched baby swim classes I got clothing stores. Absolutely useless

Couldn’t get past the “Location Settings” page of the signup. Clicking “I Understand” did nothing and there’s no way to go back or forward from there.

Doesn’t allow to get past location. Try to click understand and nothing happens.

App gets stuck on adding children.

MommyNearest won’t let me finish signup

Does not work.

I am getting stuck in a loop where MommyNearest says I can’t reset my password because it can’t find my email address then when I try to create an account it says my email address is already in the database. I’ve also tried login wirh Facebook and it get an error saying MommyNearest is in development mode and I don’t have access :(

I love the idea - as a New Yorker out and about, locating changing tables or other needed amenities is needed.
- make the map bigger (make the list collapse)
- when adding a space why can't I just click it's features to make it searchable? If I'm at a restaurant and find it has a changing table I want to add that to the map for other moms but can't - I can just add a place with text. It doesn't show up in the search

MommyNearest gets stuck in location settings of setup and will not go any farther.

Great user interface, love the way they broke down categories and kept the map in view to give the user perspective on locations relative to your own position. Each category covers essential things each parent needs when out and about (changing tables, baby stores, baby friendly restaurants, etc.).

However, MommyNearest has major holes in its listing of places for each category. Not just little boutiques either, but basic big stores like rite aid and CVS were missing from my neighborhood, along with my local pediatrician and baby store. I live in a pretty baby-populated area in Brooklyn, so I was surprised it didn't cover more.

That said, for a pretty new app, it works without bugs and does list a decent amount of locations per category.

I hope they add a function where the user can add a location (to either be verified by other users or whoever monitors MommyNearest ).

Great app. Very helpful for finding things to do with little ones. One thing I think the creators should add that isn’t available, at least to my knowledge, is WIC accepting stores. This would be very convenient for low income family, like myself. This would make an already great app even better. Just a suggestion; I hope it’s taken into consideration.

Mommy Nearest is hands down the most resourceful, easy, and fun app to use for parents on the go or at home. I enjoy reading the daily editorial pieces that are both relevant to my child and entertaining! As a new mom in NYC, this app has provided great insight from where to shop for my daughter with new promotions to fun activities to do on the weekend. Thank you this app!!!

MommyNearest saves the day every time!! I love how easy it is to discover new places and things to do in our neighborhood and it is soooo useful when we go out of town and need to find a restaurant where we can take our little one (who is NOT easy to please). Their content is top notch as well, definitelt a must-have for a parent!

I learned about MommyNearest at MommyCon in San Jose and have LOVED it ever since! My family uses it when we travel to new cities - it's a life saver when you don't know what kind of places are near you that are appropriate for kids. We basically planned our whole trip around the restaurants, museums and parks that we found on MommyNearest. Have told all my friends about it!! Thanks Mommy Nearest!

Love using this when I am in parts of NYC I don't know to find kid friendly places - think changing rooms and stroller parking. I also have been using it to travel and find stuff for the kids in other cities / like finding places to eat in DC and Miami recently. Such a huge help and all parents should have as a resource.

I recently downloaded MommyNearest and just used it to find a restaurant to eat at with my kids in downtown Manhattan. It gave us great recommendations and I loved that I was able to find out ahead of time if the restaurant had high chairs! (We also used it later that day to find a bathroom in the area, which was extremely helpful.) I also enjoy reading the articles about local activities.

I first started using Mommy Nearest back home in LA, and as a mother of 3 kids under the age of 6, it has become my new best friend. We just recently took a family trip to NYC and MommyNearest continued to prove it's value! It was our saving grace as we used the locator guide almost daily to find places to eat, shop, and have fun along the way. This trip was for our kids, so it was nice to know and to be confident that we could find things that they would love. I applaud MommyNearest; thank you Mommy Nearest for making my mom duties easier!

I downloaded the LA version and it has all the indoor play gyms, kid museums, trampoline parks, etc. I am sad that public playgrounds aren't included, it's so hard to find a good playground, but maybe in a future release users can add good playgrounds. I didn't take any stars away because they didn't intend for their app to find parks, I just think it would be helpful, more helpful than the parenting articles--these have a made the rounds on my Facebook feed already. I'd prefer to see highlights of reviews of nearby places, and of course PARKS!

I rely on MommyNearest to find me fun, interesting and safe places to take my children and it never disappoints. I find helpful reviews and discover entirely new places to bring my boy and girl. For example, I needed a place to bring my children for the day today when they were off from school and MommyNearest was able to find me a great play space close to my apt and a restaurant near the place that was easy to bring children to (stroller accessible, high chairs, changing tables)
