About My Baby Beat

Use My Baby Beat on the 3rd trimester of your pregnancy, as the baby gets bigger, and the fetal heartbeat sounds stronger and easier to find (best after 30 weeks).

“My Baby Beat” was the first app to pick up fetal heartbeat sounds using breakthrough technology.

It uses the microphone of your mobile device to pick up the sounds in the uterus and the fetal heartbeat.

Unlike a fetal doppler or fetal heartbeat monitors, My Baby Beat requires no special accessories.

My Baby's Beat offers excellent sound quality due to years of development and optimizations with countless raw audio recordings, analyzes, live testing and validation with pregnant women.

My Baby Beat is not a medical device, has not been reviewed by the FDA or other authorities, and is not intended as a replacement for medical advice of any kind.

Listen to the fetal sounds in the womb, hear the baby’s heart beats and record the heartbeat.

Enjoy a wonderful pregnancy experience that allows an exciting pick into your baby in the uterus.

It passively uses the device's internal microphone to pick up the sounds, therefore it is recommended for use in airplane mode.

A beautiful bonding experience that can be done at home, in a relaxed environment with just a mobile device and no other accessories needed.

For any medical questions or concerns regarding your pregnancy and your baby’s health, please consult with your doctor/midwife.

This is not true- this app is completely fake, there is a sound in the app not sure why, maybe to pretend that the woman is hearing the heart of her baby! Waste of money

This is a completely lie- I don’t believe I spend money with this and these fake comments- the app came with the sound it is not the sound from your belly

So good!

I have had MyBabyBeat downloaded since I was maybe 15 weeks pregnant. Since my placenta is in the back of my uterus, I have had no issues feeling my sweet baby boy move since 15 weeks or hearing his sweet little heart beat with this since 23 weeks. I am now 30 weeks and I can find his heart beat every day with this. It’s very good and I’m happy this is free because I didn’t want to spend $60 on a doppler. I totally recommend MyBabyBeat to any pregnant woman who wants to hear their sweet bub. I would suggest waiting until around 25 weeks to make sure you can actually can pick up the heart beat, but don’t be discouraged if you don’t at that point. MyBabyBeat suggests you wait until you’re between 30 and 40 weeks and I have had no difficulty finding his heart beat now that I am 30 weeks. Earlier it was a little bit difficult. Make sure you use airplane mode when you’re looking for the heart beat though and that you’re in a quiet room.

Worried in the middle of the night

I decided to purchase MyBabyBeat at 3 AM because I’ve been worried since the baby wasn’t moving. I was afraid I tore my placenta just the day before doing house chores. I’ve been worried all night and waiting to call my midwife in the morning. I decided download MyBabyBeat since it had pretty good reviews and I needed to get some peace of mind so I can go back to sleep and I actually heard the baby‘s heartbeat! And I feel him move around again because actually MyBabyBeat woke him up I think, lol. Definitely five stars for giving me peace of mind so I can go back to sleep now that I can hear the heartbeat and feel the baby move.

Update: From 5 to 2 stars

I initially thought this was the coolest app. Think about it, it lets you listen to your baby’s heart beat. But as the baby grows, it gets easier and easier to hear her/his heart beat. The reason I give this 2 stars is because the sound quality is terrible. Instead, if you’re in the upper 20 weeks and later, have your partner put his ear up to your tummy and listen for it. It’s possible you will be able to hear it with your own ears. And also try using the iPhone Voice Memos app and record it (butting the mic right against the body with mild pressure). You will be surprised what you hear through that app, especially through earphones. Of course it depends on how much body fat is on the mom’s body...

Enjoying this app

From the moment I found out I was pregnant I've wanted to listen to my baby's heartbeat. My husband talked me out of buying a Doppler because he said I would freak out if I couldn't find the heartbeat. I downloaded MyBabyBeat today hesitant to whether it would work and it took some patience but I found it in about 10 minutes. I may not always be that lucky but I like MyBabyBeat so far! I'm 19 weeks along. 5 dollars well spent even if it's the only time I get to hear it from home.

Downloaded for my pregnant daughter (32 weeks)

We love MyBabyBeat ! I downloaded it for her to try and it did indeed work ! Just the idea that we can finally save the recording is amazing !
(I also played around with it and saw that it was relatively easy to find my own heartbeat too)
But make sure to listen to the samples so that it's easier to understand what exactly your listening too and what sounds you're looking for..
Im pretty sure my daughter downloaded it on her phone too now 😜!

Awesome!

I’m at 28 weeks, and I was able to listen to my baby’s heart beat! You just need to follow the instructions (there’s a video). I also recommend you to listen to the sample sounds, just so that you would have an idea of what you are looking for. It doesn’t sound like the Doppler or your doctor’s fancy ultrasound, but you can definitely hear your baby’s heart ❤️. I love it!!

Definitely recommend

I am 10 weeks and still waiting on my first OB appointment. I thought $5 what the heck I’ll give it a shot! It works!!!!!!! I’m so excited but hope I don’t turn into a psycho listening 24/7. I recommend to all mamas! It is definitely worth the money!!! Just take a little time to get the hang of it. You got this!!

30 weeks -Don’t waist your money

Don’t waist your money. I purchased MyBabyBeat for the same reason as everyone else. I followed instructions, I've tried different locations, I’ve tried it on myself, my stomach, my husband, my pets and my niece and I get no heart beat from anyone. I know it’s only $5 but I want my money back...Very Disapointing.

Couldn’t hear anything

Was excited to try MyBabyBeat so I could use the recording to create a gift for my husband, but it hasn’t worked at all. I’m 34 weeks and baby’s kicking all the time! Have tried several times to pick up a heartbeat, did everything they recommended (took the case off the phone, full mic to bare belly, etc). Was never able to pick up any rhythm at all much less a clear heartbeat that I could record. Just did the update too but there was still only static. Can I please get my $5 back?

Doesn’t work for me

I see people saying how it works so well for them. I don’t know if they are apart of the development of MyBabyBeat or if they actually had luck with this thing. I’m about to be 39 weeks and giving birth on Monday and still can’t catch the heartbeat. She has been in the same spot for more than 2 months and I see exactly where they pick up her heartbeat it’s almost the exact same location everytime maybe centimeters difference but barely. Good luck with this, but I find it to be utterly useless.

Heartbeat at 11 weeks!

It took me a good 10-15 minutes, but I found my baby’s heartbeat at 11 weeks! Once I found the heartbeat, and got used to how to use MyBabyBeat , it has been a breeze to find baby’s heartbeat. It warms my family’s hearts to hear the heartbeat too and get to be a part of my pregnancy with me. Love, love love!

Placenta in front

Im 27 weeks now and I’ve had MyBabyBeat sense i was 12 weeks trying it once in a while hoping to hear my baby’s heartbeat, but after finding out my placenta is in-front of my baby i knew it would be very difficult to hear my baby on a app at least i can keep trying hopefully my placenta moves but i really recommend to get your ultrasound done and ask about your placenta before purchasing..

It worked!

I came across MyBabyBeat online and was a bit skeptical. Read a few reviews and decided to give it a try. It was really easy and exciting to be able to hear my baby’s heartbeat in the comfort of my own home!!

Need 0/5 stars

I downloaded and purchased MyBabyBeat early in my pregnancy and when I open it… it tells me It’s recommended for weeks 30-40. No I’m really far along and I should be expecting a baby within the next month or so and I still can’t get this thing to work. Cannot hear a heartbeat but I can literally see her kicking and I put it right there where she’s kicking at still will not give me the heartbeat. All it gives you is static. Do not recommend!!

Waste of money !!!!!!!!!

Don’t buy MyBabyBeat. It is a complete joke. I wish I would of just paid attention the reviews that advise not to buy it. But of course I wanted to try it for myself. Been having MyBabyBeat since the second trimester and i am now 36 weeks and it still do not work. I’ve tried everything, in a quiet room, took it out the case, and let it sit for minutes. Still nothing but the same staticky sound. Pls save your few dollars not worth it.
