🏷️ About: SecureAuth Authenticate is a mobile app that provides multi-factor authentication (MFA) for personal, work, or school apps and accounts. It generates 6-digit one-time passcodes/tokens (OTP codes) used commonly in two-factor authentication (2FA) flows. The app is designed to work with adaptive and passwordless authentication for cloud/SaaS and on-prem app single sign-on (SSO) scenarios.

Where is watch app?!

We have to use SecureAuthAuthenticate at work! Which means we have to take it from the pocket and log in to get the number which is annoying! There is nothing fancy about SecureAuthAuthenticate but gets the job done. SecureAuthAuthenticate has been around for few years but for whatever reason the developer hasn’t made an app for watch.
So one star for laziness!

I have a passcode enabled!

Recently SecureAuthAuthenticate told me that I need to use a passcode on my device in order to use SecureAuthAuthenticate , but I have a passcode and Face ID enabled. App is unusable for me now.

Watch App Not Working

Watch app does not work. When I hit “approve”, nothing happens and I have to login again and approve through my phone.

Cannot set password

There's no way to set a password on SecureAuthAuthenticate itself, and no setting to enable touch id or face id. In this respect, microsoft authhenticator is leaps ahead of SecureAuthAuthenticate.

Issues with Apple Watch integration

Frequently the Apple Watch portion doesn’t provide the ability to authorize a login when the request is pushed to the watch. Usually after going unused overnight. And for nearly a year now it won’t sync the account on my phone to the watch. I’ve reported this to SecureAuth and have gotten no response. It is great, when it works…

Watch app is broken

Says to open the phone app to sync but nothing happens. Also the send feedback link in SecureAuthAuthenticate does nothing so I couldn’t report it.

It works great until it doesn't

Never update SecureAuthAuthenticate. It will wipe out all of your associations. Customer service is not helpful. They state they will not assist end user.

App on Apple Watch fails to sync after updating watch OS.

Whenever I update the software on my watch series 3, it takes a long time before it will begin syncing the watch app to the phone app. Nothing I do seems to make it happen. One day it will finally start working but I have no idea why.

Needs Dark Mode

App works ok enough. Could really use a dark theme.

Removed lock screen approval

App works perfectly well. Wish they had not removed the ability to tap the notification from the lock screen and directly approve the request from there! The Microsoft authentication app still has this capability.

Watch Support Needed

Add watchOS support please! Great app otherwise

App works fine, iPhone 6 support would be nice

SecureAuthAuthenticate works fine, but it would be nice to see SecureAuthAuthenticate framework upgraded to support the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus screen resolutions.

Works well, but no Watch app

SecureAuthAuthenticate works well and I have not had any issues after nearly a year of use. The only reason I haven’t rated it 5 stars is because there is no companion app for the Apple Watch. It sure would be nice to get the passcode without having to pull the phone out of my pocket.

Works OK - home screen name is annoying

App does the job. It would be very helpful if SecureAuthAuthenticate name on the Home Screen was more descriptive than just being titled “Authenticate”

Great App

Convenient and simple to use.

Great App, not sure where the bad reviews are coming from!

Used SecureAuthAuthenticate for a while now with NO issues. Speed is great and works for both the push and OTP as expected.

Great improvement! Better look and feel

A much better experience and easier to navigate!

We use it every day

Due disclosure, I am a SecureAuth employee. We use our own product, of course, and that means using SecureAuthAuthenticate for authentication. It works great, and gets the job done! Since I use it constantly, I've had the chance to stress test it, and it hasn't let me down.

Simple to use

We just set SecureAuthAuthenticate up today. It was extremely simple to do.

Great update!

Much easier to use, excellent interface

Where is the watch app

So I use SecureAuthAuthenticate to get codes fairly often and it does what its supposed to. However when you have to take the phone out of the pocket all day, it’s annoying. A phone app solves the problem

Finally, a better version!

Great update! Such a vast improvement from the last version. It no longer requires me to re enroll every time I connect to different environments and I can finally use strong authentication for multiple sites!
