BeFrugal Cash Back & Coupons Reviews

I think BeFrugalCashBackCoupons is a fluke. I haven’t got my cash back yet ,it’s still pending. I asked how long it’s going to take and he talking bout you don’t get paid until we do. Ok what I don’t get is, there’s a lot of apps like this, but I get cash back fast. I’m new to Ebates and I got my 1st check in the mail before I got anything from BeFrugal 🤔 I mean it takes them this long to get paid but others faster🤔 obviously BeFrugalCashBackCoupons is a scam. That’s why BeFrugal ain’t getting paid and that’s why some of us is not getting paid on here. I signed up with BeFrugal the day I signed up with Ebates and now I’m 3 dollars away from getting my second check from them🤔 this seems sketchy and needs to be further looked in to and possibly shut down until fully investigated. I mean I could be getting cash back else where instead of wasting my time and money on money hungry scammers. How can I report BeFrugalCashBackCoupons?😡🤔anyways to the people who are writing good reviews are bots. Trust me I know all about reviewers because Im a professional reviewer investigator.🕵️🏻‍♀️

This is my first time ever leaving an angry app review. I don’t understand how BeFrugalCashBackCoupons has such high reviews. Not only are most retailers super strict about what qualifies, but if you return or exchange a single item on your order then the whole thing is retracted from BeFrugal. Not only that, but BeFrugal at one point told me that I had a verified, payable balance of $26 which i could’ve taken right then and there, but I tend to like accumulating funds. Yet a few weeks later I’ve suddenly lost that balance entirely, and well outside of the return policy of any store. i contacted support and they claimed that EVERY ORDER IVE EVER MADE WITH THIS SPECIFIC RETAILER WAS RETRACTED.
I know for a fact that some of the orders contained no returns or exchanges. I was too frustrated to continue with support, but the experience and the misleading rules are forcing me to never use BeFrugalCashBackCoupons again. I’ve never had this issue Ebates or Ibotta.

I always check the stores I frequent on these 3 cash back apps, more often than not BeFrugalCashBackCoupons pays better. Many of my favorite stores give 0 on the other apps and 4,7 or 10 percent back on BeFrugal.

When I get my cash back I have been talking it in Sephora gift cards as they pay 4% extra that way. I put in for my refund and in a day or two - bam! I have a Sephora gift card. I usually get about one a month and I decide when I want it versus waiting months for Rakuten!

I’ve already made my first cash out for about $34 that was only about four transactions. The only reason I didn’t give them a five is because if you don’t read the fine print on the cash back offers you most likely will not get cashback paid out to you because there are only certain items that qualify you for cash back but as long as you pay attention to the fine print it is very useful! I would definitely give a five star if you got cash back on any and everything you purchased from participating retailers.

It’s so great that Retailers are now using some advertising budget to fund Be Frugal and Ebates — money back for buying what you’re buying anyway. So simple to just go through site first. I use Ebates as well often checking which percentage is better. I was confused at first as Be Frugal doesn’t automatically send quarterly checks — found out once you have $25 or more verified and available you simply need to request payment.

They make you wait 90 days before they credit your account any money unlike ebates that credits it as soon as you earn it you just have to wait the period for it to be mailed or sent through paypal. We used this service on a city pass purchase to buy disneyland tickets in May and they barely got back to us and denied the cash back on grounds that we clicked an external link which is completely untrue. We used Befrugal because the rate was higher than other places but their customer service was incredibly unhelpful and their service completely useless and terrible. I do not recommend. Stick with ebates or retail me not. They provide the best service all around. BeFrugalCashBackCoupons is so slow and crashes sometimes and isn't as useful as the desktop site is.

I would not recommend BeFrugalCashBackCoupons. Even if they show a record of you ordering something through BeFrugalCashBackCoupons , they won’t honor the cash back if the store doesn’t pay them. Sorry, that’s ridiculous. What happens between you and the store isn’t my problem. You promise cash back if we order through your app. We hold up our end of the deal, you do not hold up yours. I could have used a different cash back app and gotten something back from my purchase; instead I used BeFrugalCashBackCoupons, where I was supposed to get 11% back, and got nothing because you don’t have things worked out properly with the stores you contract with. Very unprofessional. I’ve never had this problem with Ebates and I’ve been using them for years. Switching back immediately.

Update: the login with special characters has been fixed, per the below complaint. So good on them for a quick fix.

After I logged in, I was prompted to enable push notifications. I hit the button and BeFrugalCashBackCoupons crashed. I was not prompted again when I opened BeFrugalCashBackCoupons so I had to manually go to notifications to turn them on.

My login email has a special character that I use and have no issues with when logging into the website. BeFrugalCashBackCoupons says my email is invalid. Cannot use BeFrugalCashBackCoupons with my existing account.

I’m not sure why there are so many great reviews for BeFrugalCashBackCoupons but I have no intention of using it again beyond the first 3 purchases made at the beginning of December 2019. It is now late January and my cashback is still showing as verified and not payable. I use Ibotta and Rakuten and have been for years and I’ve never waited this long for cashback outside of travel cashback which they very clearly provide you with pending timeframes for- BeFrugalCashBackCoupons just leaves you wondering whether you will ever actually get your money or not. Boasting high % caught my eye and the high reviews brought me in but I will not use BeFrugalCashBackCoupons again. I’ll stick with the ones that I KNOW work and actually provide you with customer service and explanations / expectations.

BeFrugalCashBackCoupons has a horrendous time tracking purchases for cash back purposes. Further, they will state that certain companies don’t allow for “reviews” of missing cash back. When you attempt to reach out to them for help, they just copy and paste the company in question’s cash back terms rather than attempt to assist you.

If that sounds like it is up your alley, then by all means use BeFrugalCashBackCoupons. FWIW, they have now missed more of my cash back shopping trips than not, and I’ve only done like 8. If you want that kind of cash back tracking, have it. I’m sticking with Rakuten since they at least listen to customers and assist where needed.

BeFrugalCashBackCoupons is trash! I have multiple purchases recorded on BeFrugalCashBackCoupons but never for paid for them. I contacted help threw chat and they said i have to wait 24 hrs and if I don’t get the cash back I have to submit a ticket and they can’t help with anything past 60days. I literally have yet to get paid for any of my purchases dating back to February! So for the new people make sure you check your account every 24 hrs after a purchase and if you don’t get paid submit a ticket! So stupid, the other apps I use ( Ibotta, coupons) they give you money back instantly and I never have to double check my account !!!!

I found be frugal around the same time as Ebates (now Rakuten). Every time I shop I always get the better deals thru BeFrugal and payments are tracked and transferred quickly to my account. It just goes to show that side by side comparison BeFrugal isn’t about keeping the biggest margins for themselves. The customer really benefits by 50% I’ve seen in many cases if not the same savings. Thank you BeFrugal for being on my side.

I went through BeFrugal to get cash back on Expedia travel. I activated as stated, purchased, then submitted. I competed the travel, waited 60 days. Submitted an inquiry on why I have not received. I was still denied, stating they didn’t get commission and although I followed instructions too bad. I usually go through multiple cash back sites before deciding who i can get the most cash back. I will not be using BeFrugal anymore if companies other than then offer cash back for what I am looking for, despite it their site offers more. At least Rakuten and retail me not stands by their offer.

I appreciate the service but BeFrugalCashBackCoupons leaves much to be desired. Hit or miss, I have been unable to make changes to my cart while shopping through BeFrugalCashBackCoupons , slow loading and odd page layout once loaded. I have gone through the website in order to shop after having difficulty purchasing and browsing through BeFrugalCashBackCoupons , but now the purchases I made aren’t showing up in my cash back. When BeFrugalCashBackCoupons works with a website it’s smooth sailing, but that’s been about 50% of the time for me.

I love the deals that BeFrugal alerts me too. I’ve been using them about a mon5h or two and so far no problems. I like that they not only alert me to deals everywhere but they’re also a cash back app as well. They’re so many cash back apps it hard to generally have & use them all. But BeFrugal makes it a little easier for newbies like me.

BeFrugalCashBackCoupons sounds like it can really help with saving money. But I just downloaded it and it won’t even let me signup on BeFrugal. Connection efforts through Facebook fail as does the email method. And when I attempt to connect through my Google account I’m getting an error that it can’t gain a secure SSL connection???? If I can resolve this and use BeFrugalCashBackCoupons I’ll rate higher stars. Edit: later the same day I installed BeFrugalCashBackCoupons...now BeFrugalCashBackCoupons won’t even open. It crashes immediately. I’m on an iPhone 8 Special Edition so it’s not a cheap phone I’m using. I’ll undoubtedly just let BeFrugalCashBackCoupons stay for 30 days and my phone will uninstall it automatically for non-use

For now it’s a 5 because the cash back is not bad, but I will change my review if I don’t actually get my cash back. If I don’t, I will go back to Rakuten because I do get my cash back, almost $1000 in 1 year. I haven’t been able to cash out yet with BeFrugal so I will wait and see what happens. Fingers crossed that this is a good app.

I placed an order with a retailer and had to exchange some shirts for the correct size. BeFrugal cancelled my cash back and told me:

“If an order is modified as occurred in this case, the retailer may reverse cash back. To receive cash back on an order that must be modified, you will need to cancel or return the order in full before starting a new, separate order through your BeFrugal account.”

That’s a pretty poor policy since I didn’t cancel, return, or get a refund from this retailer in any way. And I’m not going to cancel a whole order and then resubmit it again, not sure who would. I suspect BeFrugal still got paid though...

This is hands down my favorite cash back for most of my shopping stores. They 99% of the time always have the highest cash back on all stores that compete on all cash back apps, I have never had a problem receiving my earnings.

Conveniently enough, BeFrugalCashBackCoupons always determines I don’t have enough money to be paid out because the “retailer” ends up denying BF their payment. Supposedly. They also make it impossible to find your shopping tickets via BeFrugalCashBackCoupons . I did just finally find them via the actual website. Since they never actually pay you money out, of course they can offer a higher percentage back. If I had gone through Ebates/Rakuten, I might have received “less,” but at least I would have received something! Because at present with BF, I have received nothing.

So happy with BeFrugalCashBackCoupons!!! So many complainers.... it’s a saving app - saving you money- so stop whining. I used to use Ibotta for everything, not anymore as practically everything I shop is on here with way more cash back PLUS coupons and other savings regardless if I’m shopping online or grabbing a bite to eat.
