There are no instructions given for using the camera. So even if you get the Green Screen portion to work properly there’s no way to activate the camera in order to use this product. This is a total waste of time, a rip off, and an exaggeration of use. Highly recommend that you save 10 bucks and buy a cuppa coffee instead of the stupid program.

Bought GreenScreener thinking it was a useful tool, it isn’t, don’t buy it. I want my $ back.

Green screen was set up, lit well by multiple lights, wrinkle free, and easily able to key out in Premiere... Yet GreenScreener wasn't able to find a consistent color.

The idea behind it was great and if it worked as described would have been very helpful. But nope.

So basically GreenScreener was a waste of $10. Congrats developer, you scammed me!

Love the simplicity and ease of use without having to bust out a meter or getting a monitor with waveform or false colors involved.

However it is not updated for iOS 11 and doesn’t even open now. Will update my review if it’s updated.

I am new at this, but GreenScreener did not help. There is no key or directions to tell me what the different colors mean, how to read and such. I had to find other people’s youtubes and then it still did not help entirely.
If I could, I would return. It was coming in yellow, yet when I did a test shot, it worked perfectly. Maybe needs a check up…

I have been looking for something like this my whole career (25 years as a gaffer). My light meter works, but its slow to check then change then check again. We set this up on the set today. I then had my guys adjust the lights until it was even. Fast and easy. The key was perfect. Thank you for making programs that work.

To give an app not designed to make videos a bad rating because it doesn't make videos simply reveals that you are, in fact, an idiot.

I love the one star reviewers' comments - "can't film with it or add any effects. Stupid app". Oh, you SO don't have a clue what GreenScreener is for. But professional videographers do and GreenScreener is brilliant. It takes all the guesswork out of chroma key, especially when I'm out in the field with a portable green screen. No more worrying about what I've got until I get back to the studio. Bravo!

Used it on a major green screen shoot over the weekend and it helped tremendously. I emailed the company that makes this a little while back to make sure this version was current and they told me if it’s on the Apple store it still works as it’s supposed to. GreenScreener helps make sure your green screen is evenly lit so you can pull a decent key from it. We used it in our green screen live stream and it worked extremely well.

I started working with chroma key projects a while back, bought this, fooled around with it a bit, but really didn't understand it.

I have since began to continue my work requiring green screen, took a deep breath, and watched the video a couple of times. I am trying to create a green screen in my bedroom...I have a very small house. Anyway, I was astonished, once I found out how to properly use it, how quickly I was able to get up and running with this. Lighting a green screen is really tricky in a small space, but I actually did it, created some proofs of concept, and now chroma key is not as daunting as it once was. I really honestly could not imagine trying to make a good chroma key without this app.

GreenScreener is the best thing that you can buy to make you able to do chromakeying right. It returned its money in minutes. Seriously, this is the best.

Please discard the reviews that say that it doesn't work. Those people did not read the description of the program. GreenScreener helps you in lighting your green screen, which is the most crucial thing that you need to do for a correct chromakey.

GreenScreener does not process video. It's clearly stated.

GreenScreener is for judging your lighting. As such, yes, if it's for professionals who need to say their screen in the best way possible.

I have done GS for years and never got results as good as when using GreenScreener. Thank you to the developers for making it. It gave me renewed enthusiasm in using green screen productions.

Absolutely love using GreenScreener. Extremely useful when setting up large chroma keys. Really missed using it, but now it has been updated and improved a bit.

GreenScreener does exactly what you need and makes the process a million times easier. I just started green screening. So this changes everything. Sorry to all you morons who didn’t do your research before purchasing. There’s a lot of scary dumb people in the world as you can tell by the one star reviews.

This is a professional light meter. It tells you where the hot spots are to adjust lighting.
That’s all, and it does it very well.

I used GreenScreener a lot until my upgrade to iOS 11 rendered it incompatible!

Very happy to see it updated for iOS 11 because it I helps tremendously in getting evenly lit green screens which leads to very easy and clean keys both in post (after effects, iMovie, etc) or real time! (Xsplit, open broadcaster, etc.)

To be clear this is a film makers setup tool. It is not for doing the filming/keying itself.

This is an app to help you perfectly light up your green screen, THAT’S ALL IT DOES. This does not do any video work. It’s just a tool to check luminance levels all over your green screen.

Ok, with that out of the way, GreenScreener is excellent. I would never try to set up a green screen without it, and would never shoot anything before having checked the green screen with this.

If you work with green screens then you know they should be lit evenly. This nifty tool shows over and under exposed areas. Boom.
