LibriVox Audio Books Status

I cant access the files. It says it is temporarily offline.

Will not play chapters continuously. Plus I have difficulty playing each chapter separately

I just got a galaxy z flip 4 and now everytime the screen switches off, so does librivox. Previously no problems at all in my Samsung galaxy s9. I've recreated all the settings to be the same.

Same problem as others note. Start a chapter from favorites and it stops after a minute or so, changing to the “recents” screen covered by the annoying window to “login to sync across all devices”. I DO NOT want to sync across all devices. I conjecture that this newly introduced bug is triggered by the programmer’s assumption that we all we all want to login. FIX IT please. Iphone 12 and iPad under 15.5.

Stories keep crashing after a few minutes of listening. When restarted the story goes back to the beginning again. Really impossible to use app any more.

Just got a new I-phone 13 and new earbuds. Now when listening to LibraVox, it keeps shutting off after a few minutes and I have to restart. it usually goes back to the beginning of the chapter--very annoying. Didn't have this trouble before with my I-phone 6. Help?

LibriVox audio books keep stopping. I have an iPhone. Any suggestions? I have to keep hitting play every few minutes and sometimes it keeps going back to the same spot.

Until about the past week, i enjoyed this app so much that i bought the LibriVox Pro for iOS, to use some of the additional features. Now, as many previous users have reported, it almost always stops playback on my iPad after no more than a couple of minutes. Frustrating glitch rendering the app almost impossible to use… :(

Started about 10 days ago. Just stops and quits after 4-10 minutes in. Also notice that piece I’m listening to disappears from my Recents list. Have to do search to get it back.

As others have said the iphone app keeps cutting out after about a minute. It seems to work with the phone's internal speaker but on bluetooth speaker it cuts out and also with wired headphones. Following recent update. Other audio apps work fine.

See above. This app has been working great for years, this new development is very tedious. Some books seem unaffected; others crash after a few minutes.

LibriVox app crashes. Just started doing this maybe 5 or 6 days ago. Will start to run for maybe a minute and then crashes.

LibriVox is not working anymore. It keeps stopping after a minute or two.

Been listening for years, but in the last week, the book will stop on its own after just a few minutes. Really annoying! :-(

iPhone 12 Pro, iOS 15.4.1. App plays audio as long as the screen is on but in sleep mode it always stops after a minute. Restarting the phone didn’t help. It was working yesterday but after an update it’s now crashing every time.

LibriVox keeps closing itself for no apparent reason. Have deleted the app and reloaded but has made no difference

the website works until you select a chapter to listen to then you get a message saying cannot load unsafe connection. same on mac, iphone, chrome and safari??
