I gave it a shot. Seemingly huge number of features, none of which are labeled and no onscreen guidance while using features. I tried to understand the way PhotoPhix is organized, but icons pop up and disappear without apparent logic, and I couldn’t figure out how to do simple things like “undo”. There’s a line of incredibly tiny icons that pop up from time to time that appear to be a history of what you did, but clicking on it didn’t seem to impact the current project. I gave up after a half hour and went to the web site. Nothing there. No tutorials, manuals, or shortcuts cheat sheets.
Unbelievably frustrating trying to figure out what the designer was thinking. It’s just another bloated, feature-jammed app that gives zero effort toward usability.
I’m willing to put in the effort to figure it out, but the developer needs to be willing to put in the effort to provide at least some direction.
As is, I’d never recommend it.

I use my iPad with a keyboard. Having an app that will not turn into landscape mode is a non-starter for me. Looks interesting, but not practical for my use.

I do photo editing all the time—for pleasure and for others—and I still needed my other apps to help with the pictures/colors/effects/etc.

Still, I enjoy a couple of the borders in particular, and the color selection is nice, but they really could definitely install a color wheel with slider for just-the-right-shade effect.
>I'm only keeping it as a backup app if I any find the right thing elsewhere.

Your personal response to my request and my review here is also very gracious of you and has definitely made such a good impression on this user, to say the least! I am so very surprised that you found me in another app that I use and made contact with me - who goes to all that trouble this day and age?! To anyone with any question as to whether PhotoPhix's devs are listening to you and reading your review, I can tell you, without a doubt and 200% certainty, they absolutely are!!!! I am not affiliated with these devs in any way whatsoever, and they truly sought me out in another app and contacted me! One of my other compatriots from PhotoPhix had sent them an email, but my name wasn't included in it - they just happened to find me on their own! I'm very impressed by their efforts and what they've done to fulfill our requests! I can definitely say any money is well spent on PhotoPhix, and I'd pay twice as much to get such great attentiveness! Thank you again, devs, for your fabulous hard work and attention to us little people! 😉

Love it. Please allow “drawing” and “editing” on the same photo without having to save it and then reload it. When I try to use “edit” after I have used “draw” , the editing is a mess. It does not work. So I save then reload the photo to edit.

2020 updated review: Just revisited this fun and creative app! Wide variety of options such as collages, shapes, text, border, filters, and fun clipart, to name a few. Some options are unique to this app, I’d never seen them before. Only thing I could ask for is landscape mode. Recommended!

I would've rated PhotoPhix a five star ; but, when I add a background to the college, then decide not to have one ,there's no feature to delete it . You must start over and clear your hard work.
I really love PhotoPhix but, I can't get over the fact ,I can't delete a background if I decide not to have one.

I always open new photo apps with a raised brow, but PhotoPhix gets the two brow's up award for being surprisingly GREAT! PhotoPhix also doubles as a memory booster as it allowed me to delete three other apps that I no longer need now to do the job that this one currently does better. Please keep up the great job it shows. I personal request that u receive a 30% increase in wages, thanks again!

Absolutely 5 stars...I download app after app and even google search to see if it can give me new ideas on which photo editing app I should try next and I have some good ones....but none of them are like this one....not a professional just someone with a lot of time and now I have found an app that takes all my time....great job....really good....you name it they have got it in there.....and if I'm not mistaken it's free.....absolutely can't beat that...
