I use the GoTalk app for some students I work with. The app is not letting me go to the HOME page to select EDIT. How do I troubleshoot this to go back to editing? I have turned the tablet off and back on. Closed the app and opened it back, but am still stuck in player mode.

How to fix Go Talk app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Go Talk app on iPhone
Update Go Talk app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Go Talk iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Go Talk on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Go Talk network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Go Talk Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Go Talk not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Go Talk App
1. On android, goto Settings » Go Talk » click [Force Stop]

Update Go Talk to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Go Talk App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Go Talk » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Go Talk.

Fix Go Talk unable to contact server/ Go Talk internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Go Talk » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Go Talk » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Go Talk
