I have a iPhone 12 Pro and I just updated it but not the app isn’t working and when I try looking for it on the App Store it’s not there.

Hi I have been using Kitsu (app) for a long time, I got a new iPhone 13 pro and when I backed my apps from the old iPhone to the new one, Kitsu was there but not downloaded. When I click on it it says “Unable to install Kitsu” “The app is no longer available on the app store” I really need it and I don’t want to use the website. So, please can you give me a solution ?

How to fix Kitsu app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Kitsu app on iPhone
Update Kitsu app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Kitsu iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Kitsu on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Kitsu network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Kitsu Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Kitsu not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Kitsu App
1. On android, goto Settings » Kitsu » click [Force Stop]

Update Kitsu to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Kitsu App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Kitsu » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Kitsu.

Fix Kitsu unable to contact server/ Kitsu internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Kitsu » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Kitsu » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Kitsu
