How is anyone to evaluate an app that doesn’t give you the chance to take a look of what they offer? Full of interruptions, ads, asking for reviews, blocking the view and forcing to pay for something you have no idea if it is worthy!!!

I feel deceived by HairZapp! When attempting to pull styles in a color that is close to my natural color I got a pop up stating that was available only by upgrading. So I went ahead with the upgrade labeled for private individuals, not a very expensive upgrade intended for professional stylists. But when I tried to again sort by color I wasn’t able to. Evidently that is a professional feature. I feel deliberately misled and ripped off.

Deleted without trying because I refuse to accept terms I can’t read. There’s no English option, and other reviews say it forces you to give access to camera rather than uploading your own photo.

Soon as I open HairZapp I am Required to except This long list of terms written in Dutch and other foreign languages except English. I was apprehensive but you weren’t allowed to proceed w/o it. But when it reverted back to English only it was too sketchy. Everything costs $

When I took a picture of myself to try on hairstyles. It would not let me adjust the outline to fit my face. I took several photos and tried to adjust it but it won’t work. I couldn’t try on hairstyles.

So I got HairZapp to test out a new look I wanted to try out. HairZapp didn’t have anything remotely close to what I wanted: a lob. All the hairstyles are extremely outdated and some of them I’m wondering what they were thinking when they downloaded them on HairZapp . That being said, the hairstyles were extremely realistic and I got the feel for what they would look like. If they put normal hairstyles on there, it would be 5/5 stars!

I think I would really love HairZapp, but I cant really tell. You have to take a photo of yourself in order to try on the hair styles but the position that you need to have your head (sightly sideways) is very difficult to obtain when taking a photo of yourself. Of course you could have someone take a photo, but that defeats the purpose; not to mention I want to see what the hairstyle looks like while looking straight at me. If this was corrected Id even be likely to purchase the “pro” version

This would be a great app if it didn't crash all the time. Or if when you reload HairZapp due to crashing you still got credit for the pro version after you paid for it the first time. It would be nice if you had more hair color options to change a hairstyle to also.

So I don’t speak German, but for some reason the terms of service for HairZapp are in that language. Now I do have a friend who is German, so the Terms of Service aren’t evil.

All I really learned from downloading HairZapp is I would have rocked a punk look in the 80’s if I wasn’t 5 when the decade ended.

It also reconfirmed what I already knew that I hate the “ I would like to speak to the manager” Karen haircut.

I only used the free version to try first. While it’s somewhat entertaining, the styles are so outdated it’s comical. If had saw something from this decade I might have been inclined to try the pay version. But If you’re like me and wanting to see if a modern style would look good before the big cut then don’t waste your time.

HairZapp was the easiest to use as far as getting your photo lined up so the hairstyle doesn’t look odd the way most apps do. I was loving it but then became disappointed when it seemed they only had outdated hairstyles. All of them were ugly lol%

Crashes too often and even tho everything seems pretty self explanatory, there’s either a bug with the picture taking part or you need to include a quick how to Best tip

That sums it up! The hairstylesLiterally look like someone who didn’t know how to cut hair just started chopping!They are uneven and I don’t even know if they could look like that in real life.

Looks real when you put your picture on there and try styles but no way to change hair color and the styles are horrible! Not current at all. HairZapp has much potential though!

I love HairZapp! The ONLY thing I would change is more color options. You can literally only see the style in the color example it comes in.

It works about as well as one might expect. The hairstyles are a bit dated and they favor straight hair.
Nonetheless, it is free and gets the job done.

Out of all the free hair apps in HairZapp Store, this one was the best. It's too bad it glitches so much and crashes HairZapp .

My family is having a lot of fun with HairZapp while getting ideas for our next hair appointment. There are many good styles to choose from. There is a bug, however, that makes the slider at the bottom disappear so the styles aren’t visible anymore. I can’t figure out how to make it show up again without deleting and reinstalling HairZapp again.

I would really like to see color be an option. Right now you pick a style and only see it on you in the color provided. It’s difficult to like a good style with the completely wrong color for me. Also, it’s very difficult to get a profile selfie. Lol on the plus sides, I love that it blurs the picture behind and around you so you can really focus on what your supposed to be looking at. And the sizing of the hair to face option works beautifully.

Like the header says, HairZapp has the best selection of haircuts that you might actually want. The ability to colorize your cuts is limited to non existent depending on the style, so don’t expect to change color much or to a shade of your preference. And it is very expensive to get the options with all the haircuts. My suggestion is to find a cut you want, within a month and take it to the hairdresser that month. Unless spending 10 a month for an app is reasonable to you.
Update: they've changed the pricing scale. I've tried other apps and I still like this one for styles the best, although there are styles I want to try on that aren't in HairZapp . The thing I would like the most is to share pictures on instagram, while the are other social media platforms you can share in, instagram isn't one of them. But the ad free version is much more affordable now. And if you can put up with ads you get the same number of hairstyles as the ad free version.

I deleted after about 4 minutes. There were too many ads popping up and while there were a lot of hairstyles, it wasn’t easy to sort through them quickly. HairZapp just requires more patience than I was willing to give. I was also annoyed the terms of service were only in German.

I love that HairZapp! It gives you so many different hairstyles current and retro. The possibilities are endless. Definitely makes you see what you look like with a different hairstyle instead of doing something drastic at the salon and not being happy and it’s too late to change. Now the only problem you have to worry about is hoping that the hairstylist can cut hair LOL.
The only thing I would change is the angle of the face it’s very hard to do a selfie and pose at that angle maybe you should update your software to detect your face.

Okay so I always hated pixie hair cuts. But as soon as I put one on I was like.. OMG I NEED A PIXIE HAIR CUT! The only thing that could use a little work is how you have to place your face so the hairstyle looks right. That’s a little thing you could fix if you have time. Anyways, if your reading comments to find out what this is about, HairZapp is the best I found in HairZapp Store! You can also see what others like on them! (That’s a great way to make sure nobody will make fun of you if you get your hair styled like that.) Enjoy HairZapp!
