As a stylist at a Supercuts, I have guests tell me that SupercutsHairSalonCheckin isn’t working MORE than when it is working. They either can’t find our location (never shows up on the map), or it wouldn’t allow them to check in at all, it’s never outside of business hours or during a wait longer than 45 minutes either so there’s no reason they should have this issue. I also think that the developers need to include more than just a haircut as a service selection for our guests. It is extremely frustrating when someone checks in and we see just a haircut on our end, come to find out they actually want a full head of highlights or any other time-consuming color service that we are not aware of and aren’t quoting a correct wait time for the in-store guests waiting. There’s a MASSIVE time difference between a haircut and a color service. If we see ahead of time that they are already planning to get color done, it allows us to see and quote a more accurate wait time. We’ve had this issue for as long as SupercutsHairSalonCheckin has been out and we constantly are being asked why we don’t have more service selection options. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!! FIX THIS ISSUE!!!! It is beyond frustrating. Half the time I don’t even recommend the guest to use SupercutsHairSalonCheckin because the wait times they are seeing are inaccurate half the time. I just tell them to call the store instead.

The appointment function is very difficult to understand. If I try to check in before I head to the salon there is often not a time slot for a longer amount of time than the wait says. Most of the time I just select the soonest time and then head to the salon anyway where they mention that I am early and then people who checked in after I checked in online are taken back for a haircut before I am. It is also confusing in that if I am 5 min late for that “appointment” I am put on the list again as if I am just checking in and people who arrive after me are taken back before me. I have sat angrily waiting for 30 to 45 min before when the initial wait on SupercutsHairSalonCheckin said 0 minutes! I have lived in other cities where great clips are nearby and used their app to check in and it is so simple. You just check in and then you have an hour to get to the salon and when you get their you are right in line where you would have been if you had been in the salon when you checked in. My suggestion would be to drop the appointment feature. Either way I am actively looking for a place nearby to go to because this has happened too many times.

I usually only write good reviews but there was no way I could today. Just awful. Apps not that great what’s the point of check in if you just get bumped over several times and when you say something they just ignore you. You can clearly see the number your name is and they keep calling others up that are after yours. Mind you they were walk ins that came in way after we got there!!!! Even had a lady that was a check in after our name and they still took her first. Again stated something nicely and they just rudely said we might get you next. The employees were rude to each other while acting like that in front of customers. Waited almost an hour more then what the expected wait time was given. Finally left without your crappy service and took my business elsewhere. NEVR EVER COMING BACK TO SUPER CUTS Again!!! That was the 2nd chance we gave and wow no surprise worst customer service. Again remind me why you even have check in? Never will we use Super Cuts app or services!!

I had heard I would need to set an appointment at my local shop due to COVID-19 and downloaded SupercutsHairSalonCheckin as this appeared to be the only way I could do this. No one answering phones. I have just spent an hour trying to figure out how to schedule appointment on SupercutsHairSalonCheckin and can’t find it. Is it down now? There are no explanations in SupercutsHairSalonCheckin where to go to schedule an appointment or notice that it can’t be done for some reason or until sometime because of the pandemic. The idea that I have to search around and do this tells you how poor SupercutsHairSalonCheckin is and/or updates to SupercutsHairSalonCheckin due to COVID-19. If this is your response to getting open and saving the business then it is clear you don’t care which is hard to understand or maybe SupercutsHairSalonCheckin service provider is the problem and should be fired. Get your act together!

I know the pandemic has disrupted everyone’s way of life on the planet but what is going on with Supercuts? Nowhere on your can I find a way to make and schedule an appointment. The chosen salon(s) don’t answer their phones. You can’t even leave a message. I thought, like other similar businesses, Supercuts was supposed to open May 26. Apparently not. No messages or updates on SupercutsHairSalonCheckin. Nothing on store windows. No one answering the phone - not even an updated message. Nothing! Horrible! Businesses screamed about needing to open and now given the opportunity to so (Massachusetts), and announcing they would - they’re still closed. No updates. Weeks to prepare. Still closed. Nothing. No info. Horrible. Buying a set of DIY clippers and giving myself haircuts. Probably will be just as good and a whole cheaper!

When you’re trying to book an appointment, it only lets you do it once the salon is open. This is quite difficult to do, especially if you want to go in first thing but don’t know if they’re available or not. Then once it opens and you try to book, sometimes after you go through filling out your information on a certain time slot, it will say “this slot is no longer available” which is annoying to be pushed back even more. I think SupercutsHairSalonCheckin is a great idea to book instead of calling in, but is quite difficult to book due to these reasons and you should be able to book without the salon being open.

SupercutsHairSalonCheckin is easy to use, you select a time and have the option to choose service. My only issue with app is that it does not allow you to chose the many services that Supercuts offers and the salon recommends you use SupercutsHairSalonCheckin especially for checking in. It limits you to just haircuts. If you want to use the highlights or hair-coloring service or any of the other services. I do not recommend using SupercutsHairSalonCheckin. Which is something that should be noted in SupercutsHairSalonCheckin or the developers should just spend a little more $ fixing SupercutsHairSalonCheckin . My recommendation to developer is to add more of the services to app. If you want a service that requires more stylist time then block time for stylist or recommend to book an appointment by phone. SupercutsHairSalonCheckin is too basic and misleading.

I like the concept of the online check in but it is frustrating that you cannot check in when you have a preferred stylist until their start time. It’s like a race against others. If your a few minutes off you may have to get a haircut over an hour later than you prefer. In the past I was able to schedule in advance if I called early based on the stlylists start time and availability.
You should be able to check in prior to a stylists start time based on their scheduled hours. Similar to tee times available for golf. I’ve been going to this same stylist for over 15 years and now for the firs time I’m thinking of going somewhere else.

This is one of the worst apps I have seen in a very long time! It’s too restrictive, won’t actually let you select, then keep your stylist! Too restrictive about selecting a date/time then it’s not really an appointment after you fight thru all the try’s you have to go through to actually do what you want to do!
I don’t know about anybody else, but I don’t have time for this & because I am VERY BUSY, I need to have appointments so I can put them on my calendar!!!!
AFTER THIS ATTEMPT TO SET UP A TIME TO GET A HAIRCUT I HAVE DECIDED THAT IF SUPERCUTS CONTINUES TO USE SupercutsHairSalonCheckin I WILL NO LONGER USE SUPERCUTS!!!!! And now, the absolute WORST, I can’t submit my input without choosing a name & have tried multiple times and get the message “name already taken, try again ARE YOU PEOPLE NUTS????????

I think it’s pretty ridiculous how I sign up for Supercuts and I receive these text messages stating that I get five dollars off because I come so frequently the lady that cut my hair was super sweet nice but I didn’t like the woman that she asked to help me read the text message so rude it’s only five dollars it’s not a big deal that’s the only reason why I ended up coming in I won’t be back at this location it’s so funny at other locations they’ll take it but this one wouldn’t.Why is it so hard for other women to show people respect I felt like she was really rude asked me where did I get that she doesn’t know who sent me that I don’t understand it could be anything it could be anyone like why would I try to scam you off of five dollars I just thought I was getting a deal don’t treat me like a child I’m a grown woman

I have been going to this store since I moved to melbourne in 2005
I checked the website this morning to find out if I needed to make an appointment. It said that the waiting time was about 10 minutes,I figured that I will go and wait. After 15 minutes of waiting,one of the employees asked me my name, I told her,she looked on her computer and said that I will have to wait for 1 hour at least to get my hair cut. I feel angry,I couldn’t understand why I had to wait 15 minutes for her to tell me that after she looked up my name in the computer. I can help wandering if it had something to do with my Hispanic name or what. They just lost a good customer and a good tipper too and I will tell all of my patients what happened so hopefully they will not go to any of the Supercuts store

I don’t know the ladies name, but she’s an older middle eastern woman (her ethnic background doesn’t matter, just the best way to describe her) I asked for a three on top which I got, and then I got a 2 on the front of my head making it significantly lower than the rest of the top of my hair, she went so far down on my side burns that I now have to shave my beard down to even look normal, she is unaware of what a medium fade is because I came out with a high and tight, she didn’t even my sides correctly so now one side is even higher than the other. When I said to her that she took a two to the top of my head she denied it, even though she took the three that she was using off the clippers and used the two for the sides and came back to do the front of my head, and then went on to explain that she’s been cutting hair for 30 years and that’s how “it’s supposed to be done”. This is the first review I’ve ever done on haircut place because the experience and the end result was literally the absolute worst I have ever gotten!!!

Great app that is very easy to use and just as easy to set up. The only things that I would like to see added is to add a preference of your favorite stylist and/or stylist schedules. For example, I texted my stylist today about 1pm to ask if she was in today and she said she was there at 2pm; I selected my preferred time of 2:30pm and her name did not come up. If that could be added, I’d give it 5 stars. I understand there are emergencies and illness, so if my stylist doesn’t come in, we could get a push notification that they won’t be in that day. Perhaps make it so that you can’t schedule until at least 30 minutes after their scheduled shift, that way if they don’t show, we’d be notified properly

SupercutsHairSalonCheckin doesn’t work, as in it doesn’t send info to the store so I came to the store and found out I was never checked in despite SupercutsHairSalonCheckin saying I was.

Other than that, the only change I’d want to see in this would be because whenever you move the map and lift your finger off to move the map another swipe, SupercutsHairSalonCheckin immediately starts loading locations where the map currently is.

SupercutsHairSalonCheckin should have a 1-1.5 second delay after lifting your finger off the screen before it stops to load new locations.

The shop is a great, relaxing atmosphere and Meg is amazing! I moved a few years a go and I am about an hour away but it’s worth the drive. I honestly wouldn’t feel comfortable going anywhere else or having anyone else touch these locks. Not only is she super sweet, she never seems to mind when I bring pics and want to change it up. She seems to actually enjoy trying new styles/cuts. She also helps me style it/blow dry etc to really capture the look!! Thank you so much to Super Cuts and Meg!

Contrary to the “Official Supercuts Employees in the reviews, the perhaps impatient or ill informed customers and those who are still learning to use a smart phone... I think SupercutsHairSalonCheckin works perfect for just what it was intended for. I have booked my son and I for at least a dozen haircuts and have never had an issue one. It’s important to remember that you cannot book more than an hour in advance. If you have a preference, you can pick your favorite stylist (if they are available). When and if all else fails, pick up the phone and call or sit in the store and wait... ya know... old skool style!

What’s the point , no explanation how to, just a advertised picture which doesn’t exist when I logged on. Setting aside SupercutsHairSalonCheckin since SupercutsHairSalonCheckin that doesn’t work, I show up early to get an early start and first to enter get my name in as first on the list at the store then someone walks in an gets serviced prior. Why they used SupercutsHairSalonCheckin after the store opened? What’s the point if we need to wait till it opens to make an appointment via SupercutsHairSalonCheckin ? Poor service. Please remove my account and hire smarter developer!! Since I have to select a star I’ll select one since I am forced to choose otherwise it would be no Star.

My local Supercut at Marketplace in Temple TX provides service in order of customer’s arrival at the store. They do not acknowledge online check-in. So even if you check-in electronically and arrive before the assigned time you will get skipped, and the check-in time acknowledged would be whenever I arrive at the store. When I asked the staff about it they announced it to the roomful of waiting customers that they don’t believe in people skipping the line, and doing so will only upset those who walk in and don’t use SupercutsHairSalonCheckin .
My question is, what is the use of electronic check-in if you still have to wait in the store as if you didn’t do it at all?

Love SupercutsHairSalonCheckin. Saves me time. Sends me to the front of the line with other people who just walk in. Allows you to see if a SuperCuts is particularly busy so you can pick a time when you don’t have to wait. As a male with simple cut, SupercutsHairSalonCheckin will draw and keep many customers who do not to wait. It is such a relief to understand your wait time before you arrive. Also, since it check you in, the stylist can see what type of style you had last time and can just confirm specifics on how you want the style this time. Huge plus for a person like me who doesn’t remember the clipper size from haircut to haircut. All around a great app and user friendly. Must have for a SuperCuts customers.

My daughter my husband and I love to go we go to the one in Oswego I see Danielle and she is awesome knows exactly what I want when I come in. My 12 year old daughter will only see Sydney she only does a thinning since her hair is so thick and is a dancer and she takes her time to make sure it is perfect for her and nice and thin and trims it if it needs it done. My husband only goes to Sydney he is a very fussy man never also anyone touch his beard everyone messes it up and she is the the only one so far that has ever done a perfect job. SupercutsHairSalonCheckin is perfect I can check to see who is working how long of wait and schedule my appointments for that day and not have to wait for hours there yes sometimes maybe few extra minutes but that’s not there fault

1. Signed up myself and a guest for a specific time, and people who called ahead via phone were all taken before us - we didn’t get our cuts until a half hour after our appt time. Salon said the computer erased all app appointments.
2. Signed up myself and guest at 10am and first available on app was 11:30 and 12:00. Arrived at 10:55 to find only one other person. Why can’t SupercutsHairSalonCheckin allow me to sign up for an earlier time?
3. Signed up myself and a guest. Arrived and only the guest was listed. Checked SupercutsHairSalonCheckin and sure enough only the guest was listed. How is that even possible? I signed myself up first!

I won’t use SupercutsHairSalonCheckin anymore. It’s easier to call ahead and apparently takes precedence over SupercutsHairSalonCheckin .

SupercutsHairSalonCheckin does not work for the location I go to: Crossroads at Orenco Station in Hillsboro, Oregon. I checked SupercutsHairSalonCheckin before I left home and also again when I got to the salon. It said there was zero minute wait. I arrived at 12:30 and there were three people waiting. The stylist said the last appointment she had that day was at 4:45. I told her it said zero minute wait. She apologized. I also told her that you cannot select a time when you schedule online. She said that they don’t have enough stylists at that store to use that option. I don’t know why they even have online check in if it doesn’t work. It should be disabled for this salon, and others, if it doesn’t work properly. SupercutsHairSalonCheckin is useless and a waste of time.

The biggest problem I’ve encountered is that, when it gets to being within an hour or two of closing time, if multiple people have checked in, but have not shown up, SupercutsHairSalonCheckin will show me that there is a 0 minute wait time, but, at the same time, SupercutsHairSalonCheckin will not let me check in. SupercutsHairSalonCheckin also does not tell me why I cannot check in.

What are the consequences of this? Well, seeing as how late evenings are the only time I can squeeze in a haircut, I have typically ended up driving all the way to the store anyways. It’s a zero minute wait, after-all, right?! Wrong!

What really happens is that I will first be asked if I have checked in online. I will say that I have tried, but that SupercutsHairSalonCheckin is not allowing me to check in and that it said there is a zero minute wait. I’m then typically told that too many people have checked in and that they are actually booked for the rest of the night. Sorry!

It’s a good idea, SupercutsHairSalonCheckin, but these incidents have actually made my experience less efficient, unfortunately.

I had to change my phone number and inside SupercutsHairSalonCheckin under my profile it displays the number correctly. On the main page of SupercutsHairSalonCheckin a another phone number is displayed which was not my old number or the new number I entered. Please fix and I will update my rating.

Update: Problem Fixed. Thanks. App works fine. Only issue is sometimes it does not list the hair stylist names when trying to make a request.

I’m very impressed with the Super Cuts stylists at all the Super Cuts I’ve been to. And I think SupercutsHairSalonCheckin works fantastically. EXCEPT ... when I get to SOME of the Super Cuts, the wait time is off from what SupercutsHairSalonCheckin suggested. I get it that it’s estimated. No duh on that. But when I say it works as well as the stylists, I mean SupercutsHairSalonCheckin has to base its time on what the stylists tell it is going on. So if they have three walk in’s off the street, and they don’t tell the system that, it doesn’t know that my wait time is more than 0 minutes. So it says “0 Minutes”. So overall I’m thrilled with SupercutsHairSalonCheckin , but just saying beware that the ETA MAY be off.
