JUST SO YOU KNOW, IT’S NOT FREE!!

MarathonTrainerRunTracker is a subscription and you pay $7 dollars a month. You have to look in the description and read though it to see that it’s not free. Maybe that’s on me for not looking in the description, but I think they should put the cost next to MarathonTrainerRunTracker icon which is what most other apps do. Also, I gave it only one stars only because I haven’t even used MarathonTrainerRunTracker but I’m deleting it after writing this because I don’t want to pay. And from what I’ve heard from the other reviews, you have to log in every time you want to open up MarathonTrainerRunTracker ! And, I find it kinda weird how, in the Terms of Service, their is discoloration on the screen. The background of the text is discolored in some areas.

Fraud and Theft

I’ve been charged $7.99 month after month for MarathonTrainerRunTracker. I don’t have a subscription. I tried messaging a “coach” via MarathonTrainerRunTracker but without a subscription I can message. So, I’m paying for a subscription that I don’t want yet I don’t have the features a subscriber would have so why am I being charged $7.99? I’ve tried to “cancel” the subscription in my apps and via the website. Both say I do not have a subscription. I tried providing feedback using the feedback feature on MarathonTrainerRunTracker . I’ve received no reply and I’m still being charged. This is fraud and stealing. I want my money back.

Frustrated with subscription

Each time I try to change my run plan, I am prompted to purchase a subscription. The last time this happened, I was charged three times. Apple refunded the duplicate charges, but I was frustrated it happened in the first place. It’s a decent app otherwise, but I’m frustrated enough to stop using it. It seems that you cannot even give feedback on MarathonTrainerRunTracker if you don’t have subscription, which is why I’m leaving this here.

Great concept

If you do not plan to use a smart watch, then this is MarathonTrainerRunTracker for you. I have had nothing but problems with the watch app, getting it to sync, it has even messed up my schedule so I wasn’t doing what I was supposed to. The trainer part is great and they respond sometimes quickly, sometimes 24 hours or so later. They keep working with me trying to figure out the watch issue but it’s so problematic. Not what I want for an $8.00 per month app.

Trained and ready to go...

I made a commitment to run my first half marathon.
I didn’t know how to train myself to do so. MarathonTrainerRunTracker gave me direction, and guided my training process. It is valuable to be able to communicate with Marathon Matt during the process, his knowledge and insight were very helpful.
The problems I’ve had... using MarathonTrainerRunTracker and my music stream simultaneously, the music will occasionally cut off. A few times, during runs, MarathonTrainerRunTracker would unknowingly pause.
My race was postponed tho I continued to train. Thus I’m running my half this wknd, alone. I appreciate having MarathonTrainerRunTracker to accomplish this goal.

Excellent and inexpensive

It really does a great job of creating a training schedule that is working as I’m training for my first ever half marathon. The trainer responds fairly quickly when you need it. The articles aren’t extremely helpful and I wish they would touch on nutrition, but for training purposes it’s perfect for me! The only annoying feature is that there is a finesse to how you change a workout day or change a length otherwise it adjusts your whole routine and at the wrong acceleration, but I’m learning how to avoid this!

Works well

One week of using MarathonTrainerRunTracker and overall I’m happy with it. I’ve submitted several questions to the trainers, and they respond very quickly and with good information. The one area I see for improvement is: the log should have more stats in them. For example I’d like to know what pace I ran my intervals at. Also, when I log cross training, I wish distance was not required. Often my cross training is weights at the gym which don’t involve any distance.

On my way to (finally) getting fit

Running in fresh air with MarathonTrainerRunTracker makes me feel fantastic. Best part is seeing how my pace and time improved over the last few months, based on my running history. I made it fit my complicated schedule and if it happens to forget what I have on my plate for today, I get notified.

Keeps me Focused on my Goals

Running a marathon has always been on my bucket list but I’ve had a difficult time sustaining a regular training. I get bored running long distances and loose interest easily.
I started training for 10k on SportMe app three months ago and I am absolutely thrilled by how much fun it has been!
I especially love the customized training program feature; it makes training more meaningful as each program focuses on strengthening one area, such as physical stamina or mental focus e.t.c. The break-downs make training highly satisfying and less overwhelming. Now I achieve incremental goals easily on weekly basis!
I never knew running can be so interesting. Now I look forward to my training days and I can’t wait to earn my next Milestone. SportMe has made running so much more fun and rewarding. Thank you!
Needless to say I highly recommend it to all runners ❤️

Back after many years away

I have been away from running decades! I’m back! I’ve set high goals . I love running and hope to run my first marathon at age 54. SportMe has jump started my training. I have already improved my speed after only usi MarathonTrainerRunTracker a week! I’m so excited over my progress. I really feel my goals are attainable! I’ll keep you updated! Thanks SportMe!!!!

Best running app out there

So I’m an 26 year old runner who runs about 15 miles a week but sometimes more. SportMe Marathon Trainer really suited me. What I like best about MarathonTrainerRunTracker is that it made it really easy to track exactly when I did the run and a lot of running metrics, such as pace, calories etc. there are no glitches with MarathonTrainerRunTracker , so I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to any type of runner.

I love it

I recently got MarathonTrainerRunTracker but my iTunes wasn’t allowing me to use MarathonTrainerRunTracker and their support team helped me so much and we finally figured out what it was but when they were helping me they wanted to know what they could do. They were so nice and so patient with me too! The team ended up giving me one six-month trial for free because of my troubles and I am so thankful because I love MarathonTrainerRunTracker!

One of the most useful apps on my phone

I depend on my phone when it comes to exercising. I double check my form, log my workouts, so practically my phone is a major part of my running routine. MarathonTrainerRunTracker specifically helped me a lot. I can track all the relevant running data, I can get training plans depending on my upcoming races, I also get feedback from professional coaches. Great app, overall!

Life changing | I hated running before SportMeTrainer

I can’t say enough good things about MarathonTrainerRunTracker. It’s like having a personal trainer in your pocket. You get personalized training plan adapted to your skills and schedule. You get expert coaching from real trainers. I used to hate running and now I look forward to it. Using this has replaced my having to go to HIIT classes and, the best thing, it helped me get faster and improve my pace, which feels great!

This App is the bomb!

First off let me start by saying I don’t trust a lot of things in life and I believe everyone’s out for themselves. I read other reviews on MarathonTrainerRunTracker and I was like “ what can running app do that I can’t do myself?” Well for starters ask a question on MarathonTrainerRunTracker and you get real answers and real trainers who genuinely care about your running experience no matter what caliber of runner you are! Very happy with MarathonTrainerRunTracker highly recommend ‘

Great interactive program!

I found MarathonTrainerRunTracker by accident after my “Virtual Run Coach” app disappeared. I was skeptical but decided to go ahead and pay for one race training cycle. I was pleasantly surprised that you can actually text questions or ask for workout clarification, and get a personal response and explanation from a coach. I definitely recommend MarathonTrainerRunTracker to runners wanting to increase distance and/or speed, or even newbies who want to complete their first race. Really great program!

Goodbye Gipis, hello Sport Me

I had loved the GIPIS running app and then it was gone. I’m still not sure why they stopped. Needless to say I have been searching for another app with the same interval smarts as Gipis and nothing seemed to compare. I tried Runkeeper, Strava and they all fell short.

Enter Sport Me! Although I wish they provided target paces for interval runs so I’d know if I was on track to meet my goal pace there are so many aspects that make up for that.

First of all, it’s incredibly user friendly. Secondly, I love the variety of runs they provide and last but not least the real life coach feedback is a game changer! Their response rate is phenomenal too. They (Michael) got back to me within 24 hours! It’s nice to know if you have a question along the way they’re right there!

GIPIS was free which may have been part of the reason it didn’t last. Nevertheless, I was hesitant to pay so much for MarathonTrainerRunTracker so I opted for the 6 month plan to save some money and it is worth every penny! No doubt!

Thank you Sport Me and your fabulous team! Please don’t go anywhere!!!

Marathon Matt sold it to me.

MarathonTrainerRunTracker is great. At first, I was a little reluctant to spend the $10 a month subscription fee for something that seemed no different than other customizable running plans I’d seen online. All of my reservations went out the window when I utilized the “Marathon Matt” function. I asked “Matt” a question regarding training not expecting much more than an automatic robotic response. What I got was a well thought out, conversational, HELPFUL answer within the day. Now I use Matt regularly and each time his answers are informative and helpful. I don’t know if Matt is one dude who spends a lot of time being helpful online, or if there’s a team of “Matt’s” who are there to answer your questions. But either way- I’m sold.

Finally a training plan that adapts to you!

I’ve been wanting to run a marathon for quite some time now, but I didn’t even know where to begin. I searched on the internet for training plans, but all I found were general PDFs, that I had to find
a way to somehow modify to fit my skill level and schedule. I’m so happy that I found Sportme! Sportme adapts to you, rather than you having to adapt to someone else’s training plan. It customizes a plan based on your skill level, schedule and race date. MarathonTrainerRunTracker even has an autoupdate feature that will adjust your plan, based on if you run more or less than your goal that day. The trainers are also very responsive and helpful when you send them messages. Love MarathonTrainerRunTracker, highly recommend!

Running again

When I began running there were no apps. I had to plan my runs on the computer and I had a tracker I tied in my shoe to connect to my iPod. I researched running apps most have a lot of stuff I didn’t need but SportMe was the one that worked best for me. I love the plan it laid out for me. I love I can listen to my music. I love the prompts it gives (it works really well if you trust it and stop looking at your phone 100 times to see if it’s keeping track.) I had an issue with the music not playing while MarathonTrainerRunTracker was running. I emailed Michael and let him know and he got back to me in a very timely manner and I fixed the issue and was back enjoying my run in no time. Customer service to me is very, very, very important and you will get that with MarathonTrainerRunTracker.

Super customizable ❤️

I did something stupid and signed up for a 10K only 3 weeks away, and I haven’t run since July. I scoured MarathonTrainerRunTracker Store for an app that had a short term 10K trainer and couldn’t find anything. They’re all at LEAST 4 weeks+, most are at least 13 weeks. MarathonTrainerRunTracker actually allowed me to schedule 3 weeks for my training program, because it asks the date that your event is. I love that! It also gives great details about your run, lets you know your split times for each mile while you’re running, and tracks your route. My favorite running app in MarathonTrainerRunTracker Store right now. I would say it’s mostly worth the $8/month.
The thing that actually bothers me the most is that it makes me sign in almost every single time. That wouldn’t be a big deal, except that when I’m about to start a run, I don’t want to spend 3 minutes outside in the cold walking down the street trying to prep MarathonTrainerRunTracker . I find that quite annoying.
Also, just tested the Siri capabilities, just out of curiosity. It’s a little slow (though that’s Siri’s fault, not SportMe) but if you say “Hey Siri, start a run,” she brings up MarathonTrainerRunTracker and the run starts without you having to click anything else so that’s super handy. It doesn’t seem to always work though. Again, I blame Siri mostly.
