The iPhone has a built in VPN indicator that shows when a vpn is active or not active. It will disconnect when you don’t have your phone unlocked or simply if you use your phone for to long. Every time you unlock you phone or every once in a while you use the app the vpn symbol will pop up on the iPhone screen indicating that it was off and just turned on. The whole point of a vpn is to be continually on, not to turn off when less activity occurs. I contacted customer service they were fast and respectful but did not have a solution for the problem. I have to give it one start because the app kinda works but you can’t kinda have good security.
I paid the $1.99 which should have been the once and done fee. There was no delineated trial, no odd parameter that seemed worrisome. I did not even have it a week and it stopped. It also claims my Apple ID has/had no subscription. The only option other than wifi is to upgrade and the customer service asked what the problem is. I have had to write to them repeatedly on this. I can only get on the internet if I disable cyber ghost. As soon as I turn it on, my wifi connection cuts off.
