Late last week a young girl, Camille E. In the Los Angeles area accepted all our ride on her own volition. This morning at 6:58 am, 2 minutes before the scheduled 7:00 am pick up time, this app informed me Camilla Ellis was running 20 minutes behind, when my instructions made clear our son had to be on the road no later than 7:05 to arrive to school on time. Rather than take responsibility they cover for her claiming she had a medical emergency. So you’re telling me at 6:58 am she suddenly had an emergency that would only make her 20 mins late? Not, cancel?

I told them to remove her and they try to find another driver. The only driver would arrive at 7:50 am. We have a PERFECT attendance record, and this app’s unreliability almost cost us.

I asked them to remove her from all requests and they did not listen, so I edited the ride to remove her from the rest of the rides. They send her a request re rebook. I had to make it clear a second time that she is not allowed to drive our son. Someone who cannot be timely and reliable is not responsible enough to drive a minor. I do not need to test out and see if her lack of responsibility will put our son at risk.

I used this app for several months. When a question arose about my billing - I experienced the unprofessional side of this app. I could not get a reply from multiples messages sent through their app. I could not get a reply from calling their phone number (it was always an answering service, never a live person). When a this app rep FINALLY contacted me, I was promised a review and resolution. Several weeks later and I still haven’t heard back from this app. Unprofessional. Unethical. DO NOT USE this app unless you don’t mind having your concerns and problems ignored. I think I’ll try one of their competitors instead.

Just witnessed a this app van take a red light behind 2 other cars taking red on 19th ave. Company claims "we put your kids safety first" but I'm not sure about that. I've witnessed so many accidents from cars running red lights, crazy that a kid friendly taxi service allows this kind of driving.

Kango is nice when everything is ok - however, it is really hard to cancel a ride and get your money back as I just experienced. Of course no one in support will contact you to do anything about it ..

Loved using this app all summer. Suddenly the last week of August no drivers were marching rides, and customer service is unreachable. I have emailed, called and messaged in Kango , but gotten zero response. Seems like the company folded?! I wish I knew. No announcements. Nothing to go on other than the service seems to be shut down and they aren’t responding to messages

They’ve seriously gone down hill quickly. I have had 3 rides cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time, leaving me high and dry. They can cancel on you at any time without any recourse. If you do the same, they charge you the cost of the ride.

Today, a driver arrived 20 minutes early and pulled my son out of school from class - while it was still in session. I had left instructions for her to wait for him across the street from the school.

I am now using Zum which may be slightly more pricey, but do far reliable.

Had to pack my crying baby in the car and pick up my son from school late. Not cool.

I’ve been a driver for this app for more than 4-6 months now. I’ve been having problems with my payments and whenever I talk to them they say you have to contact support. And the only way that u can contact support is by email and they never reply back to you. I’ve been having a lot of missing payments. They don’t care about their employees. All they care about themselves and that’s it. I’ve tried to help them out in a very rough moments but they don’t appreciate your time and effort that you give them. They deserve a 0 star. If you want to waste ur time and have missing payments then go head and be one of their driver. I rather work for one of their competitors.

Booking is not right away confirmed and can be confirmed even a few min before the time the user has set to have to leave to the airport without the user being able to cancel at that point. I already had made different arrangements because I cannot have the uncertainty traveling with a baby. I was charged anyways.
Also not a all clear whether the booking was only for the child or if parents were also able to travel. Overall terrible experience. Not using this product ever again

I started using this app after shelter in place lifted. Not sure if it’s Kango in general or maybe they have less drivers but out of the three rides Ive tried to book only one has been successful.

It is the only child transportation app that shows local driver profiles with thanks from parents before we book a driver. Other apps only show driver profiles once they are accepting a ride.
this app also allows for meeting drivers ahead of time. These are the two benefits that I have noticed over other child transportation apps.

this app saved me several times at the end of the school year when I needed to get my son rides to and from school 45 minutes away. Their service is excellent, always responding to me right away and resolving any issues that came up. They really care about supporting parents. I would gladly use this app again!

this app has been able to find us a driver even in the most last minute requests. I feel as if our driver has our children’s best interest in mind. She never leaves them alone taking that extra step to make sure our little guys are safe and secure. Our children speak highly of her. I don’t want to leave out that they are never late and will bend over backward to get another driver if there are any problems. We have been using them now for 2 years. I would definitely recommend the this app service to any parent.

Working for this app has been really easy & flexible! I have a 3-year old so I needed a part time job that understood my hectic schedule and this was it. I’m able to plan out my days and choose what hours I can work. I’ve really enjoyed driving for them and would recommend it to other stay at home parents looking to make some extra income.

I really like this app! This is the first year we have gone without an afternoon sitter and this app has been a lifesaver. Kango is easy to use, drivers are great and we are a happy family.

We have used this app for well over a year now for a morning carpool for our kids to get to school with some other families, and it has worked out great. We have found their drivers to be great and their customer service to be great too. We have tried the other two kids car services in our area and in my opinion this app is by far the best one.

Cindy was totally awesome with my children. Although I was out of town, she continued to communicate with me, which I loved! As an owner of a nanny service, she was phenomenal and a professional. Thank you so much for your great services!

Because of Quest’s unique therapy program , parents from all over the Bay area sign their kids up but need transportation. this app did an amazing job connecting parents with a ride service. Professional, great communications and customer service and best of all, I could count on this app instead of me dealing with all the crises of previous years. First time using this app for my college-age non-driver who wasn’t that comfortable using a service “for kids” at first. It did give me great peace of mind over using other less-well-vetted ride services and I appreciate being able to schedule rides ahead of time.
