Looks like Yamaha doesn’t support this app anymore, or they don’t support the EW410, or they don’t support the iPad Pro, or they don’t support the iPhone 8. It must be one of these because it doesn’t work for me
Yamaha has been very short sighted by not supporting the Mac platform and they’ve shown a rush to market by not implementing the ability to load midi directly from usb without the need for external software.
I wish I hadn’t bought this keyboard.

Despite the demo video telling me I could use this app, I can’t get the app to communicate correctly with my CSP-170. Quite disappointed.
I addition, Dropbox support is no longer useful, since they limit the number of devices that can connect to the Dropbox account unless you pay a premium, which I am unwilling to do just for my piano.

I purchased the CSP-170B and found out that half the features they pushed simply do not work anymore.
MusicSoft is the software I turned to for more music, because smart pianist failed to open 90% or my Apple Music Library. However, this app has constant communication failures with my iPad Pro.
Had I known that this is what their support looked like, I would have purchased “The One” Smart Piano instead, as it has the same functionality, but it actually works.
Anyway, Avoid Yamaha instruments until they actually make a commitment to their software.
