-You don't know exactly where you're staying at the time of booking.

-The elevator smelled strongly of weed and got stuck with my son and husband in it.

-The staff at the hotel was rude.

-The hotel had not been cleaned.

-Hotwire customer service agents are not helpful.

Why is the app failing to display my upcoming reservations. Being an internet company one would think this aspect for a paying client would be flawless. I’ve contacted them twice and given the same excuse they Will forward an email so I can use that to secure my rental vehicles. Guess convenience know yetis something Hotwire is the time in unable to provide.

How to fix Hotwire app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Hotwire app on iPhone
Update Hotwire app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Hotwire iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Hotwire on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Hotwire network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Hotwire Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Hotwire not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Hotwire App
1. On android, goto Settings » Hotwire » click [Force Stop]

Update Hotwire to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Hotwire App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Hotwire » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Hotwire.

Fix Hotwire unable to contact server/ Hotwire internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Hotwire » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Hotwire » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Hotwire
