Love TheNewsPress , and love the News-Press for publishing hard-hitting news and enterprise journalism for a local audience. I only wish you would respect readers’ request to opt out of different news alerts. I have Sports Alerts turned off for a reason. I don’t want to know about sports updates. It’s different when it’s a huge breaking news story, but listicles and other things of the like (i.e. “Top things to watch at Florida v bla bla”) shouldn’t be pushed to readers via notifications who specifically opted out of that in their settings (namely, me, and others in my situation). You gave us the option, so thank you, but please stick to it and be mindful when crafting the push alerts. Thanks again for all your hard work.

Am a weekly subscriber - 7 days a week and lastly at least 1 day a week I have not been getting my paper delivered. Called customer service was told you have shortage of paper to print daily pAper!! I have not heard of paper shortage in USA! Also the recorded messages are unable to process my request when I call to tell them the delivery issue- very frustrating! I don’t think am going to renew my subscription when it expires- the news press!

I enjoy readingThe News Press and USA today. My frustration is with TheNewsPress . I can’t tell you the number of times that I have been signed in to my paid subscription and it gives me a screen that asks me to subscribe. I actually canceled my subscription a couple of months ago and eventually renewed it because I really wanted access to the stories. Now again, TheNewsPress is asking me to subscribe! And not letting me read the article!!!!!!

We are consistently disconnected from News Press customer support and technical support mid sentence. Usernames and passwords do not work regularly. We were baited and switched when offered a bundled subscription for the News Press and Indy Star for $1 for first 6 months and $9.99 per month thereafter. We were disconnected and then called back and customer support said they don’t bundle and only had access to the News Press.

I appreciate having the News-Press app to easily catch-up on local news and stay better informed of what’s happening in Florida.

I’ve been using TheNewsPress for years, and it used to be good and reliable. Recently, it has been logging me out, and refusing to allow me to log back in. I know this is a problem specific to TheNewsPress , because I can still go to the website on a pc without a problem.

I switched to digital due to the amount of paper waste I was contributing to. In addition, some weekdays the print copy was scant. While I’m not navigating it as well as I had hoped, I’m working at it. I do feel better about not adding to the garbage pile

How else could I know what’s going on around me! Informative and useful and entertaining! What else can I ask for? It’s like having everything served on a Silver Platter!

Aside from a smooth-operating app, the News-Press provides exceptional local, regional, and state news coverage plus national and world news. Great journalists using terrific technology.

Nice clean interface keeps me up to date with the local news with no nonsense.

After renewing my subscription the format changed for the worse! The old format read more like the paper version, please bring it back as an option!

App works well and is easy to navigate.

TheNewsPress gives you alerts to stories. When you click to read it wants you to subscribe for $7.99 a month! You get a few free stories (3-5) to read then it blocks it and asks you to subscribe. Don’t bother downloading. You could get a real paper delivered to your door for that much.

Difficult to navigate - instructions confusing

Please make an effort to update the Real Estate section more frequently. The same top story has been there since May 25th.
Surely some other event or news worthy article could be found to replace it!

Locks up frequently. Also often times won't let me access my account due to "not available right now.

The News-Press app provides good area news content and is easy on the eyes. Recommended.

People it did say in TheNewsPress that u need to have a subscription to the News-Press which I do. I also set up the subscription so I can read it online as well. Since I have both, I think TheNewsPress is wonderful. It keeps ya updated on what's happening around town, local high school sports, etc. it's a great app

The same stories clog TheNewsPress for multiple days. It’s very hard to navigate through the clutter to find the new stories.

I subscribed, my account says I have access, but when I attempt to open an article TheNewsPress tells me I need to subscribe to get content.

This may be the worst app ever. Certainly will not continue my subscription after the month expires

Missing women. Drug dealers and shootings. This poor excuse for a newspaper blocks the stories so we can’t help victims by knowing the facts. Absolute trash and all about the money
