I love this magazine. Great photos, road tests, stories, contributors, and rides which take place usually in the UK, but sometimes all over the world including the US. US motorcycle magazines are almost all gone, and their road tests are inferior to those in this app. Plus I enjoy the way the writers use the English language. It’s fun to see the extra “u” in all those words. I highly recommend this magazine. A reader from Oregon

Worth the money to have it shipped over from the UK, it is the only true motorcycle magazine left and doesn’t pretend to be a “lifestyle” magazine with 2500 word love letter articles about the artistry of a camshaft. Honest reviews presented with humor, the publication does not take itself too seriously.

I’ve been reading this app avidly for as long as I can remember. There are at least three bikes I’ve owned where their reviews sealed the deal for me. Even though they’re based in the UK, there’s more than enough overlap for US readers. Well worth the very reasonable subscription fee.

Just before the new year Bike failed to allow me to access my subscription. Not sure if it is the recent OS update or problems on this app’s end. Please fix Bike .

This iteration of Bike is quite good. All major issues have been addressed, and there is now nothing that can stop me from enjoying this magazine.

I read several periodicals on the iPad. this app is one of the top two, the other being the New Yorker. Articles easy to navigate, special features abundant & easy to navigate. The extras load very quickly.
this app, as a publication about motorcycling is great, no matter the platform - a good bit more irreverent about the brands. Somewhat more adult in the writing than Cycle World, Motorcyclist, et als.

I constantly switch to text-only view inadvertently. Too easy to have happen. Otherwise great.

this app used to be the gold standard. Crashed and burned around 2010. Coming back strong and getting better every year now. Still way too much coverage of Adventure bikes and sub 500cc models though.

But while the content and writing are top notch, Bike itself is a little irritating. Landscape only. Could we please have a portrait orientation too? Everybody else seems able to do it.

Mike Armitage and Chris Northover are the twin gods of moto journalism - and this app has one of them!

The articles are brilliant as always, but Bike feels like a beta release. If an article has too many interactive features(which I like) Bike crashes or worse my iPad will reset itself.

Where are the the ads?!? I never thought I would miss them but there are none! At least Motorcylist magazine has them in their Zinio version.

Finally, is there a proofreader for Bike version of this app magazine? For instance, in the June 2013 issue the table of contents lists a first ride report for the 2013 Aprilia Caponord, but the article is completely missing.

The this app app is just about everything one could want from a magazine app. High image resolution, straightforward UI, and there's even a preview with each issue so you can browse before you buy. Don't bother trying to chase down issues of this app at bookstores anymore, save money and get issues faster with Bike .

I have no patience now for simpleton PDF conversions of print magazines. If you can't see that the ipad and its imitators are the future of print and adapt to it then you should die off a slow death.

These guys get it. The photography shines, the writing is fresh and the layout is ipad focused and non linear. Good stuff!

One of the best if not the best motorcycle mag in the world. The new app with interactive stuff is all cool.. But it is TOO MUCH -PLEASE LIMIT YOUR ENTHUSIASM for swipe this way, tap here, scroll this box, swipe for sidebar, wait for this page another cool video loading.. PLEASE FOCUS ON CONTENT and side benefit would be smaller files.

The quality of the pictures and layout are just incredible. Well done! Now if the subscription price was a little more reasonable for those of us in the US.

Here in the States, this app magazine can be hard to find at the bookstore, but now i can get it anytime. At a fair price too.

As a graphic designer, I anxiously await my print edition to arrive by air mail every month. But, the iPad edition is truly beautiful. A great example of what a digital magazine can be. I never thought I'd say it, but I prefer the digital edition. Well done!

Overall a very good ipad app even if yes, it gets a little to 'swipey'. But for the number of options they provide they are obvious mad work fairly intuitively. Nice job and of course the content is great.

If you love motorcycles you should be reading this magazine. Has the greatest range of information on motorcycling and the most informative. Always love seeing a new issue arrive.

Compared to other motorcycle related apps - I would get this one again any day. Just keep the advertisement classy and to a minimum and I am sticking with this one

Great interactive videos, good photography, good writing, entertaining journalism. I do like British humor, though I'm a Yank. App makes it much easier than finding it around town. Best mag out there that I can leave laying around for my kids to find.

I’ve had an online subscription to this app for about 18 months. I love the magazine but have had problems in the last 2 to 3 months with page displays. Lately I haven’t been able to log in with my IPad. It tells me “in progress”. I’ll keep trying to reset and make sure Bike is updated. I contacted tech support when I had problems with the page displays but it is still different than it was several months ago. Not as seamless as it was.
