Second review in 2 months. Once again issues with PeopleMagazine. It’s constantly buggy and how there is a 4.5 stars rating is beyond me. Once you look at all of the most recent reviews they are all terrible for the last 1-2 years. Customer service is awful and blames me , not PeopleMagazine for the issue. It’s always my fault somehow. Don’t bother downloading. I don’t bother reaching out to the developers because they don’t reply in a timely manner and then when they do, the bugs either mysteriously disappear or blame me and say they don’t see the issue.

Adding on to this. I have canceled my subscription because PeopleMagazine either is buggy or will not let me download without paying. I have an active subscription but every week it prompts me to pay and I cannot get my weekly mag for several days later nice the bug is cleared. The developers are greedy!

Cannot sign in using email where my confirmation was actually sent. Called Apple, but they were unable to help. Been subscribing for years, but this is a frustrating and unnecessary experience. Cannot download magazines…it was never like this. Even having trouble submitting this review because every random nickname seems to be taken!!!

I am having the same issue with all of the others. No access!! And unable to restore. I sent my issue through PeopleMagazine support several days ago and have received nothing. Please advise. I have pay yearly and have missed months at a time because of the same issue.

Cannot read a single page of the magazine without PeopleMagazine crashing. So annoying. Don’t waste your time. Luckily I get People magazine in the mail too because if I only had a digital subscription I wouldn’t be able to read it. PeopleMagazine used to be good with no issues. I’m not sure what happ nd but it is terrible.

I can not get current issue of this magazine even though I have been a subscriber for years, on the People Magazine App the last magazine I have is from a year ago, I have tried to delete PeopleMagazine but it just stays in the cloud I was told to delete it and reinstall PeopleMagazine but this does not work. I am very discouraged!!!

A month ago People Magazine stopped downloading new issues that I had for over 5 years. I tried to reset 3 times. Also I deleted and reinstalled apps. Nothing is happening. I did contact Apple support and I’m getting refund but I do still want this magazine. Can you fix downloading problems?

App was updated. Email was entered for account login. Magazines not downloading. I have deleted and reinstalled PeopleMagazine three times. When I go to the main page, click on the latest issue of the magazine, it tells me to purchase, even though I am logged in. I am way behind with my reading. Please let me know how to fix this issue.

What is wrong with PeopleMagazine. It’s been buggy for two weeks and keeps saying I need to pay even though my subscription is renewed through October 22. I've tried all the fixes, f refresh, restore, sync, deleting and reinstalling PeopleMagazine but nothing helps. Maybe it’s time to go back to paper.

For the last three weeks I haven’t been able to download my issues. I have tried deleting PeopleMagazine and then reinstalling it. That didn’t work and because I was behind a couple issues I can’t reload those to read. Keep getting error and that we are experiencing issues and to please try again later. Please fix PeopleMagazine issue that is causing this problem. Maybe I will go back to paper issues

What have you done to PeopleMagazine??? I’ve been subscribed to People and Entertainment Weekly through iTunes for years. Now that you’ve switched to Zinio, I am only given the option of purchasing my new weekly magazine. I have already PAID for these magazines but now can’t get to them. What is the answer here???? After I hit ‘restore purchases ‘ , NOTHING happens. Please advise as to how to get to my paid for magazines!

I would enjoy PeopleMagazine if it didn’t keep reverting back to my home screen . I’ve contacted PeopleMagazine administrator who hasn’t gotten back to me, I’ve deleted PeopleMagazine and reloaded it on several occasions and I’ve been very careful about trying to enlarge the screen or make it smaller, turn pages etc., all to no avail. It’s extremely frustrating.

I love this magazine and I love even better having it digital. The last few weeks , every time I open PeopleMagazine it just spins. I have to delete PeopleMagazine and install again. Then it will work... until the next time I try to open it. I am signing in every time now.. everything is up to date. I have read many reviews of theirs doing the same. If it doesn’t get worked out, I will have to cancel my subscription.

I attempted to enter my People app and it tells me my version is outdated and to go to PeopleMagazine Store as a new version is available. I read People daily and update my apps constantly. When I go to PeopleMagazine Store there is no new version. I deleted PeopleMagazine and re-downloaded. It still tells me my version isn’t up to date.

I have been paying for my subscription for years and the last few months I haven’t been able to read anything. Every time I try to download a magazine it says Error Downloading. We are experiencing problems, try again. I’ve tried and tried and it has yet to work!

More than once I have tried to get back into PeopleMagazine after not using it for a while because I mostly use read my paper issue. But sometimes the paper issue gets lost in the mail so I try to read my issue on the iPad. Every single time PeopleMagazine has me logged in but unable to access as if I was not a paying customer. This is very frustrating.

I’m a People subscriber since a very long time. Now I’m subscribed by Apple iTunes purchases until January 2022, with the bad luck that my iPhone 📲 receives all the magazine editions but my Apple iPad doesn’t. The last one that I received in my iPad was the edition of October 25,2021.
People Team, how can you help me?!?

I used to be able to download the Digital magazine on Wednesday night. Now here it is Friday afternoon and still can’t download it. It’s already on the newsstands in the stores. What’s is the problem guys? Fix this please

I love the magazine but wish PeopleMagazine would stop closing on me after a few pages. I haven’t seen any updates to PeopleMagazine in over a year and clearly there is a bug. I don’t always have internet so like to download and read at a later date. Frustrating! I’ve seen others complain about this same issue and are asked to email....xyz. Why not just fix it or tell us all how to?

After weeks of trying, I cannot get PeopleMagazine to open anymore. I’ve tried resetting my iPad and re-downloading PeopleMagazine , but it just won’t open.

I contacted zimio? and a very nice lady helped me fix my problem. It took a few back and forth correspondences but all was fixed. I encourage all who get a reference number and email address to write to them!

PeopleMagazine is HORRIBLE. Meredith Corp should be ashamed that that they ruined this magazine and Entertainment Weekly but they have not had a working app for years. I am not going to pay for the new issue when I have been a subscriber for almost 20 years.

I get ZERO response on email from support and I have spent countless hours on the phone with tech support. Make it work or there will be some social media action.

Have had a subscription to People for years through iTunes. Never really had trouble with it until recently. Issues are only available hit-or-miss. Some tell me I have to “BUY” when I have already paid. Issues will not restore. Can’t help thinking this is a ZINIO problem.

I am not able to restore my purchases I have followed all the instructions for the new app and everything in my iTunes account is up to date and correct I just keep getting “ error in syncing your library try again .. I am going to cancel my subscription it’s a joke

Since the upgrade to iPadOS I am able to access and download old issues but the October 14 issue is not showing up in the library. I see it on the home page under recent issues but not in the library to download. I even tried deleting and reinstalling PeopleMagazine but it didn’t help.

Why are we constantly being asked to pay for the digital versions of People when we pay for print and digital?!? Been an issue for a long time. Why can’t you fix it for those of us who also use the digital feature? People was zero help on this issue and blames PeopleMagazine .

I haven’t used PeopleMagazine in a while because I usually read the print version, but today I decided to read from PeopleMagazine and the last issue I see there is from February! I tried syncing again and still nothing. I deleted PeopleMagazine , downloaded it again and still nothing. This is very annoying!

I have been a subscriber for over 15 years and service is now terrible. Can’t access digital on all Meredith magazine subscriptions and People has not been mailed for 2 month. Paid with check March renewal and was cashed . Their website on account shows as current. Have called several times and emailed. Feel like they just tell they will fix to get you off phone. One woman said their system was down and could not look at account which does not sound right

I was receiving my people magazine just fine until the new app. Then I had to re register and supply info I couldn’t remember or get. I have lost the last several months of my subscription because I have been unable to access them on my iPad. I have tried many times to get my lost issues and have failed. I don’t have any trouble with my NY Post and US Magazine. Very disappointing.

My subscription just renewed - I pay (& am billed up front) for a 6 month subscription but every time it renews it decides to ask me to pay for the current issue. I’m so tired of this, it has happened so frequently now that I don’t think the developers really care about PeopleMagazine or it’s paying customers. I’m on the verge of canceling my subscription & advising other to not renew or even purchase.

Since installing the new app, I have NOT been able to access digital copies of People. (I am a Print & Digital subscriber, a and my subscription runs thru May 2020.). I even tried deleting PeopleMagazine . & reinstalling, but it does not work. If I click on an older edition, it asks me if I want to purchase a subscription, or start a free trial. I just want my digital subscription to work as it used to! This new app STINKS.

Since the update I have had issues accessing the digital issues. I’ve emailed several times with no reply back. I did receive an email stating that I am paid in full for both versions. I have had my subscription for many years and enjoy it but I will be canceling both subscriptions if this issue is not resolved soon. I just sent another email. I have not received an issue since June 2. I do get weekly notifications stating that a new issue is available.

Terrible app. I’m not getting what I’m paying for. Not getting any access to my digital issues for ALMOST 4 MONTHS. it’s even more upsetting to see reviews stating poor customer service, and lack of response to paying customers. I can only view old issues in the library, and another problem is if you click to view that same exact issue that you have available from your library from the ‘recent issues’ menu, it prompts you to pay or start trial. I will never renew my subscription with people magazine again.

Every few weeks I am not allowed to download new issues—I only get choices to pay for an issue or get a free trial even though my subscription is current. I have uninstalled PeopleMagazine and reinstalled but it’s still not working.
