I was at Arlington with my son’s school field trip and didn’t have much time of my own. I used ANCExplorer to find an old Army roommate who I knew had passed. ANCExplorer located him very quickly and gave me GPS based directions that enabled me to visit him in a short period of time. Thank you for this very helpful app!

Came to Arlington to visit my parents grave after many years. App found the location and then took me right to it. Very easy to use and has much more info on multiple grave sites.

Very disappointing.
I have a several friends and family listed in my contents. In the past, the listings would show me the location on the map. Now all I get is an error message.

I wanted to go see R Lee Ermey’s grave and it’s not in ANCExplorer but his own website says he is buried there

I can’t look up people without getting an error message.

Keeps asking for debit card info. Can’t download app

Unlike the Arlington National Cemetery (ANC) web site, it appears the notable graves documented on ANCExplorer is not current. The information on the ANC web site appears to be fairly accurate. One would think the data on ANCExplorer would automatically sync when the ANC web site is updated.

I used ANCExplorer on my recent visit to Arlington. ANCExplorer is fabulous - I was able to have an easy way to make my way around the cemetery. The look-up feature was very helpful and saved time especially with the features to both see the gravestone or monument and also the link to map the exact location within a specific section of the cemetery.

What a great way to connect people to the ones they have lost. I've read some negative posts and can empathize with not finding someone that you expected to find. Nonetheless, this is a great way to honor those that have given everything for their country. I am confident that as it progresses there will be no one that is unaccounted for. Kudos to those that are working on this project. Keep up the good work.

What a wonderful App! I found it very easy to use. Easily found my parent's grave and was surprised that there was a photo of the front and back of the marker. Living in Texas I now have a way to visit anytime I want. Thanks for all the hard work that went into ANCExplorer. I'm also enjoying the other information provided on historical grave sites. A whole new way to explore Arlington. Thank you!

A very helpful app. Only problem is that with every update you need to erase and then reload all of your favorites. Otherwise the pictures aren't shown and a can't download message appears.
Did find a couple of instances where after searching for a name and then clicking on result takes you to a picture of different headstone.

I used it today on our trip. I have two littles and needed to execute a plan of attack and we could do it on the go. No crashing, or getting lost. Searched for Audie Murphy's grave by name search and puts a pin down. Can also search by monument. If you're heading there.... Get it. Forget the paper!

All we get are server errors. Nothing works and ANCExplorer itself is poorly designed. It assumes that you are actually IN the cemetery. Most of the features revolve sound that stupid assumption. No explanations, no help screens..... Nothing.

Our dead deserve more respect than what ANCExplorer provides. It is an embarrassment to the U.S. and it's citizens. Scrap it, hire some Americans to write it (preferably Veterans) and make it something we can be proud of. I'm sending letters and emails to my Congressman and Senator about ANCExplorer.. Lets see what they say.

I don't often write reviews but this has to be one of the most useful apps I have ever used. It helped me find the graves I wanted to visit and allowed me to act as tour guide for other patrons unable to find the sites they needed. If you are going to visit Arlington, ANCExplorer is a must!

Great app, was able to find specific graves, and tour the notible sites. However, after downloading on my iPhone, and zooming in to the area around Section 14 on the map, an inappropriate and somewhat vulger window showed up advertising a bar or saloon of some sort, advertising ilicit activity.

I have my parents gravesite saved in My Content. I haven’t been able to bring it up since the latest update. ANCExplorer just closes as soon as I click on My content.

Really disappointed this did not work. I was able to run several queries, but ANCExplorer refused to let me see the results. Disappointed because I wanted to map out my buddies' gravesites before heading to the cemetery. Interestingly enough, I couldn't get the website version on my laptop to work either. If it turns out just to be a server issue or something, I'll take this review down. I really hope that's the issue; I expected better.

ANCExplorer is a necessity for anyone visiting Arlington National Cemetery. The searches are fast and the maps accurate. I ran across a few bugs in this version, but it looks like ANCExplorer is improving nicely.

Found friends and family off of last names and year of death. Easy to use for navigation and planning routes. If you need to know the cemetery, this is the way to do it.

Works great. Takes me right to the correct grave. It's saved me many hours and lots of frustration when compared to trying to find graves with paper maps.

There’s certainly lots of info and were I looking for a specific grave it might be useful, but for the average visitor it’s functionally worthless. The UX is garbage and the map navigation is worse. It’s free and worth every penny. Google maps does a much better job of getting you to the salient locations. Don’t waste your time.

This was an easy and convenient way to find my way around the cemetery.

However, please review the notable women list - if you are missing Jacqueline Kennedy, what other women have been overlooked?

Downloaded ANCExplorer . Can’t get past the “Tap anywhere to close this help screen”. Closed ANCExplorer and now when I open it, it’s just a flat black screen. Tried uninstall, nothing helped.

Search for a grave feature would not work. Kept saying "You need to be connected to the internet to use this feature." I was connected to the internet. Deleted ANCExplorer .

Most recent update to ANCExplorer prevents app from loading and/or functioning. iPhone 6+ running 11.3.1.

Can’t view the map. Pretty basic problem. Fix this, developer!

Whenever I try to access MyContent, ANCExplorer shuts down. Very disappointing. I need the information ANCExplorer offered me. I hope you can fix it soon.

I’ve used this great app a few years now, but today it only shows a black screen (1 day after an update). Help!

Crashes on each open

Latest update wont load, just black screen.

Search function is absolute garbage.

Needs a lot of work

...therefore useless.
