This banking app is more than a hassle. It’s buggy, slow and is not maintained good.
Even though I’ve set in-app preferences to NOT send me notifications AT ALL, it sends their marketing notifications all the time, and then complains that my notification settings are disabled. Such a stupid thing to do.
Moreover the support link on the AppStore takes you to a general help page on the bank website. This shows how much Akbank is dedicated to their digital presence. Sad.

Incredible stupid bank with more than 5 million customers and doesn’t think one of them night be abroad.
The app blocked me from accessing my own account after i deposited money and wanted move it elsewhere and it suggests me to go nearest Akbank Branch.
I’m Brooklyn/NYC and you can track that from within the app, but yet suggesting me to go nearest branch. Well done!

In the name of a minimalist design, exluding a very basic account statement with running balance is unacceptable. This app is not a toy, or a social gathering place. It is there to conduct financial transactions. Depriving users from the most basic form of a statement is at the least irresponsible. Akbank should re-discover it's roots
