Stitch It Long Screenshots Reviews

Don’t waste your time on StitchItLongScreenshots. You can’t stitch together more than 3 images at a time without upgrading. Next, you have to suffer thru 3 commercials to finish the stitch. Oh, and don’t think you can outsmart it by stitching 3 images, then picking that stitched image to use in another stitch. No, they anticipated that and the stitched image doesn’t show up to pick. Lastly, you can only pick images from the camera library. Well, at least I couldn’t get it to look anywhere else, like inside other folders. Disappointing to say the least. I might have actually have paid for StitchItLongScreenshots had the developers not been so disingenuous.

I up-graded to pro so I could get all the features, but it won’t give me access to all my screen shots (from photos) only ones I used before with stitch it & it won’t let me delete from StitchItLongScreenshots any screen shots I already used.

Also from the setting area, it says - give feedback and it goes nowhere. I also pressed, Restore Purchases, it indicates that I have the up graded version and still having the same problem. Watched the tutorial, that didn’t help. There’s no way to contact app developer from app developer web site.

If It is not going to work, I want a refund so I can get an app that will work.

I want to start by saying StitchItLongScreenshots functions fine. It’s just very confusing compared to its competition. It appears you need to crop each picture perfectly by themselves (I could not get this overlap feature to work that another person had written about), then all it does is combine them! Perfectly aligned – or most likely not!

And where is the horizontal stitch feature? Like the other have? I use it all the time.

What about the automatic line-up that the other apps have? They not only line your screenshots up, but merge them seamlessly and automatically! They will also delete your old screenshots on the fly (if you like). With some of the other apps you could do this without even opening StitchItLongScreenshots ! It automatically detects screenshots made and you only need press the button in the widget! Boom! All Done!

I don’t mind paying the three dollars to support the developer, but I hope this developer gets on their game!

StitchItLongScreenshots DOES DO what it advertises but its poor programming refuses to recognize when you have upgraded by paying $3. Despite upgrading it continues to hound you with advertising and limits you to three segments of screen shots. It also will NOT recognize an image that is not a screenshot to be pieced together. The interface is unsophisticated, clumsy and sparse. I am using iOS15.1 and performed a total shutdown and restart on the iPad Pro. It still does not do what its supposed to do, that is, recognize the upgrade. And the PROVIDE FEEDBACK button does not work. I cannot believe that anyone would rate StitchItLongScreenshots at 5 stars. Sham. StitchItLongScreenshots needs a LOT of work to be worth the price.

Several attempts to create a promised stitch photo proved a frustration. The tutorial is only a video add for StitchItLongScreenshots . Doesn’t help solve issues or learn how to use StitchItLongScreenshots . Once I accessed some screenshots to use, I was locked out of any other pictures or screenshots. I shelled out $2.99 for the “pro” version hoping that would be fixed. It still kept me locked out of all other shots. I deleted StitchItLongScreenshots and reinstalled it hoping for a fix. Having done that I was again faced with the choice of how to access my photo library. This time I chose to give StitchItLongScreenshots access to ALL my photos. CREEPY!! I DON’T like this. That was, apparently, required for access so I can actually use it as intended. That seems to work. Very frustrating experience but it seems that to keep my privacy I’ll have to delete StitchItLongScreenshots to keep my library private; then reinstall it when I need to stitch screenshots together. Functionality seems fine. Tutorial is stupidly useless. Privacy is highly questionable. I can’t recommend this.

Why can’t we just go to our photos of screen shot as well as pics and just select and they load into the stitch app. I have screenshots of recipes that I want to put together and most importantly I want to move them over to my paprika 3 app. Would it not be easy to go to photos (iPhone) select then go to share and your app be listed there or in more option so we could go directly back to stitch and they be loaded. I don’t understand after I do a screenshot how to get them over to your app. I went ahead and bought StitchItLongScreenshots just so I had the right to start asking questions. Seems like it is going too be a good one just could be a more easier and smoother flowing steps to take .

Used it to stitch together a few of my tax documents. I like the ability to be about to manually crop the top and bottom of my 2 images. It just works better that way. Other apps don’t have this and it’s super frustrating.
Only thing I can see thus far that the paid version offers is removal of the watermark. Which isn’t enough to make me purchase it. If it offered a horizontal stitcher that would be enough tho. Yeah, I’m looking at you, Dev. Get to work lol.

1. Tap to crop shows the ghost overlay only if the other image was cropped. It should show all the time.

2. Undo button reverts both upper and lower crops, add a second undo button for the bottom and allow me to edit either upper/lower or both.

3. Nine times out of ten I’m stitching screenshots so priortize that folder in the image picker using PHAssetCollection.

App works great and makes connecting images easy. The team behind StitchItLongScreenshots is also very quick to respond back to feedback or at least that was the situation in my case. I’d recommend getting the pro version if you like to save articles/big pieces of texts in apps, for example reddit posts via the apollo app, for saving into the camera roll for quick reference. Do note that in order for the overlay to show you have to crop the previous image first.

I like StitchItLongScreenshots a lot. I do wish there was some way to clear and delete images that were used in a previous stitched document from StitchItLongScreenshots ’s image file. It would be great to select images to delete from the image files in StitchItLongScreenshots as well as an option to clear and delete all images from StitchItLongScreenshots so that each time I go in StitchItLongScreenshots , I will only see the images I want to use today instead of seeing all the images for the current document as well as the images from previous documents.

Simple to use for splicing screenshots and/or pics together. Automatically and perfectly resizes images of different widths to combine into one. Works much better than collage apps that you have to try yourself to adjust different sized images to fit, and that don’t accommodate longer lengths. My only issue is there doesn’t seem to be a way to add further images from your camera roll after doing it the initial time when in StitchItLongScreenshots . I have to close & reopen it to get the prompt to select more images from camera roll. I also wish I could clear previous images. Still 5 ⭐️though, & I liked it enough to purchase the pro version to avoid the ads.

Tip: The bottom right corner watermark might slightly cover some text space, so leave some extra blank/unneeded space at the bottom of your bottom screenshot :)

Fantastic app. 15-30 second ad is totally worth it. Note the second ad doesn’t need to be watched (the image is downloaded right before it plays), but watching supports the dev! Great ad, pretty easy to use, and ends up pixel perfect. Thank you, dev!

Does exactly what it's supposed to, and does it really well. I usually don't take the time to write reviews, but it really was worth it here. And to the developers: you've made something perfect, please don't go and change it.

I LOVE StitchItLongScreenshots! I’m 81 years old and I find it very easy to use, what I don’t understand is the bad reviews on here! I have had NONE of the problems that the other reviews mentioned. I do have the upgraded version on my iPad. The ONLY thing that could make it better would be to be able to stitch together horizontally. I have recommended StitchItLongScreenshots to several people and they also love it!

Been using StitchItLongScreenshots for around two years now I believe, after the first day of use I bought the pro upgrade and have never regretted it. StitchItLongScreenshots works as intended, there are no annoying menus or pop ups, the upgrade is a one time purchase at a great price, and the little “stitch stitch” audio when combining photos makes me laugh still. Just an outstanding product altogether.

I simply LOVE Stitch It! but I have a need to stitch pics horizontally too! Could this be added in an update - the choice between vertical or horizontal stitching - or even another app to do horizontal stitch, just as simple and awesome as Stitch It! already is!????? Maybe call it Join It! ???
Many of the collage apps are just ridiculous when all I’m looking for is a horizontal stitch without having to rotate my pics beforehand and then back again, because they lose resolution then.
Regardless, I LOVE Stitch It! and thank you developers for StitchItLongScreenshots!!!

Great for article sharing & mobile gaming screen shots and fantasy sports lineups when sending a link is inconvenient. Great for texts, LINE, & Discord chatting. It also make all file sizes appropriate for Discord but does not seem to lose the resolution of the image. One of the only apps I’ve ever paid for premium features to support the developers. StitchItLongScreenshots has been super useful for at least 4 years now.

Loves: - Hilarious sound effects. I never thought I’d laugh so much while stitching photos. - Intuitive and easy to use. It has a nice overlay that helps guide you since it’s manual. - Cheap. The pro version is only $3 but the free version is fully functional (if not only slightly annoying at 3 image import at a time)——— Meh stuff: - Kinda wish it were automatic - Remove the pro message if you have pro

StitchItLongScreenshots does what it does really well. It stitches vertical screenshots together, after you manually align them. I’ve used it regularly for over a year, and it is very simple and dependable to use. (And the in-app sounds are great!)

A 1-star review complained that the free version is ad-supported and limits you to three screenshots, and won’t let you cheat to stitch more. This is such a disservice to the developers. The Pro version is only $3, permanently unlocks unlimited stitching, and removes ads and watermarks. The free version is otherwise fully-functional, and lets you see if it will meet your needs before deciding to purchase it. I wish more apps made this choice.

Couldn’t be better thought out how easy it is to put pics together by showing the transparent view of the photo on top to get them perfectly aligned. I’ve sent dozens of text thread screen shots that are now just one picture instead of three of 4 that get out of order and confusing for people. That singlehandedly is worth the price of StitchItLongScreenshots!!! Great job folks
