Good Content with Horrible Technology

Business Insider has well thought out content (forgiving their obvious over the top liberal leanings) for business. Unfortunately and amazingly even their paid product’s interface on iPad Professional’s or website is just plain bad! Do you guys try logging into your own site without an iPad App (ie your target market clearly has these) you can at least make your safari site version 1) enable you to log into the site (log-in screen doesn’t work), 2) when logged in via iPhones and the automatically opening the app having to sign in again 10 seconds later is just stupid. Get with the program and focus more on your business and less on chastising conservative outlook that was legally elected to the White House!

What Happened?

This is my go to for news. Every morning and night for several years. Over the past few, it’s been so aggravating to use. I’ve had so many problems and I think surely they’ll fix this. Shutting off. Links not working. Twitter post links in articles- hasn’t worked in a year or two. Losing saved articles. Video links and Ad sounds that seem to have their own mind. The constant nuisances I’ve overlooked. But, when I come here to get some help because the app won’t update for 8 hours at a time and the developer link shoots me out of the App Store to my home screen... what a terrible joke this application is.

Crashes and Useless Search Function

This app has been plagued by problems with minimal staff assigned to fix such issues it seems. The app crashes every single time I reach the end of an article. The search function doesn’t work as it immediately tells you that your search query has timed out. Minor issues include the inability to keep app settings stored such as font size. At least once a month I open my app to small size font and have to reset it to the size I prefer. After the 7th time/month you get frustrated as you realize that bugs are rarely fixed.

Have a Problem with Business Insider? Report Issue

Leave a comment:

Why should I report an Issue with Business Insider?

  1. Pulling issues faced by users like you is a good way to draw attention of Business Insider to your problem using the strength of crowds. We have over 1,000,000 users and companies will listen to us.
  2. We have developed a system that will try to get in touch with a company once an issue is reported and with lots of issues reported, companies will definitely listen.
  3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.
  4. If you are a Business Insider customer and are running into a problem, Justuseapp might not be the fastest and most effective way for you to solve the problem but at least you can warn others off using Business Insider.
