I used to enjoy this service but recently, it has gone bad. In fact, it is horrible if you intend to watch on the road or when traveling. Two main issues they need to address:

1. After downloading the movies, you still need Internet to watch because the system checks for subscription before you can watch downloaded movies. I was on a 12 hour flight and have hoped to watch my downloaded movies but I could not!!!. The rubbish system was checking my subscription which requires internet connection. Totally defeats the purpose.

2. The system get hung checking for subscription license. I have deleted IROKOtv and reinstall three times but issues remain the same. License checking status is still in a loop even after their recent update in March 2018. All the downloaded movies are grayed out and I can't click to watch. However I am able to stream other movies that have not been downloaded without any issues. I tried chatting with their customer rep and got no response after many attempts .

I’m having issues with my app, it’s really frustrating now!! Please admin what’s going on?? It’s either my downloaded movies are not playing at all or when I watch with my data(after downloading) it goes blank but movie audio continues playing, I deleted and downloaded again severely, but same issue!!! Please work on it! Thank you. I really love using IROKOtv , and it would hurt me greatly if this problem continues.

It’s 2020 and African movies have improved way beyond what it was 17yrs ago. They’re very entertaining and dramatic, but what the film makers are lacking is time placement. They wait till the last 8mins or so, towards the end, to solve all the issues. They stretch the entire thing out and within 10mins of closing or 5mins rather, that’s when things are being found out (whatever the movie is focused on, like a cheating wife or finding the truth out about something) it’s not realistic. 20-30mins should be the basis of when issues are solved and the truth is spoken. All I do is get frustrated. Please stop doing this!!!!

I sent a message on instagram which was ignored about requesting for the cast to tv icon which is usually enabled with the use of a chrome cast, I have mentioned this too before but as usual it’s being ignored. I bet they can’t be bothered about finishing. They feel IROKOtv is available so nothing else should matter. But little things matter most. SceneOne tv came right after this app and they have the icon for easier viewing . Decided no more this app after this subscription.

I can’t even watch my app from my phone anymore,I try watching and ask me to restore purchase i did and ask for a claim ID which I don’t know where to get that,I called and they trying to tell me I don’t have any history of purchase.i ask is that how you render services I paid for without been able to watch any movie from IROKOtv am absolutely disappointed and ashamed about this product,I will like to be contacted to restore this issue as soon as possible

I’ve had this subscription for a while and keep hoping it will get better but it’s only getting worse. In the past 2 months, I’ve deleted and redone loaded IROKOtv but haven’t been able to watch anything. IROKOtv loads to the shoutouts page and nothing else can be done from there. I’ve tried on all my devices and nothing works. It’s become a waste. Either give me my money back or fix it. This is ridiculous.

I’m not sure what’s been the issue with IROKOtv lately, I haven’t been able to watch a movie for over a month now. App keeps freezing, can’t click on anything, I’ve repeatedly terminated and reran IROKOtv to no avail. Also, the casting feature seems to have been removed, I can’t watch on my iPad or cast it to my tv which are basically the 2 ways I watch movies on IROKOtv . Extremely disappointed that this has carried on for over a month, can’t even utilize my subscription.

The ability to be able to pick up where you left off, rewind without the movie pausing, unsubscribe from IROKOtv , actually add a pic of yourself, and get a movie description are just a few things that would make IROKOtv better. I'm afraid too, that I will watch everything on here before my three months are up. The movies are crisp and clear. More movie selections would be great. I'm happy with the price and that there is a app like this. I know that in time it will improve😁

As a fan of Nollywood movies, I’m grateful for streaming services like this app but IROKOtv has certain problems. The auto play function has a life of its own. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. this app needs to work on a “continue watching” feature so that people can continue what they were watching if they exit IROKOtv and go back. IROKOtv has a lot of movies that are no longer available but when you search for them, they’re listed, you can even play the videos, but when you play them, you get a message that the video is unavailable. Also, IROKOtv developers should try and put IROKOtv on Roku because I only use Roku devices and i can’t watch this app on my TVs so I have to watch on my phone and laptop and this is really annoying because I’d like to watch the movies on my TVs.

If you are getting this it is good to watch on your laptop. This apple does not work well with Apple TV. After downloading IROKOtv on Apple TV, and pausing a movie, you are stuck on a black screen. In order to continue the movie or even exit out, you have to delete IROKOtv from Apple TV and then re-download IROKOtv , and start from scratch.

We trying to support this business, but it is really going down hill your try and do something about this before you guys start losing customers, sometimes it take so long for new movies to come up, the movies are not downloading at all for months now, is anyone experiencing this?

I am trying to update IROKOtv as required but every time I hit the update button, it takes me to the " today page” and then takes me right back to the page that says “update”. What is really going on with this update thing?

I subscribed to IROKOtv last year. I believe IROKOtv is underpriced because to match the likes of Netflix in programming quality you need to spend more on making the movies. 5 star still. Fire burn haters.

Fantastic. We Africans and Africa, we do not need the world. The world has always needs us. Our stories alone, especially in the villages where our navel strings are planted, lol is in enough to sustain us if we dare and believe. I’m a Sierra Leonean.

Totally enjoyed watching. I knew that skinny girl with the tattoos was problem from the beginning.
Wish there was something you could write your comments on though when watching your movies

Since the last two updates I am unable to cast on my TV via Apple TV. It’s just not working. If this is fixed I won’t be updating IROKOtv when next I get an update to do so...it’s so frustrating. 2+ weeks and I can’t watch anything...please fix

Why wasn’t there any response to the questions asked on December 1 and on December 22? I am having the same issues right now. Why can’t I view movies or even access IROKOtv at all when I’m paying? This message would also not go through unless I rate IROKOtv more than one star. This is ridiculous!!.

Immediately after I pitched this app to my coworkers they all subscribed. Now 3+me that’s 4, but guess what, we haven’t been able to access IROKOtv for about a week now. The customer service agent told us to uninstall and reinstall but it only got worse because now we can’t login.

Netflix has a hot competition right here, IROKOtv is all you need for a fantastic movie experience. Through out the quarantine and beyond, IROKOtv kept me mind and oils together; great and simple user friendly interface, easy to navigate software. It’s just 6 starts tbh.

When I used IROKOtv on my Samsung in worked perfectly fine but on my iPhone it keeps making me renter my login details. My login details don’t even save automatically to my phone and I have to retype. It’s not cool. Pls fix IROKOtv for iPhones. I’ve been using this app since it launched, I love the movies but I’m reconsidering renewing my subscription

Irokotv is a rip off, for months they have refused to post new movies, I ve watched most of the movies but they kept saying there are movies in the App you have not watched. I normally pay yearly subscription, it's was just 5 months into the subscription, I requested to pay for 6 months and get a refund for the other 6 months, they completely refused.

Horrible, i pay for subscription, and that was the day Irokotv stop streaming movie. I have not been on it since then cause i have watched 99% of the movies. I reached out to them and all I was told is that the are movies that i have not watched, I should go and watch them.

Since the last couple of weeks movies are not being renewed. The app freezes at regular intervals and some movies do not play at all or even download.
