Criminal company

I advice people to stop using Airtel Services they are criminals and and never tend to your problem. Even in this pandemic Airtel stole my money. When my digital tv account was suspended I recharged 200 and when I got home I realized the service didn’t come up and was still suspended and then I checked balance it was 145 instead of 200 and was wondering why. I tried calling their customer service all but to no avail. I went back and tip with 150 and then it came up. The balance on settings on tv was showing 350 but the balance on Airtel app was showing a lower amount. How on earth can the same account be showing different balance on phone and on tv. After one week they cut it off instead leaving it for about a week plus. They don’t even give you promotions. Even in this pandemic they still stole my money. I curse Airtel it will never be well with Airtel and I hope they run out of business. In times like this pandemic they are supposed to give customers free view or even do promotions instead they steal your money. Airtel is a criminal company and they are fraud sucking customer money I hate Airtel and I hope they crash and run out of business someday soon. Fraud telecommunication company

This has to be the worse customer service ever in the world. Customer service here does not provide results to tour problems. They pass you on to the next person. I called customer service and was told to email my scanned visa. That in 4 hours my phone will work. The email said to take it to the store. When I did that they told me the system is down and been down for 4 days. No help there. I wrote again to Imran Momin and ended up getting an email from Roopa Krishnamurthy saying I’ve been disconnected and to start over. Like a new customer. I wrote back and asked about my post pay and if that is also closed. Instead of getting an answer. I got an email that said “request xxxxxx has been closed call customer service”. So it starts all over again. No answer to questions just the run around. How disappointing. I will take my service else where and tell friends that stormer care really don’t care. The airtel app is useless also. It’s only good if you pay your bills. That’s it! Can’t wait to delete that app. Customer care service is about the customer and taking care if the problems not give them the run around.

Billing incorrect for Air tel Home connection one bill

I recently got Airtel home connection assuming that one bill for DTH, Broadband and three mobile connections with one land line connection. Though the package was promoted as on bill, I did get one additional bill to one of the mobile connection as an extra payment to be made. called customer care center but no one resolved my bill issue and due date is today and waiting fir response. Sir tell customer support is poor to resolve billing disputes.

Any new package marketed, Airtel never stream line process at one place to deal with customer queries.

Unable to use Airtel service in USA

I’m a postpaid customer. Airtel folks sold me this SIM saying it’ll work with international roaming service. I’ve enabled international roaming on my phone as well as Airtel app. I primarily need this for OTP purpose. It worked once, but it is pretty much dead and I’m unable to use it. I’ll cancel this service if Airtel cannot provide me roaming service.

Also, AirtelApp is very lame, I cannot chat with live person and cannot call anyone. I had opened a case with this issue, but they close the ticket twice without any notes. Customers should at least be able to chat with a live person for issues.

Kyc wallet cash back 51

Most stupid option ever on airtel to make people fool to open kyc wallet and getting cash back of 51/-rs on it and when I open a kyc wallet there’s no cash back after waiting for 20 mins then I managed to call team member then they say I couldn’t get any cash back coz I opened it with linking to my aadhar card and it wasn’t shown anywhere on promotion poster and then I Ask the team member how to close kyc wallet and they said I can’t close it coz they have no option oh man how stupid is this to make people stupid on getting cash back after opening kyc wallet and when u open it there’s no cash back and they’ll have there normal excuses of stuffing people around

Worst service ever. I am Airtel customer since more than 12 years. I am back to india and noticed that again I am facing data balance issue in AirtelApp as I had faced in 2017 before leaving country.
Even though I am not using services outside india, I am paying for monthly rentals since years. But when I come to india I always have the frustration from Airtel about data balance and charges.
Now I see 63 gb data balance on Airtelthanks app. (Around 6 GB from current plan and around 56 gb from rollover data).
But when I called customer service today, I got to know that I only had 1 gb data and it’s also already exhausted. No one is able to tell him any more details about 63 gb data I see on myairtel app. I don’t want to pay anything extra because of AIRTEL mistakes.

This is very much frustrating as I am paying services for years to retain the number and not getting any use of it.

Have sent email to 121 and nodal
Officials but nothing sorted yet.

i will file complaint in consumer court for the frustration.

Cannot validate account

When I enter my router number, I am sent OTP. When I enter it, it returns an error. So I CANNOT establish my account to see my usage or pay my bills.. When I called, they gave me a complaint number which was to be closed in 24 hours. Nothing happened. I called and same thing happened second time. Then I wrote an email to them. They sent me another complaint number they will close in 4 days. Now I get an sms that it is resolved and if I am not happy I should contact Appellate! IT IS NOT RESOLVED. What ,customer service??? They must have the most INCOMPETENT IT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Now, I have to contact Appellate to get the most BASIC issue- ability of customer to establish an account in AirtelApp!

Poor customer service

Tech made mistake of not marking as 3 months prepaid service due to which acquired installation fee after I paid full amount upfront when I called customer service first time they didn’t even open a ticket next time they opened a ticket but still no solution on their commitment. These network companies loot money with colorful offers and they won’t fix the issue when we complaint. WiFi Modern they provided have very bad network coverage inside 2 Bhk flat. You will see only one bar inside the rooms. Some one will respond promptly but again solution won’t be achieved and you have to call customer service and they will disconnect when u ask any question.

Tells me to download app when on the app.

Literally cant do anything, it tells me to download AirtelApp to do stuff while I am on AirtelApp . Otherwise, almost impossible to reach you with my vodafone number. Wanted to change my plan from 40mbps to unlimited 8mbps, same price, and id get the same speed coz in my bldg i dont get max 8mbps, as told by the installation guy. I was redirected 3 times when i called and explained this simple thing again each time, and they either couldnt find the pack(which I literally directed them to where they can on AirtelApp ) or they could just not change it. Have been trying for 2 weeks for just changing a pack now and still no luck. Had no idea airtel was such a headache.

Worst network

I got a response from Sujata from Airtel company and she telling me to contact with Airtel thanks App,are they thinking we don’t know what to do, before writing a bad review we always do complaints to the company, and not only one time I did this multiple time like six to seven times but their response is vary bad . Please do some thing improve tour service and solve customer problem.

I am using this network more then 10 year but nowadays I think Airtel days are gone, and time to switch to some other company because network of Airtel is very bad totally waste of money. And when call to customer care they just saying we will solve your problem and not fixing any problem,

Useless app!

The technician are not qualified to solve any of the issues. The call center is a joke, they have absolutely no authority what so ever to help with my issues. I have an service not working issue pending from 1month and they are unable to fix it. Their thank you support email ID inbox also does not work. The mails bounces back saying the inbox is full.

Update and reply to Airtel developers: The airtel thank your support email inbox is full, what kind of support are you provided, it’s quite shameful that the very basic things are not checked. Please send an email from your personal ID to thanks support and see what happens. I would also say please try to read the issue before closing and getting a ticket count!!

Worst Service

I am having internet issue from 2 days Customer service is saying their technician team will visit today but their technical team is not visiting and they are just making excuses and that’s not all I got Wi-Fi connection just before 9 to 10 days in these days I faced 2 days of Internet issue and 2 days of outage In just 10 days and I don’t know their technical team will visit or not or this will continue for 6 months the worst service I have seen my neighbor has jio Fiber they have connection from 1 year they didn’t faced any issue since installation and one more person have Multinet Fiber they also got same Internet issue but their technical team visited the Same day and here Airtel is just having worst service

Horrible network and broadband

Airtel has gone from horrible to worst when I thought it can’t get any worse. I’m paying ₹1700 a month and basically been getting 5-8 mbps (it’s been as bad as 0.8 mbps). when my plan says 40 mbps. I have complained multiple times, and the technicians don’t visit your home but do something in the basement that works for few days and then back to slow speed.

Today the technician arrived to fix it and disappeared by making it even worse - zero internet connection. He said something is wrong with the connection in the entire society, but when challenged, he said the issue is just with mine. Basically, he does t know what needs to be done. They have been looting for many years with horrible service. Time to change and raise complaint with consumer court.

Not helpful

AirtelApp is not helpful at all. At least not for customer care issues. 121 tells you to ‘register’ your complaints on AirtelApp. AirtelApp has a lousy circular interface on which lodging an actual complaint is not possible. All you can do is ‘diagnose issues which does not solve anything. I had requested for a switch from prepaid to postpaid two days ago. Since yesterday morning I have literally ‘No Service’ on my phone. I tried calling 121 but there is no human interface there and they keep telling you to ‘register’ a complaint on AirtelApp. And on AirtelApp when I try to ‘diagnose’ the issue. I am asked if I am in a ‘problematic area’ when I write ‘no’, AirtelApp sends me an error message saying ‘Oops! Please be in the area where you’re facing a connectivity issue!’. This is super frustrating and is such a farcical exercise.

Airtel please do better.

Delay

honestly i only used AirtelApp mostly to check how much daily data is left so that i can know when to stop using my internet so that i can save it for other things when 10% is left or something. But it delays so much???? like???
it'll go from 2gb to 1.5 gb but it wont show that in AirtelApp even if i close and open AirtelApp , and then suddenly after i continue using my data thinking i didnt spend much then it will finally ahow that i have less than what i expected. Like atleast show me accurately and if u cant then honestly whats the point of that feature in AirtelApp ??? like great thanks for telling me my daily data is over as if i didnt find out when my net stopped working. like what even

Don’t use your time with this app

Recharging your phone, checking the balance or if you need to buy a new DTH connection all works well if you spend money on airtel except when after the installation all the damages start. So I booked an Xtreme Set top and got 7 days free for all live channels for 2250/- which I thought was a good deal and after 7 days it would be 646/- per month. But when I checked the airtel website it showed 3999/- for an Xtreme box and “ONE YEAR FREE” live TV channels. So this the way airtel cheats customers on the Airtel app.
And after the 7 days it automatically got updated to some Tamil package Kerala, when I see only English channels.
No need to use airtel App, just follow the website of any other Service provider who doesn’t give wrong Sales options like Jio.

Offer many features but still missing the key one

Thank you for offering so many features within AirtelApp but as a frequent International traveler, am missing the key feature of activating eSIM from within AirtelApp . Like some International carriers, it should be available within AirtelApp , to those who logged in with their email.

The lack of that feature not allowing me to switch to iPhone 14 because if during a trip in foreign country my iPhone lost or broken there is no way to activate the eSIM to new iPhone.

Please, please bring this option to AirtelApp . Thanks!

Works great Except Need Auto Recharge option

Why cant I set my App to do Auto recharge when the validity expires. I should also be anle to set my default option for example the wallet. Right now every time I have to manually recharhe.. When I recharge, I should be able to save that option and set Auto recharge to do the same after every expiry time. Pl provide Auto recharge so there is one less to hing for me to remember and worry about.

Great App, Good Service

Easy to use. The new pricing is competitive. It would be wonderful if the opening screen included घनयवाद and thank you in all the official languages.

However AirtelApp is not integrated with other services. For instance it is not integrated with the payment module. After I got the payment successful text message I got the following notification - recharge pending, complete payment now! This leads to other issues. For example the reminder app accesses AirtelApp and calls to remind since the expiration date is not updated. The 121 app is integrated with the payment module and provides the updated expiration date. So dear software engineers please integrate AirtelApp with the payment moḍule and hopefully the reminder app will not be notified to remind.

Intuitive app

I like the fact when I log into AirtelApp , I get to see the basic info that we all normally look for, right upfront. Bill pay is very easy. Absolutely amazed at how good their post paid package is compared to JIO. Please continue to be competitive. My big complain with the service provider is the coverage, which I am sure they are actively working to improve.
