The app also allows you to plan your trip so you can get step by step directions for how to go (using local bus or METRORail), how long it’s expected to take, and a link to the METRO Q Ticketing app where you can purchase a ticket to ride with a credit card, PayPal, Google Pay or Apple Pay.
As part of your trip planning, you can take advantage of the app’s unique My Stop Technology, a personal trip guide that uses Bluetooth to link your app to thousands of beacons in the METRO service area.

The official METRO TRIP app is a personalized navigation tool that allows you to quickly and easily manage your trip on Local bus, Park & Ride bus, METRORail or METRORapid. It requires a cellular network or wireless connection. By allowing the app to access your location, an interactive map automatically detects nearby bus, rail and METRORapid routes – along with estimated arrival times. When you use the app to plan a trip, it becomes your personal guide. Depending on your settings, you’ll receive either on-screen notifications or pulse vibrations when you’re approaching your: • Starting bus stop or rail platform • Transfer point (if applicable) • Destination bus stop or rail platform Just plan your trip and watch or listen to your phone to monitor progress. For the most part, this app is accurate.
It shows where the busses are located at exactly (the green busses) are the ones you want to search for to know when the next one will be approaching your bus stop. Sometimes, there are delays but it should still be accurate and not far off. I like this app is VERY convenient to get around especially if you are on a time bind. It will tell you specifically when the next bus is coming even if a delay happens. Y’all should get this app if you guys ride the Metro. Super convenient honestly. It shows you the routes the bus number is taking and the path and all the stops etc. If you are lost this is another way to quickly find where you are. It’s like a GPS as well as a bus scheduler put into 1.

Works well
Most of the time the app works fine sometimes it freezes or crashes.

Not designed by a bus rider.
There are no words to describe how frustrating it is to needlessly stand in the rain for twenty minutes because this app has gives no alert when the busses/trains stop running.
