My app 'The Grint' is corrupt: it won't stop attempting to reload previous posted camara pictured score cards. One date that appears to be attempted over-and-over again was '5-7-2024'. I don't know why. The only thing that I did that day the application failed was when I deleted Some previous photos of past score from my Picture folder. Beware that I don't know how to retrieve previously deleted files. If this is by design it is poorly designed. It would require the Grint Member to for ever keep the photos of previous rounds. This nuts! How do we fix this. CuAo...David H.

The app on my iPhone 12 opens but closes abruptly after I enter the course played and myself as the player and press "next" to start entering my score. This closure of the app has repeated several times. Thank you in anticipation for your solution

The screen glitching, black, and white. I’m not able to keep score on my I watch anymore. When I put the score on my watch, it doesn’t go to the next hole and it does not appear on my phone. It’s just glitching all through the whole round.

yesterday playing a round and random friends kept appearing on my scorecard, and would even reappear after I had deleted them. Last week, used the app the whole round on a course, all went well until I uploaded the score when it suddenly recorded the score on a different course!

I played a round today. When trying to look at green reading on my approach to see the contours of the green, as soon as I select it the green flashes then goes away and the app completely freezes. I have to exit the app and restart it to continue my round. Attempted multiple times and app keeps freezing. Nice app that I’m paying for….

I ended my round, shows I have no unfinished rounds but it shows I have 2 live scores, that I cannot delete. Also shows I have 1 unread message but nothing. This app is so glitchy!!!

Cannot load my usual course (Glevum Course, Brickhampton, Gloucestershire, UK) today. Usually works without problem. Can select course and holes to be played, but then does not progress. Just get the ‘rotating circle of doom’. Tried loading the other Brickhampton course (Spa) and that won’t load either. However, another local course, Cleeve Hill, does load.

How to fix TheGrint app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the TheGrint app on iPhone
Update TheGrint app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall TheGrint iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix TheGrint on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve TheGrint network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

TheGrint Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix TheGrint not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the TheGrint App
1. On android, goto Settings » TheGrint » click [Force Stop]

Update TheGrint to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear TheGrint App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » TheGrint » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart TheGrint.

Fix TheGrint unable to contact server/ TheGrint internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click TheGrint » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto TheGrint » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch TheGrint
