Just awful

Was pulled into 5KRunmeterRunWalkTraining because I wanted it to connect to My Fitness Pal. Big mistake. Overly complicated screens actually don’t provide good functionality - for example, you can only select the first of three workouts of the week on the right-hand nav of one screen. UX is clearly not a priority ...best example being the Apple Watch screen...when in use, the shoe logo is huge on the watch screen - but the data about your workout is in mouse type, rendering it literally unusable.
And I have to go to settings to tell it I am on a treadmill? Well, duh. If I have GPS on and a run program is active and I am recording steps, I must be on a treadmill.
App never tracked my run even with GPS on and great signal (and it knew where I was starting).
Wasted $9.99. Back to Fitness 22’s training apps.

A perfect companion for my training

I have been using 5KRunmeterRunWalkTraining almost daily since I started running back in January and I absolutely love the daily paces within the 5K plan. I use 5KRunmeterRunWalkTraining on off days to time my walks. 5KRunmeterRunWalkTraining syncs very well with MFP. Another great feature of 5KRunmeterRunWalkTraining is that I have it set up to alert my wife by email when I go out for a run, so she is able to see where I'm at in case there are any problems.

I have gone all the way through the 5K training plan once, started over after a knee injury, and I'm about to finish my second time through the plan. I'm looking forward to continuing into the 10K plan...and then onto the half-marathon!

Couldn’t even create an account.

Took me longer to download, then it took them to come up with an Advertisement. I couldn’t even create an account before an advertisement for Intuit pop up. The screen then froze on the advertisement and I couldn’t do anything.

Best there is.

Runmeter is hands down the best app for monitoring your sports. Make sure you don't try 5KRunmeterRunWalkTraining first before trying others because you will be severally let down by the rest of the selection in 5KRunmeterRunWalkTraining Store. The level of adjustment, accuracy, and control over your information is second to none.

It's so good in fact, that I blindly bought 5KRunmeterRunWalkTraining when I saw it come out. My only question is, why did I buy it? I haven't seen a single feature or benefit over the regular Runmeter app.

Don't let my lack of research keep you from buying this, you won't find anything better.

No its the best app for runningWARNING NO ALERTS

All the goodies come with the upgrade!!!!! Why don’t they tell you that. Maps your run. Set it to alert you when you are half way done—my favorite just start running when the halfway alert comes on turn back. Play your music even skip songs. If you stop (to give directions, wait for a traffic light) it stops the timer and starts again when you are moving. Much better than Nike app.
I apologize for my initial review of the free app below!!!
WHO WOULD USE A RUNNING APP WITH NO ALERTS. HAVE TO HOLD YOUR PHONE IN YOUR HAND AND KEEP CHECKING TO SEE WHEN TO RUN AND WHEN TO WALK. WASTE OF A RUN!!!!

Great App with Great Customer Service

5KRunmeterRunWalkTraining is wonderful! It is helping me achieve my 5k goal. I had a problem getting the elite version on my phone. When I contacted customer service, they quickly worked with me to resolve my issue. It keeps my history, tells me when to run/walk, provides a map of where I ran. 5KRunmeterRunWalkTraining can do so much more, and I can't wait to learn to utilize it to its full potential.

Dislike

5KRunmeterRunWalkTraining basically doesn't have any features. 5KRunmeterRunWalkTraining pushes the elite membership even before loading 5KRunmeterRunWalkTraining . The large advertisement that takes over your phone screen is annoying. Could not close 5KRunmeterRunWalkTraining advertisement. Every time the menu or settings are used an ad appears & the ad can't be closed. Really, advertisements while setting up 5KRunmeterRunWalkTraining . Would not pay for an elite membership. Plus the way the large ad was displayed and the fact that 5KRunmeterRunWalkTraining had to be closed to stop the ad makes me not want to use 5KRunmeterRunWalkTraining and will be deleting this and any other app from these developers will not be considered.

Super Configurable

I've used 5KRunmeterRunWalkTraining for approx 2 months and I keep finding new adjustments I can make to provide me insights to my marathon training. Truly an amazing app. Take the time to carefully read the help section and you'll be greatly rewarded and amazed as to how great 5KRunmeterRunWalkTraining is. The adjustments and customizations you can make are A+

Has potential

Having used several similar apps, there are features that I miss in 5KRunmeterRunWalkTraining. During a trial run, it did not give me voice prompts. There is also no option to skip ahead. (I had done first 3 weeks in a different app and couldn't find a way to skip first 2 weeks). The map and reports look nice. I won't upgrade to paid version because of the above mentioned limitations .

Great app!

I've been using this on the Marathon Plan for 10 weeks and just ran my first half marathon almost 7 minutes ahead of my goal. I love the control over the split alerts and the maps have always been very accurate.

By

Get this!

I've been using this for months and its been an invaluable tool for my running training. You can't go wrong with this one. I use it for every run and am currently using the 1/2 Marathon training program. 5 stars all the way.

Great app well designed

I really like all of the features of 5KRunmeterRunWalkTraining and that it is available on my Apple Watch as well this makes it very easy to use. Has excellent features coaching and pacing over the weeks.

Don't Spend the Money

I bit and bought the $10 upgrade. Mistake. First, that $10 only gets you one year. Second, the voices are exremely limited, and for the money, I don't want to listen to Siri or one of her international counterparts. A review I read led me to believe there were many various voices to choose from. Nope. And finally, the clock and stats on the Apple Watch app did not keep up at all. Waste of funds.

Awesome!

5KRunmeterRunWalkTraining is great. I literally went from couch to more than 10k. I ran 8 miles last week, and I am doing my 10k today! 5KRunmeterRunWalkTraining gives attainable goals and keeps pushing me to grow. Can't wait to begin training for my first half!

By

Love it

Thought I was going to die on the first week, now that I am on week 8, I am amazed that I can run 2 miles and I am losing weight. Excellent app! I keep learning more about it and love it

By

Horrible.

I tried 5KRunmeterRunWalkTraining and thought it was simple in the trial. The advertisements for the elite made 5KRunmeterRunWalkTraining look like it can do so much more. So I bought it. Big mistake. It does nothing more except link with fitness pal. Waste of money I should have stayed in the trial. The way they word the advertisements makes you think you can take a bike ride with 5KRunmeterRunWalkTraining or choose the other programs but you can't. 5KRunmeterRunWalkTraining is terrible.

By

Options!

Great app with different training plan options! A few too many bells and whistles for me but does exactly what I need.

By

Disappointing

I was excited to start training. The fact that I had to keep looking at my screen to know when to switch from walk to run was annoying. I don't want to pay for a feature that would allow a simple alert when I'm just a beginner.
