Cleartrip used to be the place to go but sadly, that is not the case anymore. The prices have gone up and they’ve become somewhat greedy. Sharing and selling customer information in order to make money. Not a good idea. I know many people that have stopped using Cleartrip because of this. I’m now forced to use flight network and cheapoair to book my tickets because Cleartrip prices have gone way up! It’s really not good to do this to your long time customers. You’re going to loose business doing such things in the long run because people will leave negative reviews for you. CleartripFlightsHotelsBus updates are almost completely useless as well. Not to mention, that they charge a convenience fee!?!?!!! When you’re booking a flight form Cleartrip they charge you a desperate convenience fee which no other website does... That is how they steal from you without you even knowing about it. No other website or business that I’m aware of charges a convenience fee. They don’t tell you about it until you’ve picked your flight and you’re ready to pay for it... Suddenly, it pops up and says that you have to pay a convenience fee which can be anywhere from 30-50AED depending on the price of your flight. Ridiculous and outrageous. I’ll never be using Cleartrip again because of the things that they do. Greedy business that does not care about their customers.

I’ve been trying for days to register an account on both CleartripFlightsHotelsBus and the website to no avail. How hard is it in 2021 to operate a reliable website…basic technology even a sixth-grader could accomplish. At every turn, all you’ll get are error messages. Funniest part of it all, got an error message on the site even submitting a feedback to support about all the error messages received.

No way to contact their support, in current time that’s really poor. They showed seats available , when they were not on AI site. They deducted money and said payment did not go through.

I had problem with my booking they cancel the flight and didn’t inform me , after several emails nobody is answering me , and even no contact number to call regarding complaining , they just promising that they will solve the issue but nothing till now

I had to cancel my flight tickets on March 20 due to corona pandemic, then coming to the refund, they made me wait for 60 days and it’s May 20, still haven’t got the refund. When email cleartrip, they said Cathayapcific airlines is not responding to them. So I called Cathaypacific airlines global customer care and got to know that cleartrip haven’t cancelled my tickets yet and they kept my tickets open. And then I tried to contact cleartrip mentioning the same, and at this stage cleartrip stopped responding to my emails because they knew that they were just deceiving me by keeping me waited for more than 2 months and giving stupid reasons every time. This is how cleartrip service is. Guys, I request everyone to book tickets with their trusted travel agent or if possible directly with the airlines. NEVER CHOOSE CLEARTRIP FOR YOUR TRAVEL. THEY WILL MESS UP EVERYTHING. YOU WILL BE PSYCHOLOGICALLY TORCHURED. Please save yourself.

All was well with the three trips I booked on CleartripFlightsHotelsBus until I needed customer service. The service is absolutely non-existent. You have to chase down help, no call-backs, no response to emails, no solutions. I will never use CleartripFlightsHotelsBus again and definitely won’t recommend anyone else to use it based on this single experience.

I booked a hotel and it said we have put rs 2591 in your wallet- promotional 30% off
I then booked a flight
And it showed me that this rs 2491 had been applied to the date
So I then paid the balance with my credit card. But the receipt shows the whole amount of the ticket was charged (except for FLYSAVE) and not the net amount after the wallet money
So in effect you cheated

They’re doing a monkey business, you may book a hotel then they charge you credit card instantly, then CleartripFlightsHotelsBus gives you an error message with no detail about the reason even when you call the unprofessional customer services, and who’s know when they give you your money back!

If you want to waste your money, you can buy tickets from this company. Specially in this ever changing environment of Covid as there change and refund system is total crap. Flights cancelled due to pandemic restriction by different countries are being charged to customer by cleartrip (looting people money) as in my case other people who booked on same airline directly got full refund. Better to book online directly with your airline to avoid cheating by this company. Every airline has online booking facility now.

I requested to reschedule my booking and the customer service put me in hold in international call for more than 30min and after putting me in hold for more than 4 times they told me it will cost me more than 500$, so surely I rejected as it is more than the value of the original ticket, and later I managed to reschedule directly with the airlines in less than 100$.
What a miserable Operations and customer service.
Later I tried to put my review for them on an email, but their application was full of bugs unable me to send my review 🙄

I booked with them three tickets to India from US. My flight was cancelled and they kept my money. Basically thieves mascarating as a travel agency. They don’t have emergency customer care. You have to make an appointment just to speak with them, they call you back after two hours. If you are in an emergency, tough luck. If you are not from India (even if you are) forget it. The techs (Indian) are clueless and the ones who are competent enough just give you the run around. I hope you read these reviews and decide otherwise. Throw your money off a bridge before booking with these bandits (cough) I mean agents are criminal.

I have had multiple bad experiences with this company.

A friend wanted to change his flight to the same day due to an emergency but was not able to do so online. He called the CS and the guy said that he will get back ASAP but never did. My friend had to buy a new $800 ticket separately due to this.

Another instance...the airline changed the travel time and we got an email from clear trip that we needed to confirm the new timings by calling. Our cell plan didn't have outgoing calls so we emailed the customer service and never got a reply. We also didn't have access to the updated ticket on the website.

CleartripFlightsHotelsBus is great but recently had the unpleasant experience. 5 minutes after booking a ticket to London I get an email from a third party offering international SIM cards and plans for ‘my trip to London’. The same third party called me a couple of days later to make the same offer. I asked them where they got my email and number. It was from Cleartrip. These guys are already taking a commission; not sure why they have to sell customer data as well. After several emails to support there is no response.

Does its job. Happy with it for years. However I miss the calendar matrix as in kayak or Orbitz. Hopefully developers will add it. I gave 4 stars as this is without calendar.

CleartripFlightsHotelsBus shows stupid wannabe error message "Aww something snapped"... simply moronic. Then if you try to give feedback t does not let you put in your email and register the feedback. Is CleartripFlightsHotelsBus shut or they just have a crappy App / IT support !!!
