Terrible app

This is a thin wrapper around their website. Not designed for mobile at all. Buttons are too small to tap, often text has to be zoomed to read.

The screenshots are a lie, it has no biometric support and mobile deposits are completely missing.

Whichever 3rd party they want through for this, they should get a refund and replace. Useless!

Terrible Banking app

Having transactions posted in red led me to believe I had overdrawn my account. I called support in a state of panic and wasted their time and mine trying to decipher my account balance. No financial institution should post withdrawals in red.

Also I could not access more than one month’s activity. They kept saying it was my devices at fault. Both my phone and IPad?!!!

Don’t try to fix CBi. Whoever developed it needs to start over. Bad function all the way around. I have deleted it.

Why did you change your app provider?

The previous Centreville banking app was great. It was easy to use, it had Touch ID, and it did everything you needed it to do.

This new app is absolutely atrocious. It’s a poor port-over of a website page, it’s slow as heck and it feels awful to use. Please make a dedicated UI for CBi instead of whatever this garbage website port-over is.

Can’t open an account from the app

CBi is defective in that you can’t open a checking account from CBi . You are required to review a series of documents, and when you open one there is no way to close it and continue the process. Tried to open it via the link in the browser and that also wasn’t recognized. CBi was obviously not properly tested. Piece of junk!

WORST APP EVER

I can’t even register for CBi when I hit the agree button it says I have to read the disclosures but yet there isn’t anywhere to click to read the disclosures, so I went back to home page clicked on disclosures opened it and skimmed through. After that I went back to register and still says the same thing. I’m at a lost here. Never had so much trouble registering on an app. Worst banking app I’ve ever seen can’t even say had because I never actually have had CBi because it won’t let me register

Garbage app

Network constantly not connecting. Trying to transfer money to my son at school the other day and nothing would go thru. Just garbage. No other bank I have has such connectivity issues.

Terrible since last update

Current version is terrible. Super slow. Unresponsive at times. Crashes and closes at times. CBi was perfectly fine - zero complaints - before the most recent update.

Sign in issues

I have never used a banking app that crashes this much or has some kind of maintenance going on for several hours sometimes days. Should not have to deal with that while trying to look at my bank account

New App, not great

I feel like the new app isn’t to the level the previous one was at. Only being able to scroll through the selected month and not just history is annoying. I appreciate the breakers but you could’ve left a continuous scroll with those month breakers in while allowing you to jump to a specific month.

Also, the color choice on the font being orange-red is trash. Why would I want to think my whole account is going negative? You know that color is associated with negative, should’ve left it black.

Also with the colors, having the deposited money amount be the same color as the general font/ red, what were you thinking? Leave it green like a normal money related app. I just opened CBi and thought I was owing money. Please fix this.

Sign-in issues

Currently my Centreville Bank app has been having issues when logging in. First, CBi scans my face which logs me in but then kicks me out after 15 seconds. Then, when I get kicked out I type in my credentials which says wrong password but when I try the exact password again, I am able to enter my bank account. This issue has been going on for a couple months now. The login process is way too tedious to do every time I try logging in. So, if there is any possible way I can fix this issue on my side that would be great but I’m unsure how to do so. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I am very excited about CBi. It makes things so much easier. However,it would be great to get an iPad app that gives the full picture of your statement after each transaction. Looking forward to that happening.

CBi is great and if I ever have any questions or concerns the staff in the Putnam, CT Branch are very helpful and patient.

New app

The new app is so much harder to navigate than the old one. I really liked using the original app but this one leaves a lot to be desired. Not easy to use and keeps freezing on a page telling the info is not available or has been deleted. Had to delete and reinstall twice because it froze. Not mobile phone friendly.

Great but can use my touch ID

Great app, easy to use. However, I have been having problems with my touch ID. It wont let me sign in with it. Also, the picture on the main screen takes too long to load and I find very unnecessary. Overall, CBi is still really good and is very straightforward.

App freeze!

Numerous times while trying to navigate through CBi , the page froze and I’ve had to delete CBi only to download it again to resume my task. No longer can I use my fingerprint either. Bottom line it’s terrible!

Bank App

Very user friendly.

Putnam bank

I love Putnam bank open 7 days a week- always available to answer questions - and always open!!! Been there for 15 Years and wouldn't change a thing---

Excellent initial release. Easy to navigate.

Perhaps make today's date the default payment date rather than having it empty. Also, make it possible to edit payees?

Very easy to use and helpful!

CBi works fast so you can easily and quickly transfer money and pay bills. All the actions are made immediately! No lag time at all!

So easy to use!!

I especially like how easy it is to transfer between accounts.
