- The documentation for the app's modifications is complicated and obtuse.

- The app no longer allows for creating lists the way users want to.

- Deleted items are gone forever and need to be retyped.

on my shopping list if i tap on an item i've bought to cross it off (JUST CROSS it off because i will want the item to uncross when i need to buy it again)... anylist NOW (hadn't had this problem in the past) deletes the item... gone goodbye... please help! love your program carol

How to fix AnyList app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the AnyList app on iPhone
Update AnyList app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall AnyList iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix AnyList on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve AnyList network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

AnyList Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix AnyList not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the AnyList App
1. On android, goto Settings » AnyList » click [Force Stop]

Update AnyList to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear AnyList App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » AnyList » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart AnyList.

Fix AnyList unable to contact server/ AnyList internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click AnyList » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto AnyList » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch AnyList
