Been using FloorplanFinder for over 2 years off and on building out our house plan. Started small and kept building over time. Most recent used it to build out an addition. Don’t mind creating an account. Love the mobile version to show people when I’m talking with them about the addition. There are some oddities working with a roof but other than that I like it and recommend it.

FloorplanFinder has great potential but it needs a few updates. You need to create an account in order to create anything however you must zoom in a tremendous amount to move a wall. There aren’t any dedicated rooms now it would be amazing if you could actually see anything when you move to 3D.

FloorplanFinder seems to have potential however it is very frustrating to use. I don’t think the developers haven’t done any user testing. I have been looking for an app that does something similar but I want to easily put in some dimensions for a wall and this crappy app makes that very difficult to do. I should just use Visio.

It’s good in all but I was kinda looking forward to creating a house or a design but I’m not sure how to do that so my rateing is staying two stars until then

Title says it all. I do my designs on desktop but they’re easier to navigate for showing others on the mobile app but now it crashes every time you switch to 3D mode. Used to love FloorplanFinder, but without that functionality, what’s it good for?

FloorplanFinder is view only, no edits. And 3D view not available for me, it keeps crashing almost every single time. The last app update looks like a year ago, not sure if they’ve just abandoned FloorplanFinder . Please update, I would love to use an app version.

I used to LOVE FloorplanFinder. Haven’t used it in a while. I was very excited to use it for a new project. Whatever you’ve done in the last couple years ruined it. It’s no longer user friendly.

Wish I could actually edit the floor plans on my phone instead of having to go onto my computer to do. Otherwise app is basically pointless just for you to view the projects you have.

I’d love to enjoy FloorplanFinder but it keeps kicking me out and would also like to be able to edit using mobile app.

I logged into the desktop site with my Apple ID, but in only getting the options to log in with a google sign in or a floorplanner account. Kinda makes FloorplanFinder useless if I can’t access my account.

You have to create an account to design in it.

Glorified view finder for iPad or iMac doesn’t have a iOS version drafting feature. Useless unless your showing off you work with friends at the bar.... useless.

Don’t download FloorplanFinder if you’re making a house plan. It doesn’t feature a creator mode

I really like FloorplanFinder. It works well when I need to show a business owner how they should change the layout of their business. Logging in to google also helps with keeping connected. It's fairly fast for FloorplanFinder to work and no wait time for the projects to appear.

My only issue with FloorplanFinder is that I can't change the project when I open it on my iPad. It's only in view mode and doesn't allow me to change it unless I go on to my computer. This becomes a problem when the customer wants me to make a quick change on the arrangements and I'm not able to see how it would look right in front of them. I have to reschedule and waste time having to go back and forth with having to use the iPad and my laptop.

I'm only going to keep FloorplanFinder because it opens files quickly and it easier to carry the iPad than my laptop.

Crashes within 30seconds every time I use

I have used this floorplanner and others, but this one surpassed them all! That is if you use them online and not via IPad! Love, love, love this website and was excited to see FloorplanFinder . We are soon hoping that you Floorplanner App designers will get FloorplanFinder up to date. Your creation, ease of use, 3-D images, the whole thing is awesome and I can't say enough good. So, PLEASE get FloorplanFinder running like your website.
Problems with App: you can't design and it starting kicking me off after 10 sec of only viewing my design ( which was the final straw for me and it just started doing that maybe 5-6 weeks ago).
What you have is great, please don't stop and fix it!

I have several floor plans saved in Floorplanner, and I love being able to do the walk through view on FloorplanFinder . The problem is that it is still quite buggy and more often than not it won't pull up my floor plans. I look forward to improvements to make FloorplanFinder more usable.

I just got FloorplanFinder on my iPhone 4S. I want it only for making my own projects. I didn't see anything in options to take me to the place that I can make projects. So, I tried to log in using my email- thinking it's the only other thing I could do in the options list, besides looking at other projects. All that would happen is the screen would make a shaking motion for a second. And I noticed nothing new in options or anywhere else after that. So, I log in using Google. Then, a new option called My Projects comes up in the list. But it's blank, of course. Yet, nothing led me to the part where I can actually make my own projects, and it was the only new option. I don't believe that FloorplanFinder is going to last very long in my phone.

I was surprised when I found FloorplanFinder was only 6.4MB - so only takes a second to download. There are numerous options for browsing floor plans, and I was content to just browse through other users' creations and look at them in 2D and 3D. As a layperson, it's still very interesting, and FloorplanFinder ran smoothly and without crashes. Definitely recommend.
