App constantly “forgets” that I have a paid digital subscription and constantly wants me to “subscribe”. I get the morning news email digest but if I actually want to click through to read an article - oh boy what a headache!!! An endless loop of login attempts as if I am a new subscriber. IthacaJournal and UI has been awful for years. Cluttered with ads and pop ups. I actually use to work in a Gannett newsroom and really want to support the IJ. But IthacaJournal is awful! I can see why the Ithaca Voice is so popular.

Worst news app ever. Maybe one storyline per day of local news. Sports section is a joke with old scores still posted. Rarely do they cover local colleges.

IthacaJournal has a huge bug that makes it unusable. If you have voice over turned on anytime you select and article it will take you back to the main article only. I pay $10 a month for a broken app. Please fix this so people with visual impairments can use it also.

IthacaJournal reports no death notices for weeks. There’s always something with IthacaJournal.

App no longer functions. Opens to home page and immediately quits. Tried throwing out and reinstalling to no avail.

IthacaJournal makes it more difficult to go through pages. You cannot squeeze to enlarge articles any longer, on the laptop moving from one page to the next is difficult because you continue to get the calendar. Terrible update.

IthacaJournal keeps saying that to ge better content to sign in but I think I am signed in. So am I or am I not getting the full version? Cannot tell!

Apparently no matter how many times I sign in, IthacaJournal cannot remember that I pay for a subscription each month for years. I’m so tired of it.

IthacaJournal and the account interface makes it difficult to support local media. Please improve it!

Local content is virtually nonexistent, Gannett is stealing the subscription money. If they ever update the obituaries again (it’s been a week) I hope to see theirs is included. Don’t waste your money.

The old app used a san serif typeface that was easier to read. Now I need stronger reading glasses. A dark screen mode would also be appreciated.

Can no longer access the print edition through IthacaJournal . I have a paid subscription. I can’t even check my account- it keeps taking me to the o line edition. Can’t get comics, editorial, etc. what happened??

Articles not kept up to date, and I get error message a lot saying "unable to load story" with option to try again or read offline. When it opens most stories are from days ago. Not happy at all with Ithaca Journal app.

Pics are very slow to load, sometimes don't load at all. I want to easily view and navigate among the obituaries. IthacaJournal makes doing so very frustrating. Please fix.

So I had subscribed to IJ for my iPhone, things work ok until I want to look at pictures of the journal. Cannot look at them, they want me to subscribe again? How many times do I have to subscribe to view the IJ in its completion?

Thanks but. If IthacaJournal would update the paper on a daily basis it would be great. It is an add on to our hard copy subscription. We pay the price and would love to have a daily update. It is at times 3-5 days behind .

You get the main headlines and some good local reporting with IthacaJournal that works fine. Ads not too annoying.

Not really any in depth Ithaca, NY news...

I like moving quickly around the paper.
