I haven’t been able to access JournalCourier in the past week. I’ve deleted and reinstalled several times with the same problem of it crashing every time I try to open.

I have used JournalCourier for years. Since the most recent version came out it immediately crashes on both of my iPhones. I have uninstalled and reinstalled JournalCourier and I’m using the latest iOS. I called customer service for help and they said there must be something wrong with both of my phones. There is not! Then they said I need to talk to Apple. No, I think they need to talk to someone get this glitch fixed. JournalCourier is now unusable.

Periodically, I am unable to read articles. I have my fee automatically withdrawn each month with no exceptions. Right now, I keep being locked out. I go to the "restore subscription" link which takes me no where. Very aggravating. There is no way to contact anyone for help.

We have been subscribed to home delivery for 5weeks! The paper has not been delivered at least 15 timesheet! It is random days that we don’t receive it. On Sunday I asked for the paper to be re delivered, still didn’t receive it. I hope our account is being credited accordingly. If this continues we will be removing our subscription☹️☹️☹️

Would do 0 stars if possible! Latest update is horrible and constantly crashes. I’ve removed app and reloaded multiple times and it continues to crash. I have latest iPhone and software is updated. Don’t frustrate yourself with it! They need to fix it.

Pay for your local newspaper even if you get it digitally.

I’ve had issues recently with JournalCourier not opening. It starts, then abruptly closes. I have to access the paper via my browser instead. I’ve deleted and reinstalled, but no difference. Please fix this.

JournalCourier will not load, so I’ve deleted it and reinstalled several times over the past month.

JournalCourier has not been working past several days. Am a subscriber and went get daily email cannot access it. Will go to App then disappear. Only way to view that way is to delete app each day and download it.

I use the Journal Courier app every day to check the local news and sports. Having read the J/C since 1967, it’s pretty much a figment if it’s former self. The lack of staff editorials and reader opinions is really sad.

JournalCourier is failing. I pay to read the news but it’s impossible when it crashes upon opening each time. I’ve tried uninstalling it and re installing. Still crashes. I’m ready to stop my subscription.

While using the iPhone, app crashed when clicking on masthead to return to homepage. It then crashes every time you reopen. This happened first to my wife on her phone, then the today on mine. Only fix is to delete app and download again.

Most recent update crashing instantly on Open. Will re-rate when fixed. Until then, don’t waste your time. Go to the print edition (separate app) or access through a browser.

I like getting the local news and national/world news without bias. Fortunately JC still presents the news in detail and offers opinions with common sense opinions. Thank you.

Cannot view photo gallery from the media section. I have an iphone 10

The obituaries are very difficult to use. There is an announcement of someone’s passing only. To find out more you have to search the funeral homes pages. Very cumbersome. This used to be an OK app but not so much anymore. Disappointing.

App immediately crashes after attempting to open since the iOS 14 update.

Since the upgrade we have not been able to use JournalCourier . It crashes immediately. Would not recommend until this problem is addressed.

A little slow uploading new articles.

This is one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. I don’t know if it is just JournalCourier or if it is also the incompetence of the paper but I seem to be stuck in some kind of infinite loop where every time I try to click on a link it asks me to log in. Every. Time. This is bogus.

JournalCourier is great to get your local news on demand without having to thumb through the newspaper. However I have noticed some problems popping up since I first downloaded JournalCourier a year ago. Now when I try and read an article it will freeze in the middle of the page and not allow me to scroll down. This random scroll feature really makes reading difficult and almost renders JournalCourier useless. I now have to open the article I want to read and then turn off all other connections to get my news. I hope they can get an update for this problem otherwise I will have to quit using it. Also it would be nice to include the classifieds and other features as part of the mobile friendly app instead of having to connect to the online site. Thanks for news J&C now fix your app so I can read it.

When you using JournalCourier there is no rhyme or reason to were they will be order what order they will be listed in.

Rarely gets updated, and now you can’t even read the articles unless you subscribe....even if you subscribe to the paper version.

App is unresponsive and keeps subscriber in a never-ending loop. Despite being able to log in, cannot access account.

This ap keeps freezing up every 5 minutes or so

For a very reasonable price I got a one year subscription to the J&C. I have cancelled the paper delivery because it just kept getting smaller. Now I can read Dave Bangert's articles (alone, worth the price) and keep up with Greater Lafayette goings on when I am away. I would suggest better archives access. Work on your system, which is hard to figure out.

I love the JC stories. They are just the right level of detail for me to read on line. One of the reasons I read less newspapers in print these days is there is just too much copy. And then all too often the on line version of some of the same papers think you want all the same stuff and feel compelled to dump the whole wad on you. That's NOT what I want!! I want a shorter higher level synopsis of the article which I can read faster and even more importantly, easier. Online is where the writer needs to consistently focus on 6th grade level language which is where most of us are at, I hate to say.

Enjoy JournalCourier because I like having the news for Lafayette at my fingertips when I'm away. And I like the notifications that help me keep up with current conditions.

My home town is Lafayette, so I love being able to access the news via the J & C app. It's very user friendly and has a great lay out. But I am very disappointed in how "far left" the stories seemed to be regarding this past election (and continue to be). I remember the days when reporting was just reporting and the opinion of the journalist was not the focus, I wish we could go back to that kind of journalism.

You can get the highlights of local news without subscription. All the mobile formats work well. You may want to turn off alerts completely as everything is considered "breaking news" unless you want to hear about a cat stuck in a tree. As long as you don't want to dig too deep, it's a good reference.

I subscribe to this newspaper online and I am always having difficulty loading on my devices. It allows access to four devices but sometimes it tells me I cannot access because I'm trying to load on too many devices. I only have four devices!!! JournalCourier can be extremely slow. It's just frustrating because I pay a monthly fee!
