  Delivery

  We have been subscribed to home delivery for 5weeks! The paper has not been delivered at least 15 timesheet! It is random days that we don’t receive it. On Sunday I asked for the paper to be re delivered, still didn’t receive it. I hope our account is being credited accordingly. If this continues we will be removing our subscription☹️☹️☹️

  J&C AppReview

  This app is great to get your local news on demand without having to thumb through the newspaper. However I have noticed some problems popping up since I first downloaded the app a year ago. Now when I try and read an article it will freeze in the middle of the page and not allow me to scroll down. This random scroll feature really makes reading difficult and almost renders the app useless. I now have to open the article I want to read and then turn off all other connections to get my news. I hope they can get an update for this problem otherwise I will have to quit using it. Also it would be nice to include the classifieds and other features as part of the mobile friendly app instead of having to connect to the online site. Thanks for news J&C now fix your app so I can read it. Sincerely, Frustrated Subscriber

  Hard to find articles

  When you using this app there is no rhyme or reason to were they will be order what order they will be listed in.

  J-C App works great!

  I use the Journal Courier app every day to check the local news and sports. Having read the J/C since 1967, it’s pretty much a figment if it’s former self. The lack of staff editorials and reader opinions is really sad.

  Complete Waste

  Rarely gets updated, and now you can’t even read the articles unless you subscribe....even if you subscribe to the paper version.

  Hometown digital paper

  For a very reasonable price I got a one year subscription to the J&C. I have cancelled the paper delivery because it just kept getting smaller. Now I can read Dave Bangert's articles (alone, worth the price) and keep up with Greater Lafayette goings on when I am away. I would suggest better archives access. Work on your system, which is hard to figure out.

  Nice writing and KOOL info

  I love the JC stories. They are just the right level of detail for me to read on line. One of the reasons I read less newspapers in print these days is there is just too much copy. And then all too often the on line version of some of the same papers think you want all the same stuff and feel compelled to dump the whole wad on you. That's NOT what I want!! I want a shorter higher level synopsis of the article which I can read faster and even more importantly, easier. Online is where the writer needs to consistently focus on 6th grade level language which is where most of us are at, I hate to say. Thanks JC for meeting my needs for on line news and sports information. Thomas Ribar

  Enjoy, but.....

  My home town is Lafayette, so I love being able to access the news via the J & C app. It's very user friendly and has a great lay out. But I am very disappointed in how "far left" the stories seemed to be regarding this past election (and continue to be). I remember the days when reporting was just reporting and the opinion of the journalist was not the focus, I wish we could go back to that kind of journalism.

  Well done - with limitations

  You can get the highlights of local news without subscription. All the mobile formats work well. You may want to turn off alerts completely as everything is considered "breaking news" unless you want to hear about a cat stuck in a tree. As long as you don't want to dig too deep, it's a good reference.

  Not impressed

  I subscribe to this newspaper online and I am always having difficulty loading on my devices. It allows access to four devices but sometimes it tells me I cannot access because I'm trying to load on too many devices. I only have four devices!!! The app can be extremely slow. It's just frustrating because I pay a monthly fee!
