Pretty good for reviews, but the “Nearby” section for finding hooch is sorely lacking. It doesn’t appear to have been updated... ever? There are venues that no longer exist listed. And say there’s no simple way to report that - it really needs a couple simple buttons, “Mark venue closed” and maybe a “correct info” for places with incorrect addresses or phone numbers. I don’t think the tequila lists for many places are complete or recent. They should be dated, to let consumers know.

So for reviews... sure, it’s a solid app. For actually finding tequilas... stick to WineSearcher, much better database.

Very well organized information, easy to use, lots of useful features. I use this all the time for my job and for my own research. I mostly use it to find out about production methods and what brands are made where. It’s fun to find out where and how different brands used to be made as well. I can’t believe all of this information is so well organized in one place. I love the news section too!

New user, I haven't really had a chance to shop with it yet. But it looks like a good reference source. It will give me a encouragement to try something "new" based the suggestion of other Tequila fans.

Hands down the best app. Instead of focusing on fads, or frills, instead we get the encyclopedia of tequila. The tasting notes are very pro, more than most people can probably pick up on but for those who can it's spot on. My only complaint is I wish they would add mezcal considering the spirit comes from agaves as well.

As a long time tequila lover, I’m humbled to find the community that come with TequilaMatchmaker (which has so much to offer!). It’s a bit slow, but as long as I’m sipping tequila while using it, it’s no hardship. Thank you for TequilaMatchmaker!

I used to have TequilaMatchmaker and it worked perfectly, but I got a new phone recently so I had to download again but it doesn’t let me log in at all. It just crashes and that’s it. Hope you can help me your app is really helpful for my job and hobby tequila.

I find TequilaMatchmaker to be an invaluable resource in finding new brands and in keeping track of what I've already tasted. They are very good at updating it on a regular schedule so that new brands are usually available before you've even heard about them.

Give TequilaMatchmaker a try. You'll love it.

I really was looking forward and trying this application out because I’ve seen it on a social platform, however each time I went to create an actual account either by logging in, using Facebook to sign in or even use my personal email the application will not load it’s stuck on unknown error and when you login from Facebook it closes TequilaMatchmaker automatically!

Great app to keep track of all the agave spirits I’ve had and to research the best ones to try. This is a required app for tequila beginners and enthusiasts alike. Only thing I’d like to see more of is better/more labeling which tequila uses additives so I can avoid those.

Thanks to TequilaMatchmaker I have learned so much about tequila. At first I went for what was trending like the Clase Azul before I learned about diffusers and additives and thanks to the premium selection and expert/panel recommendations I found Fortaleza and G4. Couldn’t be more thankful for TequilaMatchmaker, I love tequila.

Why doesn’t TequilaMatchmaker have the same functionality as the website? The ratings are helpful though. I’ve discovered a few new tequilas because of TequilaMatchmaker though.

I’m glad I came across TequilaMatchmaker and I’m also glad I can learn more about tequila . They go into detail about the process of how tequila is made step by step .

I expected search filters. At least the option of the additive free list, seems have to use the website for that.

Ugh!!! Yet again, you have to set up an account or use your Facebook account to use this stupid app! Why do they need personal information??? Answer: to sell your name to high-end liquor sellers! Better off to buy a book or just use the web. My privacy is worth more than this invasive app!

TequilaMatchmaker is great for discovering new tequilas. However if you don’t spell the name brand 100% correctly it won’t show up period; It’s like it’s lost or something. That’s my only issue with TequilaMatchmaker.

There is no real ability to search nearby. I searched for the bottle I wanted and it returned a single retail store(I’m in SoCal, where I’m sure more than one store sells tequila), and the results did not even match the bottle I searched. What a waste of time and effort.

Useless app. TequilaMatchmaker doesn't have any kind of "sort menu" so you can't find specific tequilas by type (anejo, extra anejo). You also can't sort tequilas by rating which is the main purpose of having a database like this. Useless, uninstalled it within seconds of using TequilaMatchmaker .

The Developers of TequilaMatchmaker have done an incredible job of sifting through the world of Tequila, creating a systematic approach to rating the thousands of varieties that are delivered for public consumption and, what’s most important, they’ve created a system whereby each member of the apps community has the ability to rate and score any particular product and then share that with the rest of the community.

“Priceless” is how I’d rate TequilaMatchmaker , for my appreciation for the splendor of the Agave plant has soared to levels well beyond my expectations, and this after being a 20 plus year Tequila consumer. Hats off to the brave two who have “given us” this unique gift.

TequilaMatchmaker is great. I love the blind rating feature. I love the search by NOM or name feature. It’s great. TequilaMatchmaker is very slow loading at times and can benefit from a performance boost. I also wish it had the same search functionality as on the website where you can search by category (ie: blanco, reposado, etc).

Don’t be turned away by those 1 star ratings, this is absolutely the best tequila review app out there. From aficionados to people wanting to learn more about tequila, TequilaMatchmaker deserves top honors for sharing reviews, brand information and the coveted ‘additive free’ designation. Download this!

Great app!

I really want this to be a great app, but it is not. Very clunky, not very easy to use, mapping feature to find products is terrible. Take a lesson from Vivino, the wine finder/rating ap, it rocks. Please know, I wish this ap worked better.

Tequila Matchmaker is such an excellent resource for anyone who wants to learn more about tequila. Must have app for someone who is just discovering tequila or has enjoyed it for years. Good drinking friends!

I am new to tequila so TequilaMatchmaker showed me so much on what to look for in a tequila. It’s help steer me to good tequilas and tequilas that are not considered all that desirable. I literally would not go into a liquor store without TequilaMatchmaker . Great job!

Can’t get passed the sign in screen. Based on recent reviews this problem has existed for at least 6 months yet there’s been no fix. The developers clearly don’t care about their app and that’s a shame because it’s connected to a useful database. I guess legacy users only will get the rate anything moving forward.

I am a fan of TMM online, so downloaded TequilaMatchmaker in order to use the "find nearby" feature. But, app wont let you do anything without signing up or signing in. Tried using Apple ID and app just spun without ever logging me in. The tried to just sign up the old-fashioned way and same thing happens. Spinner-loader and no way to do anything.

The TequilaMatchmaker, everything about it is amazing. The only issue I’m having is with the blind tasting, won’t allow me to assign a tequila after the blind tasting. ☹️

Can be so much better. Performance is mediocre. Needs to load and respond faster. Can use optionality to manage wish list (e.g., sorting, preferences, etc.). That said I love the ability to track my tastings and have community ratings at my fingertips. Nothing else comes close - I just want more. :)

I am incredibly appreciative of all the hard work that has gone into classifying and rating all the tequilas that are out there. The ONLY gripe that I have is that it takes so long for information to load. it would be nice if the data was actually stored in TequilaMatchmaker , not just pulling a version of the website.

I only downloaded TequilaMatchmaker because the web interface forces you to in order to see the nearby availability of the items, but TequilaMatchmaker is terrible! It waits for the bottle images to load to start to respond, which is extremelly slow, and the localization does not work at all. The UI is also not friendly at all.

Excelente! Big help with Tequila Info. It’s not perfect but it sure is useful. Love their Additive-free Initiative. We live in Jalisco and I use TequilaMatchmaker often. I highly recommend TequilaMatchmaker s as a work in progress.
