Tried creating an account, when I went to put what tasks I am willing to do the website wouldn’t load. I logged out and tried to login to try again and was promptly met with a message saying “your device has been banned due to violating this app’s TOS”. Fix your website.
They have several Scammers on app not professional or organized I almost got scammed looking for work!
Airtasker is full of people trying to pay for likes on social media or people trying to scam people out of decent money. The search function doesn't work at all. As a professional photographer with a strong background in IT, marketing and graphic design, I thought this would be a good way to pick up some extra cash. Too bad none of these people understand the value of these services and tried to charge $50 for services that would normally cost hundreds.
Sometimes a customer asks for a certain price without realising the actual cost but Airtasker dosent realise it, as a business owner you'll get banned for upgrading the price or lowering it even they will block your account because they think you're messing them over, not just your account bur your phone aswell, this apps just wants the money honestly but they gotta work for it lol, is just such an irony but they chase after the money but they block you if its not in their favor.
DO NOT download Airtasker and create an account if you value your sanity.
I have been deleting emails from these people for over a year now. I've emailed support, changed my notification settings and deleted Airtasker numerous times, and still cannot get off of their relentless mailing list. I am not very particular about keeping a clean inbox either, but this is excessive. If you make an account, you are basically giving yourself a perpetual chore. I am considering deactivating the email address I've used for 13+ years just to escape the constant barrage of emails about random, vaguely-relevant tasks that people need completed all over the world. I've had to go to counseling and started grinding my teeth at night from the added stress. I have never even used the service! Making an this app account is one of the worst decisions I have ever made online. There are tons of service out there that are less invasive, try taskrabbit instead.
Don't make the same mistake I did. RUN while you still can.

This platform is hosting scammers posing as recruiters. Do not waste your time! There’s no way to report fraudsters and the vetting process is a joke!
Literally it’s nothing but ads with numbers and emails or people who don’t respond. That’s it, nothing more and nothing less. My first experience on Airtasker I got scammed for a 550$ job posting ads on Facebook which I never got paid for and when I reported this issue, this app took 0 responsibility and I can kind of understand that but since then I’ve seen the same scammer post 3-5 new ads! Like they’ve done nothing and continue to do nothing almost as if they support and promote these scams. This is basically a cheap, untrustworthy, rip off of fivver. Do better.
Way better alternatives out there. Tech is below average and they have absolutely zero customer service.
Hidden fees at the end of the transactions, not upfront about the real cost and that this app adds more money at the very end. Deceptive.
App needs fixing. When I open a photo from a Tasker I can’t close it and need to force quit Airtasker
It’s a decent app & business model but the fees are too high. I’ll be looking for alternatives.
I’m new to this I recently posted a task and immediately got someone that answered. I will update once that happens after feb, 8th. Airtasker I can’t log into at all. I have no issues on the web site tho :)
It appears to only be available to people in Australia. Bummer.
Was searching for about a month and came across Airtasker and finally found somebody that would actually do the job for less money then other contractors that we reached out for the job and it took literally about two minutes of our time for us to get responses.

I absolutely love this. Any and everything you need can get handled here. I LOVE how easy it is to use and communicate through. It protects your privacy and funding until things are complete and satisfactory. Have a weird job or project you need help finishing- CHECK IT OUT!
