When it's works

I love this magazine.. But it's intermittent when it works. I've been hoping for an update so I can read it.. But not yet

Not Bad

Most recipes are quite nice, but the whole mag needs an edit. Also, the focus on British grocers and brand names is quite annoying. Be prepared to substitute if you don't want to use "Allinson Premium White Very Strong Bread Flour" or "Billington's Golden Caster Sugar". Sometimes even substituting is rather challenging. What do you do for something like this: "1 packet of Tilda chickpea, yoghurt and mint rice"? This happens too often. I understand the desire to simplify, but for non-Brits, it's pointless. (Pssst. The internet now stretches beyond the English Channel.)

Just like a PDF

I really did not enjoy the experience of using thhis magazine. There was zero interactivity--not even the TOC was clickable. You have to wait a moment for the pages to appear in a higher, readable, non-blurry image. Just a pain, really. When you change orientation to vertical you automatically get one page, whch is nice, but because this electronic issue is exactly like the printed one, if the recipe spans two pages then you have to swipe alot. I kind of like the Britishness of it--it is a UK publication, so you should expect measurements to be in metric, etc. BUT, the lack of standard interactivity makes this a comeplete no-go for me.
