I have a subscription to FC plus the digital issues from 2012 but when they updated their app I could no longer receive them on my iPad. I called FC and found out my ipad (with old app) could no longer upgrade to the new iOS 11.4.1. I was planning on purchasing a new iPad anyway so when I tried to reinstall all the old issues again on the new, updated one I could not. Very frustrating! So I called FC again. This time I was transferred to the Digital subscription dept and spoke to a woman: Debbie, who was EXTREMELY HELPFUL! First, she told me to delete the old app. Then download from the App Store the FC app again. After that I opened the app, put in my email and when it says to reinstall issues you must press “Subscriptions”, NOT digital. After a few seconds....all my magazines reappeared! So for those of you who still haven’t been able to get your passed issues try this, and thank Debbie in digital magazine dept. Great Magazine!

I am a long time a print format subscriber but I also love Fine Cooking Digital. Unlike many other magazines, this one works in both portrait and landscape. You can zoom in to the pictures and back out to see the entire page. It also gives you a visual hint of items you can click on and dive in. Thank you for not taking shortcuts, you've made this digital version really usable and therefore enjoyable. If I could ask for something- it would be other media type clips to help the experience - animation, video to illustrate techniques for example.

I downloaded the app a while ago and I love having the magazine on my iPad. I did experience a similar problem as other reviewers in that the latest issue download failed and told me to connect to WiFi. I emailed the help desk and they were so helpful and diagnosed the problem as being low memory on my iPad. I took off some of the photos and videos stored and it worked just fine after that. Thank you so much for the technical support,a even though it wasn't your fault. I'm now back to normal and testing out new recipes on my family every week.
