Program is very easy to use, and the quality of recordings is better than many apps. Also like being able to put various files into folders.

I wish there was a way to select multiple files and move ALL of them into a folder or delete ALL of selected files. As it is, users have to move/delete files one at a time. Time consuming when you have multiple recordings/.

Used to work fine, now it backs up to the cloud. Guess that’s good- but can’t seem to download any of them. It just spins. Hopefully just overlooking something went a contact message but thought to put it here too. I have a lot of recordings at risk otherwise. Thanks

Update: I have 132 gig left of free space on my phone. My recordings continue to disappear. I need to know what is going on. I trusted you to retain my recordings and I can even download them

I never give 5/5 but will make an exception in this case. If RecorderPlus never got any better than it is today it would still be A++ Would Buy Again… cannot think of a single feature or tweak required to make it better.

My use case is capturing important thoughts for an on-the-go podcast. Over the years I’ve used many technologies and this is far better than anything else I’ve tried. I stopped looking this time around after finding RP records Bluetooth. If I don’t sound great it’s because of my choice of headset.

I've been using RecorderPlus for a couple years and continue to find it a great app for recording speech, music, etc. with great quality on my iPhone. I also use this to record doctor consults with my family members and myself. It is so good to be able to listen to all the information again and make informed decisions.

I think I will like RecorderPlus but it is VERY ANNOYING when iPad users who use a key board cannot use RecorderPlus in landscape mode. I have checked and made sure my rotate is unlocked and there seems to be no setting to fix this. It makes it very inconvenient to use when editing etc.

This is the recorder that I have been looking for. I am using it for class to dictate flash cards

I do like RecorderPlus very much and hope the developer continues to support it. I can’t expect him, her or they to work for free forever to keep it working on every new iOS update. I’d also like to request support for the Apple Watch. I’d pay extra for that as well. Thanks for keeping the costs reasonable.

I mostly use RecorderPlus when video recording church musicals. I record with multiple cameras and multiple microphones on iPhones; some with built in microphones and some with external microphones, then put it all together in Final Cut Pro. I get sound from the room, orchestra pit, etc. I like how it monitors the level and has great export options.

Felt like app developers deserved a review for a job well done. Been using RecorderPlus for years; prob close to 10 yrs… Great to take verbal notes, writing ideas, inspired song lyrics/music piece…I love the quick and easy Export individual or Export All section. Very clear recordings, awesome edit recorded functions, VERY user friendly. Just love it.

RecorderPlus is really well built. Everything is intuitive and flows like my mind works. When you include the fact that I am using the free ad-supported version - then RecorderPlus moves into the hall of fame on RecorderPlus Store, if such a thing existed.

I could go on and list features but I’m sure that’s in the description. Whether you are an occasional recorder, or record lots of sessions, RecorderPlus has what you need. Makes me have hope that there is still good in this world:)

Thanks to the developers. They somehow find a way to keep improving upon an app that has long ago reached the ‘we thought of everything’ territory.

Been using it for two years and very good tool. However one function for improvement is the email file. For some reason latest edition isn’t compatible with iPhone 13 or Os so the send button doesn’t show up once you’re trying to email file. But overall, best product in category

I am a returning customer for RecorderPlus from a few years ago for an iPad. It is very easy to record, to edit, and to share by email to any computer. Excellent features! I just wish it still would be compatible with my old iPad. I still love all the features, especially to share a long file. Keep up this awesome app!

I purchased RecorderPlus in 2015 and have used it extensively. There was one update that “broke” RecorderPlus for a bit, but that was it. Overall, I’ve had a great experience with it. I hadn’t been using it much for the last year, but today I did and what a nice surprise to see the updated interface. It took me a minute to figure it out. What a great improvement in the look of a very useful app. Previous reviews Unable to edit recordings. Selecting and deleting don’t work. Have to force close and reopen and maybe every few times it will work. Don’t know what happened but needed to be fixed.

I use “Recorder Plus” for my mobile filmmaking. Clear surface, easy and practical. It is my favorite recording app. I only would love to have the option to directly export to desktop via Airdrop. I have 2 other real microphones … but I often prefer Recorder Plus, better sound. Plus: It is not a subscription. I would NEVER use a subscription!! I use it for interviews and Foley.

As I'd written previously I've sued R for years and have loved it but after the new software refresh there were some prioblematic bugs. I wrote in and when I got back from vacartion, the most significant criticisims had been addressed. The major omission I had comlained of was returned and the opther isuses seem resolved as well, and will be confirmed with coming use.
Once again, Recoder Plus has my full throated endorsement.

I think RecorderPlus is great. I only use it for recording and editing classes I teach, not for professional sound quality work or anything like that, and for me it really works well. I've tried a few other apps and they didn't offer all the features, like being able to cut, edit, and export so quickly and easily. This one also doesn't just stop recording by itself, which some other apps I had did and that was so infuriating. Thumbs up.

This is not a casual app. It is Indispensable technical but incredibly capable. There are some user interface changes I would make but I use this extensively. Atlee I send off recordings to be transcribed. As a young lawyer at a big law firm I learned how to stop and start in certain delete verbal pieces of a document. Having lost access to a secretary decades ago I really missed that ability. Now I use this application for relatively detailed edits, and send them off to a service called Rev. For less mission-critical documents I use the handy “export to Word recognition“ feature.

I downloaded Recorder Plus probably back in 2017? (Maybe) Anyway, RecorderPlus makes it so easy to edit your favorite songs. You can cut out a part you don’t like, tweak a song in your own way. As for recording... I’ve used RecorderPlus on this iPhone and on an older iPhone as well and it does a fantastic job at capturing audio. As for the Audio you capture, you can mess or tweak with that too. I’m never getting rid of RecorderPlus, I absolutely love it.
Update:
January 14th of 2023 and still… this is my all time favorite music editing app and recorder.

What a joy it is to have such a fine recorder. During the pandemic we were able to get the sermons to those that don’t have the skill level to operate social media but know how to retrieve and play their emails. This has been a God sent for us. We are a very small congregation and our congregation was also able to share with friends and family members the sermons.
Thank you for the ability to also attach the transcripts with the recording for those who prefer to read the sermon notes. Again this is a wonderful app. It has been and still is a blessing.

Theres nowhere where it says start a new recording ..
And when you cut or clip a section out of recording and you go back to resume overall playback of recording the playback is in slow motion upon playback of rest of recording
