I use this app to watch my church on Apple TV. I don't understand why the developers decided not to include a section that has what I usually watch! Also, the search feature needs improvement. When I search for my church, it never just show the live event, it just shows an event that was 4 years ago! I have to go to Account -> my church to see the this app event. Not very user friendly! If this app would update Livestream , I would give them more stars!

So... Livestream has not been updated in a year? Now that Vimeo has taken over they have done nothing.
iOS , Apple TV, and Roku apps need a major revamp of the UI. It’s like something out of the 1990’s.
First, my followed channels should show up from and center. Then, why are all these recommended programs something I would have no interest in watching? It’s almost like you are pushing an agenda on me. Just because others are watching it doesn’t mean I would want to. Why not log what I do watch and suggest similar programs? It not like you don’t log that info already.

You’ll notice that the last time an update was pushed was two years ago, and IT SHOWS! The amount of times Livestream crashes is annoying to say the least! Constantly having to close the entire app down in order to move to a different video is frustrating! I only have Livestream because of specific people, ministries, and organizations I follow. If they went to something else I’d follow in a heartbeat, heck I’d encourage it. FIX Livestream !

I enjoy using LifeStream from TV to watch our church broadcast when I’m away. However I find it puzzling that I don’t see my followed account front and center when I open the this app app on TV nor do I find a way to quickly view all my followed accounts. Seems like a reasonable assumption I’d focus on those when using Livestream right? I have only the option to search making we wonder the point of “following” any account other than the emails I receive (why not phone push notification?). Email seems a strange medium for “take action now” communication.

I can go from another organizations web link (Our Saviour New York, which should by OSNY on this app) straight to their live event on Livestream . But, even though I have this organization marked as " following" in Livestream when I try to find them they are not there? In fact it doesn't show me following anyone? Very disappointing! The other weird thing is I cannot find this organization when I do a search in Livestream . But like I said, if I go from their site I can go straight to the live events on this app?

The camera keeps switching from facing forward to selfie mode. The spot where you click to turn it back is gray and doesn’t work. If I uninstall and reinstall, it sooommmeeetimes works for a little bit, but then switches the orientation and sticks. I also have issues with other phones connecting to the this app studio app. It’s super annoying, but I don’t have any other app options. Also, why isn’t there a support option?

Overall not a bad app. It streams content well with few hiccups due to buffering or lag. Sound is good. My biggest complaint against Livestream has more to do with live-streaming my church’s services. I know when they will be going live, it’s scheduled to go live at a certain time, Livestream even counts down to when it goes live. However, when it goes live, it doesn’t automatically switch to viewing the content. I have to completely close Livestream and find the this app again in order to view the content. Frustrating.

My church began to stream services on this app. I had a very difficult time setting up an account and then getting it to work reliably. But once it started working, it was great - five stars. It was not easy to find my church among their channels but once I did I followed it. However I gave Livestream 3 stars because when I click on Live or Upcoming in the Following tab it comes up empty. I have to manually search for my church and then I can watch the live service.

Livestream works pretty well. My biggest wish is that those I follow show up on my home page. Right now I have to search to find those I am following. When I receive notice a this app that is happening in that moment the link opens in a search engine. I have to open Livestream and search for it. This causes me to miss the beginning while I spend finding it. Once I am in it is ok.

Our local PBS streaming service was not streaming these critical debates although other areas were doing so. After a long search, I finally found that these could be found on Vimeo this app. Very happy to find this.
I do find it puzzling that Livestream has not been updated in three years. I take this long indifference to mean that the this app service is not high on Vimeo’s priority list.

Since I have updated phone, this app seems to be working better, it’s more consistent. Signing up for email alerts of my favorites takes me straight to this app which has been working flawlessly, video picture and sound is good. Let’s see if it lasts.

this app does exactly what the name implies and delivers it effectively in the manner that I use it. My church body Calvary Chapel South Bay utilizes Livestream to stream all the live services from the Sunday morning services and evening service as well as its midweek service on Thursday. I love that after the initial lice service is over I can access the then archived service and toggle to the point of the broadcast that I want to view and listen to. I can pause it and read the slides my pastor presents during the service and note anything that I find interesting. I’m sure there are plenty more advantages and perks to Livestream that I have yet to engage.

I downloaded Livestream so that I could watch the 3hr Supercross qualifying show called “Race Day Live”. It allows me to save the shows time slot in my Google Calendar and it sends me a alert before the show starts. Livestream always works great and never gives me any trouble.

I have used this app to view some of the tech shows but I really wanted to see the lunar eclipse. I forgot that this app was going to broadcast so we missed the first few minutes. Fortunately, we can view that part on Livestream . Livestream looks great on Apple TV as well!

I’m really pleased with streaming on this app. I’ve been using for Onetaste events for more than a year now. this app is a lot easier to use this year and there have almost no interruptions in service. Signing on is a lot easier also. I’m grateful for continued improvements and updates.

The technology is great - video is crisp and stays connected, the audio is clear and constant - but the events (like College sports) need to also have 1 or 2 simple commentators and somebody behind the camera to make their events really work for their audiences...

For me, it’s simple. Livestream notifies me when a broadcast is about to take place. I respond and watch the broadcast/video. That’s it. I guess one might say “I’m low maintenance”
Also, if I want to rewatch a previous broadcast, I go to Livestream and watch it. If any of this changes, a future review may reflect it.

I only use Livestream to watch one church’s services, so my use is limited, but as I said in the title, it always works really well. I love how you can turn off the video and it will play in the background, so it also works well in the car. Never really have any buffering issues at all anymore.

My family always enjoyed watching the parade in our hometown, but we couldn’t watch it on TV anymore since we moved away and not on the local cable system. I am still on their email list, so I got notice that they would live stream the parade this year. I created an account for Livestream , and I was able to cast it to my TV for my family to enjoy.

I’ve tried several streaming apps (at least 3), and this seems to work better than the others, although I do find it to be a bit overwhelming & confusing - perhaps because it does so much. I gave it 5 stars because it doesn’t throw ads in my face constantly. Navigation is still a challenge, so I guess I need to spend more time with it. I’ve even learned more from reading the other reviews.

I can’t give more than 2 stars here because Livestream hasn’t been updated in 2 years and casting to Google Chromecast is completely broken. All you will get is Error on your phone and on your TV you get a screen trying to load your video and then a splash screen. Completely broken. Fix it. 2 years and no update is unacceptable

So far, I have used it for one event. I appreciate that the events that are live streamed are archived so quickly and can be viewed soon again. The one problem I have with it is that it’s hard for me to find my event. The Search function doesn’t locate my event. Also, I am a Follower but the event doesn’t show up as being Followed.

I have had Livestream for many years and I love it. I like that it keeps my search history but I don’t like it doesn’t save the last event watch.

I love being able to see different worship services that are far away. Special programming never been easier. Thank you for making this a great app. A must have especially for our Seventh Day Adventist members who are traveling.
