Valuation App

By far the best valuation app out there available on the iPhone and uValue was just updated to work with the new iOS waiting on their ipad update..

Uvalue

It is incredibly complete and thorough. Great work.

Great iPhone version of powerful iPad tool.

It must have been a challenge to put all of the information and tools that the iPad app provides on the smaller iPhone, but they did a great job. I like the ability to choose between "Simple" and "Detailed" valuations. Fantastic to have this kind of analytical power on a device that is always with me.

Great value

This is a fantastic product. Nothing else holds a candle. Higher returns on capital correlate to higher standards of living. Use uValue to make the world a better place. I'll try my best.

Addm: there are at least 2 "bugs" in the WACC valuation method. Be careful.

Entrepreneuship Finance Instructor

Handy, well thought out valuation app from one of the most widely-respected valuation experts among academicians and practitioners in finance/valuation. Great for those new to or w/basic knowledge of the subject.

Great app

Prof Damodaran continues his great contributions with uValue. Tremendously useful. It is almost unbelievable that so much information can be squeezed into an app. It will take you 2-3 lengthy chapters in a corp finance book to cover this material.

Amazing app

Easy to use and lots of concepts and guidance in your hands.

what a great app

uValueMobile is a very good app. It is truly useful and easy for me to use.

Awesome App

has been very useful so far!

Features

You can value firms using the ‘weighted average cost of capital’ (WACC, or 'cost of capital') approach, the ‘adjusted present value’ (APV) approach, the ‘dividend growth model’ (DGM), or real option valuation (ROV) techniques.

Consequently, uValue is fundamentally educational in its intent — it comes with three important features: pop-up boxes that define and explain every input or concept, a uValue Companion that is a mini-textbook on valuation, and links to a data set that give you industry data benchmarks.

It was jointly created by Professor Aswath Damodaran at the Stern School of Business and Professor Anant Sundaram at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, two academics with extensive teaching, advising, consulting, and research experience on business valuation.

The app also includes a set of calculators to value bonds, annuities and perpetuities, as well as calculate cost of capital, forecast exchange rates, lever/unlever betas, and so forth.
