You could follow Write An App For Dummies and deisgn a more sophiaticated, more operational app than this hot mess. It's clunky. It's slow. It's counterintuitive. Best of all, it lies to you! They remove confirmed outages from the "Outage Map" before they're actually fixed. How do I know? Well, because I'm sitting in my pitch dark neighborhood right now but our "dot" has disappeared from the map, although if I try to re-report our outage I am assured that we are having one and it will be fixed in the next hour.
I thought the website was a dumpster fire--and it is, it's an antiquated amateur-hour farce of a website--but DelmarvaPower is the "hold my beer" of crappy programming.
