If a company notice that a customer is using them extremely large amount of a product which is not normal you would think the company would help the customer out by getting in touch with them and saying let me let us help you lower your bill and teach us how to do that rather than continue to charge us exorbitant amounts of money when it’s really not necessary. I know that was a mouthful by the bus for me too. I am printing copies of my bill and I won’t want to speak to someone in the Marva to help me understand my bill and at the same time I want to put in for a change of address.

Customer service is always great, and always helping in anyway the can. They are very flexible with overpayments and will do what ever possible.

Intuitive yet lacking

Overall a step in the right direction but the redesign stumbles in the one area its needed the most and that is with checking and adjusting thermostat temperature. Trying to do that sends you back to the web page looking controls that are still quite difficult to use zooming in and out of.

Website with many faults

1. This site never sends me an Ebill despite having a correct email. I have to remember to check the site to find out if I have been billed.

2. You cannot adjust the thermostat from DelmarvaPower and must go into the website.

3. I have emailed Delmarva as instructed with issues concerning DelmarvaPower but never receive a response.

Poor operating procedure

After several years of being a part of their auto pay program, Delmarva inexplicably dropped my enrollment without warning. This is despite never missing a payment whatsoever. I was told they made a mistake and had to re-enroll. So I did, only to find out they never processed my enrollment even though I got confirmation they did. What is going with Delmarva?

Security Upgrade?

I just downloaded the latest version. The description says there’s new security. I was expecting two factor authentication for example. I see no difference. What changed?

App Security Risk

The newest version of DelmarvaPower keeps you signed in even after you completely close it. This is a huge security risk, you have to manually sign out each time.

I was able to open DelmarvaPower and go right to my account information with out being prompted for a password or Face ID.

Never understood “convenience fees”

Trying to find a way to add a new account of the updated Delmarva app. But, there’s no options to do so? Is there a way you can a new account? Or it’s something that’s going to need a update? Hopefully this gets resolved quickly.

Not showing my bill

I haven’t been able to view my bill in DelmarvaPower for about a month now. Been trying to be patient hoping you guys would improve DelmarvaPower or fix the bug but still can’t view it. Extremely inconvenient.

While DelmarvaPower is fantastic when it works, since this new “update” occurred, every single time I want to log in, it tells me a newer version is available in DelmarvaPower Store, so I have to delete it and reinstall it. I can never just login anymore.

Incredibly terrible. Just forced to download new version and now I cannot get to the energywise mobile app to adjust thermostat. I am now forced to use the the full app which is impossible to see on my phone. Terrible experience.

Bill is skyrocketing

I have no idea why my bill has gone up 30 percent. Something is fishy going on and during the pandemic. You guys are just taking advantage of the circumstances like everyone else. Conglomerate… must be nice ripping people off.

I keep getting told that there’s an update available I try to update it sends me back to the original page cannot pay my bill

Touch ID is inconsistent

I installed DelmarvaPower after the installation of a programmable thermostat. DelmarvaPower works well and makes it easy to control my thermostat remotely. This is a real convenience and money saver. There’s lots of Delmarva information on the website. Perhaps there should be a separate Delmarva app just for the thermostat.

The Touch ID is very inconsistent and rarely works, which requires the typing in of the password every usage. Tech support for DelmarvaPower is basically nonexistent. After being transferred several times over about 30 minutes, the support person acknowledged not having any answers and suggested I turn my phone off, which I had already tried.

Inexcusably awful

You could follow Write An App For Dummies and deisgn a more sophiaticated, more operational app than this hot mess. It's clunky. It's slow. It's counterintuitive. Best of all, it lies to you! They remove confirmed outages from the "Outage Map" before they're actually fixed. How do I know? Well, because I'm sitting in my pitch dark neighborhood right now but our "dot" has disappeared from the map, although if I try to re-report our outage I am assured that we are having one and it will be fixed in the next hour.

I thought the website was a dumpster fire--and it is, it's an antiquated amateur-hour farce of a website--but DelmarvaPower is the "hold my beer" of crappy programming.

Not too easy

I like the idea of this and hope it gets better. App was harder to use than expected.
1. Every time i logged into DelmarvaPower i had to reset password. Not sure why but it never kept my old password on file.
2. When i did get logged into DelmarvaPower i scrolled the temp up or down but somehow it always put the thermostat into a schedule and would drop to the pre set temp of 62, and it’s winter! Finally i just moved the schedule temp up just in case it changed.

Needs some updating.

Can’t pay in the app

Everytime I try to enter my bank or credit card info to pay my bill, it says my info is incorrect, after checking multiple times. It also needs an option to save my payment info so I don’t have to do this everytime.

Needs fixing

Can’t see my energy wise thermostat since updating my phone to iOS 12.2.

Useless

If a space isn't a valid character in a user name or password you should filter that character. I use Swype to enter user name and that usually has a trailing space.

Even with a known user and password I can't get in and do anything. And yes I've attempted to login with another keyboard. Keep mailing a printed bill, uninstalling this now. I'll pay through online banking.

Broken

Was fine until the last update when it lost my password and took away my ability to log in using faceID. Even lost the correct answers to my security questions to reset password. I’m pretty sure I know my mother’s maiden name and where I attended high school. I guess I’ll start paying my bill with a paper check again.

Worst app ever

When I try to login it tells me my name or password is wrong. After about 10 tries it finally connected me. Then I attempted to adjust thermostat for vacation and within 30 seconds I get a message that it has timed out and I need the login again. Repeated from the beginning 3x, same result. Not ipad friendly.

frustrating!!!

every time I open DelmarvaPower to make a payment it wants me to enter my bank account and routing number 😤. I am deleting it and just using the full site. Wish it worked as I like making payments through apps - supposed to make life easier ‘

Face ID

App works great but I have the new 11 Pro iPhone with the capability to utilize Face ID to log into apps. DelmarvaPower use to have the ability to log in with Touch ID. Please update/fix DelmarvaPower to accept Face ID as well please

Not compatible with iOS 13

Why is it so hard for companies to make apps compatible with updated iOS software? DelmarvaPower is not compatible with iOS 13. You are owned by one of the largest utilities in the US and you can not afford to have a team updating apps as needed?

Useless

Will not respond to logins that work on the web site. Once DelmarvaPower is established with a password it won’t recognize it for subsequent log ins. Deleted DelmarvaPower from my phone. I now log in through a Safari bookmark.

Touch ID now wont work

Spoke to cust. svc. and told to fix it on my phone (which presumes my app when opened will let me access Touch ID (yep - it displays a special screen entitled touch ID and the option is a big “X”
- dead, no response, etc. Your new update, DPL, has me on an endless loop.

Can’t us App to control Thermostat

I used to be able to control my thermostat while at home on WiFi network. Now I’m able to login to DelmarvaPower but the screen is blank when I go to the thermostat screen. Please Update
